Traditional Mass In Hamburg at New Latin Mass Location
Hamburg/Reinbek (kathnews). A new era has begun for the Old Mass in the North at the Hamburg Mass site. Last Sunday almost 80 believers attended the ceremony led by Archbishop Dr. Stefan Heße at the newly established Mass location in the Herz Jesu Church in Reinbek near Hamburg.
Liturgically, exactly 12 years ago to the day, on the “Feast of the Holy Family” - in the calendar of the old Rite - the implementation of when Pope Benedict XVI had promulgated the Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum , in the Hanseatic city, by the former Archbishop of Hamburg, Dr. Werner Thissen. The followers of the old Rite were assigned the church of St. Brother Konrad in the Osdorf district to attend the traditional holy Mass. On January 13, 2013, a pontifical high mass also took place in the church of St. Brother Konrad.
A lively community was formed for the celebration of Holy Mass on Sundays and public holidays in the old Rite, which was already attended by large numbers. Already in 2018, the Old Mass Community in the north was a guest at the Herz Jesu Church in Reinbek to celebrate Christmas Mass. Due to Corona and the reorganization of the celebration of Holy Mass in the traditional Rite, through Pope Francis' Motu Proprio Traditionis Custodes, community life in the old Rite in Hamburg-Osdorf came to a standstill. The believers are all the more pleased about the new beginning at a Hamburg mass location to visit the old Mass.

Ordinations Continue in Tradition-friendly Diocese of Frejus-Toulon

On Sunday, January 21st, a priest and three deacons were ordained in Toulon Cathedral. It was a day of joy, because by papal decree of April 28, 2022, the ordinations, which had already been scheduled for the end of June of the same year, were suspended. But the bishop was not allowed to consecrate them.
Msgr. Dominique Rey. Bishop of the Diocese of Fréjus-Toulon since 2000, was targeted by Pope Francis over two years ago. His courageous openness towards communities of different types, but above all his concern for the believers who were committed to the traditional Mass, as well as an above-average number of candidates for the priesthood made him suspect that he had not selected them carefully enough. The suspension of orders as a first papal sanction was followed by an apostolic visitation and, at the end of November 2023, the appointment of a coadjutor, which ended in the gradual dismantling of a conservative bishop.
Msgr. Franҫois Touvet, Bishop Rey's coadjutor, spoke of the “grace of new beginnings and hope” because the newly ordained, after a long period of waiting, which was also a test for Msgr. Rey and the entire diocese, giving their trust to God.
He recalled the great applause with which he had announced last December 10th that ordinations would be possible again. He thanked Bishop Rey for his humility in accepting the fact that he could not administer the orders himself.
Indeed, Bishop Dominique Rey bears his repression with dignity according to his episcopal motto: “Mitis et humilis corde .” Meek and humble of heart. He felt that the suspension of orders was an unjustified sanction. The fact that his coadjutor was able to immediately announce the repeal of the papal decree upon his introduction may have confirmed this assessment and made visible the papal arbitrary act, which is an act of cruelty towards the candidates for ordination and a slap in the face to a bishop for whom the absolute truth of the Gospel is everything.
After the most recent ordinations, three priestly and three diaconal ordinations are still pending. It is not yet certain whether they will all take place on June 29, 2024, as announced in November. Since they were not allowed to be among the newly ordained, the candidates still cannot be sure that they will not be rejected after all. This also applies to the candidate for the priesthood Thomas Duchesne, who took part in an interview with LifeSiteNews and described that he accepted his suffering in the time of waiting as purification for his future priesthood in Christ sacrifice for his apostolate, the sanctification of souls. John Paul II Academy calls for the dismissal of Cardinal Fernández

(Rome) The John Paul II Academy for Life and the Family asks Pope Francis to remove Argentine Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernández from his position as Prefect of the Roman Dicastery for the Faith.
In a statement, Thomas Ward, president of the academy, expressed his “astonishment” that Cardinal Fernandez accepted the office of Prefect of the Faith “despite the fact that over the past decades he has written scandalous books of an erotic nature that border on pornography and contain passages , which contradict the traditional teaching of the Church, especially his works 'Heal me with your mouth. The Art of Kissing' and 'Mystical Passion. Spirituality and sensuality'.”
Instead of retracting the “shameful passages, Cardinal Fernández simply stated that he would no longer publish them today and that he prohibited their reprinting,” Ward said.

Don Nichola Bux Says Pornmonger Fernández Should Resign --- "He has discredited himself"
Don Nicola Bux: Religious Prefect Fernández has discredited himself and should resign.
Vaticanist Edward Pentin yesterday published an interview with noted liturgist Don Nicola Bux about the controversial document Fiducia supplicans. In it, the long-time confidant of Pope Benedict XVI. and advisor to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, said that the Declaration of the Dicastery for the Faith “is not part of the authentic Magisterium” and that its author, Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernández, should resign. If Fiducia supplicans, as he is convinced, is not part of the authentic Magisterium, then the declaration is not binding.
Don Bux spoke to Pentin about how the document was received in Italy, what he thinks of Fernández's January 4 clarification, and what all this could mean for the future of the Church and the upcoming conclave. The well-known theologian found clear words.

The problem, says Don Bux, is that “the majority of the baptized are ignorant because for decades social issues have been preferred to catechesis.” This has consequences: “For irregular heterosexual and homosexual couples, the following now applies: love is love.”
But those “who use logic” are of course of a different opinion and oppose this postulate. This is the second dubium of the five cardinals from summer 2022: Is it possible for a priest to bless marriages between homosexual people under certain circumstances and thereby suggest that homosexual behavior as such does not violate the law of God and man's path to God? This doubt is linked to another: does the teaching held by the general Magisterium remain valid that every sexual act outside of marriage, and in particular homosexual acts, constitute an objectively serious sin against the law of God, regardless of the circumstances in which they take place, and regardless of the intention with which they are carried out?
The declaration of Faith Prefect Fernández on January 4 “is therefore a classic attempt to paper over the cracks”.
Benedict said Don Bux, “in his remarks of April 11, 2019," described the origin of the debacle of Catholic morality and thus of the division among Catholics, "because the cohabitation of both a heterosexual and a homosexual couple is no longer considered sinful”
“The division or schism that was previously hidden has now come to the surface. Whether it will be formally declared at a future Church event, such as a synod or conclave, remains to be seen. The next pope will certainly have to do the math and decide whether he wants to deepen the division or resolve it by calling a council. Whoever will be the candidate for the papacy will have to be asked in the meetings before the conclave to answer the accumulated Dubia.”
The resistance to Fiducia supplicans appears primarily in Africa and Eastern Europe and not in the West because “in the Western Hemisphere after the Second Vatican Council, relativistic ideology” penetrated moral teaching and destroyed natural law.
"A Jewish friend who heard about Fiducia supplicans said to me, 'Does the Pope not know the Bible?' The teaching is pastoral, “but if the pastor does not know it, he cannot do pastoral work”:

Pope Francis should abolish the fiducia supplicans and replace the prefect with a man of “certain, sound and pure doctrine,” in the words of the apostle to Titus.
The current situation will therefore have a significant impact on the coming conclave. According to Don Bux, the next pope will have to ask himself the question:
“What is the mission of the church: to adapt to the world or to save it?”
The unity of the Catholic Church is endangered by Fiducia supplicans , said the renowned Liturgist, “because in practice it accepts opposing views among churches scattered all over the world on such an essential moral truth. An example: the new bishop of Foggia said his church would be the 'Church of Francis who blesses all'. But isn’t the Church the Church of Jesus Christ?”
“Fernández has discredited himself by publishing a document that is the opposite of that of his predecessor, Cardinal Ladaria, in 2021. Is this a 'further development' or rather a doctrinal heterogeneity? The Dicastery and the Holy See have exposed themselves. Someone has already renamed the Dicastery 'for the destruction of the faith'. The suspicion of ignorance and bad faith will weigh on Fernandez in every document he signs. He should resign.”

Safety for women from harassment? Paris gives a Third World answer
Paris is in a state of security emergency, but the government is turning a blind eye for ideological reasons.
[Katholisches] Almost nine out of ten women said they had been victims of harassment, sexual assault or even rape on public transport in Paris. These figures were recently published by the French Ministry of Ecological Transition. Don't be amazed at the curious name of the former Ministry of Transport, but pay attention to the dramatic figures that reveal a real security emergency in France's capital, one of Europe's most important metropolises. Safety on public transport is a powerful indicator of the state of a society.
But how do politicians and RATP, the state-owned public transport operator in Paris, intend to react to this? France has been governed by the Socialists since 2012 and Paris since 2001.
The aim is to create so-called "safe spaces" in all metro stations of the Paris Métro. The term comes from the woke sociologist language of the USA and refers to protected spaces that create an "inclusive environment" in which people should be "free from discrimination". Instead of taking action against the evil and eliminating it, women should take refuge from harassers in a safe space. The state and the city capitulate to the increasingly unbelievable violence. They do this because the violence comes from foreigners.
The first shelter was opened on 11 December at Auber station. By the end of 2024, there should be a total of 30. There are a total of 308 stations in Paris.
"You can ask for help if you're being harassed on the street, if you feel unsafe, or if someone is aggressive," Pauline Vanderquand, co-founder of the Umay app, told the media. Users who download the app will be able to locate themselves geographically and find the nearest protected location.
Fourteen days after the opening of the first anti-harassment room, there were already ten cases where it was visited.
"We have almost one victim a day," says Pauline Vanderquand.
Staff were trained to receive the victims, reassure them and give them information. But what became of civilized Paris, where women could feel safe on the streets?
With Sandrine Charnoz, the RATP has its own commissioner for combating sexual and sexist violence. It emphasizes that the employees of the protected area support the employees of the transport companies and vice versa:
"All people need to know that they can turn to any RATP employee, especially our staff in the train and metro stations, but also to a bus driver or inspector."
Hasn't that been the case so far?
The "Safe Spaces" initiative is the result of pressure from the political left and feminists. However, it serves to gloss over it, because it is intended to circumvent the real problem, namely the drift of the multicultural society. The unbelievable increase in violence, the victims of which are mainly women, is not due to the French, but to immigrants from foreign cultures, whether with or without a French passport.
According to the Ministry of the Interior, which is suspected of not wanting to show the reality in all its harshness for political reasons, in Île-de-France, which includes the Paris metropolitan area, 69 percent of thefts and physical and sexual violence on public transport were committed by foreigners (not even taking into account naturalized citizens of foreign descent). 52 percent of the perpetrators were of African descent.
Although the violence mainly affects immigrants from Islamic countries, the ruling left does not want to talk about the issue to, as it says, "not be considered racist" or, to put it less charitably, to affront the political competition that raises the issue as "racist".
A representative of the so-called Brigade anti-frotteurs, a plainclothes police unit that takes action against harassers who abuse the evening hours to sexually harass women, confirmed that the attackers are of non-European origin. It is precisely this aspect that the woke left is trying to hide. They don't want to admit that immigration policy has failed. They prefer to put the safety of women in Paris at risk.
The Brigade focuses mainly on the northern area of the urban transport network, in particular lines 2, 4 and 13, which pass through the most criminal areas of Greater Paris, but where there are still tourists. The latter factor apparently plays a role in plugging the security holes. Resources are limited, which is why we have to focus on action. What is meant by this is that at least appearances should be preserved to a certain extent. A member of the brigade recently told Le Figaro:
"In the ten years I've been doing this work, there have been some Europeans and one Chinese, but the vast majority of the attackers I've stopped are of Maghreb origin."
These voices of reality are not perceived by the self-proclaimed "benefactors". In order not to "stigmatize" a certain group of the population, reality must be concealed. Thus, the idea of "protected spaces" is also similar to the proposal of Caroline de Haas, the founder of Osez le féminisme, the oldest feminist movement in France that advocates lesbianism and abortion. In 2017, De Haas had proposed to combat sexual harassment in the multicultural district of Chapelle-Pajol, where hardly any women dare to take to the streets, to "widen the sidewalks".
