News -- Paolo Gabriele Seen at Decadent Suppressed Monastery Santa Croce

Strange Networks -- Alcohol Auxiliar: 160 Hours of Public Service -- With the Homo-Terror in the Sex-totalitarianism -- Against the Old Liberal Wooden Hammer Method -- Socialistic Double Standard

Strange Networks

Vatican.  The Pope-betrayer Paolo Gabriele was connected with the Old Liberal Roman Cistercian Abbey of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme.  That was reported by the US-Blog 'orbiscatholicussecundus.blogspot.com'.  The Abbey was suppressed by the Pope after serious allegations of decadence.  The author of the blog explained that Gabriele and his family were personally sighted in the Abbey.

Alcohol Auxiliary:  160 Hours of Community Work

Poland.  The Auxiliary Bishop of Warsaw Piotr Jarecki must serve 160 hours of community service.  The judge condemned him after his alcohol fueled tripe with almost three per parts per thousand into a lamp post. (0.3% ++Codileone's was 0.11%)  The Auxiliary Bishop accepted his punishment.  He will lose his driver's license for four years.

Homo-terror in Sex-totalitarianism

Germany.  Soon, the German convert and writer Gabriele Kuby's book "Die globale sexuelle Revolution" will be published.  In almost five hundred pages she hammers many hot topics.  She shows how the UNO and the EU are puppeteers of sexual decadence.  She warns against sexual equality,  of political manipulation of the language and the plague of pornography.  Finally, Mrs. Kuby revealed the homosexual movement and its dependence on totalitarianism.

Against the Old Liberal Wooden Hammer Method

Germany.  Pastor Benedikt Bunnagel of Ratingen in the Archdiocese of Cologne dismissed the German wooden hammer manner of proceeding toward Church-tax.  This was reported by the 'Rhenische Post'.  AT present the German Church is sending a document to departing members, that informs them of their "serious mistake" against the Church community.  Fr. Bunnagel does not want to sign such a letter.  He announced this in his sermon and earned applause.  The Archdiocese of Cologne will not suffer any shirkers. The letter must be sent without alterations, explained the Press Speaker Nele Harbeke of the Archdiocese.   In matters of -- not demanded in central questions of the faith -- obedience canon there is no choice for the pastor.  A priest may only supplement a personal document.

Socialistic Double Standard

"Peer Steinbruck has collected at least 698,000 euros since 2009 through lectures and board activities.  There is data from the Bundestag, but also business reports with details of the compensation for a board of director's chair were accounted for."

From the online edition of the German boulevard magazine 'Bild' on 8 October.  Comrade Steinbruck is number one in the list of the best paid among German Budestag representatives.

Linz Bishop Pulls Safety Cord

Der Bischof von Linz,
Mons. Ludwig Schwarz

© Pressefoto Bistum Linz
The Old Liberal Lay Board wants to manipulate the inside of the Cathedral of Linz for 45,000 euro, in order to propagate their reinterpretation of the Second Vatican Council.

(kreuz.net, Linz) Yesterday, Bishop Ludwig Schwarz stopped a project "Catholic Action Upper Austria".  It wanted to hold a Lay Council hostile to the Catholic Faith.

This was according to the regional paper 'Oberösterreichische Nachrichten'.

The church-hostile paper made its first appearance during the Nazi period under the name 'Oberdonau-Zeitung -- Amtliche Zeitung of the NSDAP' (Official paper of the National Socialists).   It was Church-hostile then too.

The Bishop Confirmed them Himself

The project was originated by the president of 'Katolischen Aktion', Bert Brandstetter.  He is a notorious Old Liberal and enemy of the Church.

Brandstetter demands women's ordination which is against the Gospels, at ever opportunity.

In Autumn 2011 Bishop Schwarz confirmed the election of Brandstetter,  who makes no secret of his Old Liberalism.

At first the Bishop was in Agreement

Last December Brandstetter wanted to propose to form a supposed Diocesan Council.

Bishop Schwarz still praised the proposal.

Now the project has gotten too big for him.

Council Stage in the Cathedral

Brandstetter wants to build a Conciliar hall in Linz's Cathedral like the one that stood in St. Peter's Cathedral during Vatican II.

The project with two grandstands may cost 45,000 euro. Brandstetter has already beaten up som sponsors.

First thing yesterday he stopped the project.  He defended the decision with the sacrality of the Liturgical space.

Brandstetter wants to still play with fire (A play on his name which means scene of the fire.)

Brandstetter is disappointed, but will realize other ideas.

In any event there aren't any planned for church grounds.

Leftist Attacks on Catholic Church in Spain and Argentina

Violent Attacks by Enemies of the Church Increase
(Madrid/Buenos Aires)  Two violent attacks against the Church and Catholics. Two events independent of one another in different places.  Nevertheless, there are significant connections.  In common there is a horrifying hatred of Christendom and the Catholic Church.

Argentina: Radical Feminists Attempt to Storm the Cathedral -- "The only enlightening Church is a burning Church"

From the 6th to the 8th of October, a national women's meeting (Encuentro Nacional de Mujeres), a finalist, lay and left organization, took place.  A group of 500 radical feminists poured through the streets with the demand of the decriminalization for the murder of unborn children, and damaged then schools, private homes, autos and memorials.  Finally the violent mob attempted to force their way into the Catholic Cathedral and let loose its destructive fury.  Young Catholics stood protecting the church and formed a peaceful human chain to prevent the profanation of the Cathedral.

The young Catholics prayed the rosary there and earned with that even more anger from the self-proclaimed "Battlers for Tolerance".  The feminist attackers smeared the faces and clothes of the Catholics with pain, which they humbly but undeservedly endured. (film report)

The left-extremist Church-haters could not get through the unit of young Catholics into the church,  still smeared the outer walls of the cathedral with slogans: "The only enlightening church is a burning church", "No God, no model, no husband", "Shit-church, you are a dictator".

The Bishop of Posada, Msgr Juan Ruben Martinze criticized the absence of the police, who did not comply to whose duty it is to keep order and offer protection.  The Bishop demanded prosecution for the aggression, which the young Catholics and the Church suffered.  Additionally he explained that the anti-Church hate slogans won't be removed for two days, so that the people could see them and think about them, about the methods and the level of their hatred for the Church.

Spain: Left-extremists attack Catholic School -- "We will burn the priests at the stake"

On October 17th 100 Left-extremists attempted to storm the Salesian Order operated Catholic school "Maria Auxiliadora" in Merida, Spain.  There are more than 1,100 students educated in the school.  The results are a few lightly wounded and damage from vandalism.

With flags and symbols of anarchistic and Left-extremist groups from the Spanish Civil War, youth attacked the school.  With loud speakers the attackers shouted anti-Church slogans:  "Where are the priests?  We want to burn them at the stake!", "More public schools, less crosses".  The faculty of the Catholic school were insulted wias "fascist whores".  Ten violent attackers managed to get into the school despite the efforts of teachers and security personnel.

The Salesians reported in complaints "against these violent groups", whose behavior "is unacceptable in a just country".  During the bloody Spanish Civil War (1936- 1939) the anti-Church groups murdered more than 4,000 priests, religious and Catholic laity because of their Faith.

Last August Left-extremists action group Pussy Riot desecrated the Russian Orthodox Christ the Savior Cathedral in Moscow, which is the most important church of the Russian Orthodox, in order to promote their political ideas.  The feminists, who've never distanced themselves from their attacks, were condemned to two years in prison.  Of the three women, one was released from custody.  In the courts group memers entered with the symbols of the anti-Church popular front of the Spanish Civil War.  Various initiatives have been called for against the Russian group for their anti-Christian actions since the incarceration of Pussy Riot.

Bishop Williamson Will Find Support at Least in Brazil

Kloster Heilig Kreuz der
Pius-Benediktiner in Brasilien

© beneditinos.org.br
Both Can't be Right at the Same Time

Edit:  the place where the straw was placed that broke the camel's back is in Brazil at a traditional monastery where Bishop Williamson confirmed some children this summer against the wishes of his superiors in the SSPX who did not want him performing any public ministry.  The Prior of this place wrote a brief letter to kreuz.net which we've translated here.  It describes the lines at which the Society will fracture if it does.

So long as Old Liberal Rome rules eternal Rome and so long as the largest confusion in Church history -- the Second Vatican Council -- reigns, there will be no solution.  by Father Tomas de Aquino OSB

(kreuz.net) At present there are two currents in Tradition:  the one wants unity with Rome and the other doesn't.

The one and the other

Some say: We must enter the Church.

The others think:  Whoever is already in, doesn't have to enter.

But we need canonical regularization -- answer the others.

Such is the case with French Benedictine Cloister Le Barroux and the Apostolic Administration of Campos in Brazil and many other cases -- say the second class.

But we won't fall.  It is impossible that God would let this happen. [Neither is it a guarantee that you won't fall in your sonderweg.]

"Wherefore he that thinketh himself to stand, let him take heed lest he fall," is the warning of St. Paul in the 1st Corinthians 10:12.

The evil endures

The same reason will cause the effect to come.

If Benedict XVI canonizes those who excommunicated Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre (+1991) and Bishop Antonio Castro Mayer (+1991), if he celebrates the Jubilee of Assisi, if he defends the Second Vatican Council as conforming with Tradition, then one can see that the evils of the Pontificate of John Paul II have continued under Benedict XVI.

Rome is changing?

But Rome is changing, say the defenders of the negotiations.

In which direction?  Rome allows the Old Mass and removed the Excommunications -- they answer.

But what use is it to allow the Mass of All Times, if Rome allows both forms of Liturgy. [This was a status quo which Archbishop Lefebvre would have accepted.  He was willing to accept far less earlier on.  These concessions by Pope Benedict is actually quite astonishing and have caused untold handwringing on the part of Liberals who wish to pretend that the first 2,000 years of the Church had never happened.]

The New Mass is Hagar

We read in Holy Writ: Cast out the bondwoman and her son; for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the free woman. (Gal 4:30).

Abraham obeyed against his will and made a  contract against it for his wife Sara.

God gave Sara the right, because what is free should not be given over to enslavement.

The New Mass is Hagar, which has no right.  It should be exiled.

Contradictory Context

What the lifting of the excommunications of the Society Bishops refers to: What use is it, to return if one canonizes that which had pronounced against you?

Indeed these two facts do not grasp a certain canonical use.

Actually the spiritual use of the freeing of the Old Mass, which had never been forbidden, and the lifting of the excommunications, which were never valid, is put very much in question by  a contradictory context, in which it would be denounced.

Both may not be right at the same time

Either John Paul II is right or Archbishop Lefebvre.

One can't praise John Paul II and at the same time withdraw the excommunication of Msgr Lefebvre, in so far as they were really taken back.

Both can't be right at the same time.  That is pure Modernism.

The result is a contradiction

It's the same relative to the Mass.

If both are allowed, the result is a contradiction.

That is the beginning of the solution and the destruction of the Catholic Faith.

It must be composed at the beginning

The defender of the Roman offer will say that Rome can not end the past crisis with a conflict.

Human efforts will not solve it immediately.

In order to end the past chaos, it will require a lot of time.  That is doubtless.

But the beginning of this order will come when the Pope has the intention to initiate this.

How Napoleon?

The question arises now: does Benedict XVI want to create Church order?

Of course -- is what some defenders answer.

Nothing is less certain than that -- say we.

To create order in the Church, does not mean, as like it was with Napoleon, to control the Revolution and institutionalize it in this manner.

In order to create chaos, you need a little order -- says the writer and Catholic Brazilian thinker Gustavo Corçăo (+ 1978).

Reconciliation With Liberalism

Benedict XVI.  is a man of order.  But the order which he wants will not be motivated by the royal grandeur of Jesus Christ.

For him the problem lies in the Council, to bring together two hundred years of Liberal culture.

That is what Benedict XVI works for.

Does a Modernist Fight Modernism?

Actually, the others say: Benedict XVI is on the front defending Tradition.  He told us. He wants our help in order to fight Modernism.

This is what was said in Campos too.

How can Benedict XVI need our help in the struggle against Modernism, when he himself is a Modernist?

He can only fight against Modernism, when he has given up Modernism.

With the methods being used till now there will never come a solution.

The complete Faith

I don't know.  What I know is, that St. Anselm of Canterbury said, that God desires nothing so much on the face of the earth than the freedom of His Church.

Actually, a Tradition, which has no interest to stand for the completeness of the Catholic Faith, is the opposite of that which God loves.

But how can you recognize Tradition and the Church?  Naturally, because the Church is Traditional in its nature and it can never give up this quality.

We are the sons of freedom

We is Benedict XVI., if he is not a Traditionalist?  He is a Liberal Pope, who has subjugated the Church.

To put ones self under his authority, without challenging these errors, would be the same as putting Sara under the same yolk as Hagar or Isaac under the same yoke as Ismael.

We are the sons of the free and not slaves, whose are sons of the Second Vatican Council -- a slave of a two hundred year old Liberal culture.

Through Prayer and Struggle

What is the solution, then?  The penitence of the Pope.

How can one bring about this penitence?  Through prayer and struggle.

God doesn't want victory from us, rather battle, as St. Joan of Arc said:

"The soldiers will stubble and God will give the victory" -- through the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

There is our entire hope.

The New CDF Doesn't Get a Hat at the Consistorium

Edit: wasn't the new CDF supposed to get a hat?  I wouldn't want him voting for my successor either.

Today the Pope announces a new Consistorium for November 24th -- at the feast of Christ the King.

(kreuz.net) At the end of the General Audience Pope Benedict XVI. announced a new Consistorium.

On Saturday, the 24th of November, he will name six new Cardinals:

-  The Prefect of the Papal House, James Micheal Harvey (63) to Archpriest of the Papal Basilica of St. Paul Before the Walls.

-  The Maronite Patriarch Béchara Boutros Rai (72) of Antioch, Lebanon.

- The Syro-Malabar Archbishop Baselaios Cleemis Thottunkal (53) of Trivandrum in India

- Archbishop John Olorunfemi Onaiyekan (68) of Abuja in Nigeria.

- Arcibhsop Ruben Salazar Gomez (70) of Bogota, Colombia.

- Archbishop Luis Antonio Table (55) of Manila, Philippines.

119 Voting Cardinals

The coming Consistorium is the fifth for Benedict XVI.

With that, the number of Cardinals climbs to 211.

At the end of November there will be 120 under eighty years of age, and thus are prepared, to elect the new Pope at the next Conclave.

Dissident Pfarrer's Initiative in Augsburg Draws Almost No Young Priests

The new Augsburg priest initiative have enrolled hardly any young priests.  Hubert Gindert, President of the Forum of German Catholics, described this as a revealing fact.

Kaufering (kath.net)  "It's a revealing fact that there are hardly any young priests enrolled in the Initiative."  Prof. Hubert Gindert, President of the Forum of German Catholics  in the statement about the newly formed Priest Initiative in the Diocese of Augsburg.  The 43 priests who had signed among other things stated, that the "many re-married and divorced"  receive Communion, Gindert advised: "It is widely known that these pastors, that not only repudiate against the canon law, but also against the unambiguous teachings of Jesus."

The statement of the Forum of German Catholics about the Priest Initiative of Augsburg

An initiative of 43 priests in the Diocese of Augsburg have advertised themselves with the motto "Mit brennender Sorge".  This motto is stolen from the famous encyclical on National Socialism.

The Priest Initiative wants a discussion with the Diocesan Bishop to "bring reforms into action".  They do this primarily by going first to the public, in order to lend pressure to their demands.  Is this an appropriate style and preparation for a discussion?"

The Priest Initiative wants "alienation of the Church of impeding the faith" and is for that reason against "fatal large scale planning", that means they are against the education of parish communities.   This has its justification in the falling number of priests.  Have the 43 priests in their communities ever once pointed out that the priests the community needs must come from the families?  Have they talked to young people and encouraged these in a priestly vocation?  Or should the priest shortage be dealt with  by imposing priestless sevices on Sundays?

The Priest Initiative wants to allow re-married and divorced to Communion.  "In our Diocese there are many pastors who give Communion to re-married and divorced."

These pastors know that this is not only against church law, but also against the clear teachings of Jesus (Mt 5,31/2;19,3/9; L16,18;Mk 1o,,4/9).  Marriage is not as "the Augsburg Allgemeine" of  10/20/12 thinks, "according to Catholic law" indissoluble, rather according to the word of Jesus.

The Priest Initiative offers a solution to the problem through "synodal structures". "The Evangelical Church can be an example there throughout."

But only he who is resistant to experience can overlook how the Evangelical Church has not prevented the alienation of their faithful with synodal structures.  In the last decade significantly more faithful have turned their backs than in the Catholic Church.

The revealing fact is that there are hardly any young priests enrolled in the initiative.

SSPX Announces New Seminary Planned in USA in the Style of Cluny

(Winona) A few days ago the Society of St. Pius X presented a project to build a new Seminary in the USA.  The St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary will be set up in Buckingham County in the state of Virginia. The new construction has become necessary because of the current shortage of space in the current structure.  The new seminary will offer room for 135 seminarians, to incorporate even room for the faculty and a guest house for lectures, seminars and priestly ordinations.   The internet site advertises  the New Seminary Project, it also  shows the two month old periodical Ad Orientem and a video about its progress.

The current priestly seminary in Winona was established in 1981, in order to provide for the education of interns of the north American Society.  The number of candidates became so large in the course of time that new solutions for the amount of space had to be found.  The existing seminary has a capacity for about 75 people, with a full compliment of seminarians and professors it runs to more than 100.  The orderly operation of a seminary is affected with a corresponding tightness.  For various reasons the purchase of a used ecclesiastical installation was impractical, so a new structure was decided upon.

As an essential element for the creation of an actual space for priestly formation a rural, peaceful area was sought for the seminary.  The plans and the computer model of the project is available on the internet.  The architecture of the seminary complex is based on the sober severity of the Benedictine reform movement of Cluny, as Francesco Colafemmina of Fides et Forma noted. The total cost is estimated at about 40 million dollars.

The buildings of the current seminary in Winona is being planned to serve as a school after the completion of the new seminary.  If the building proceeds as planned for the first phase of building, the move to the new seminary is planned for autumn 2014.

The Beer Tent Mass

Edit: the following is from the Society of St. Pius X German District website.

This belongs to the unspeakable post-Conciliar liturgical destruction: Mass in the beer tent.

Both of the following pictures show this abuse:

In essence the beer tent Mass acts only as a consequent continuing development of the new definition of the Mass:  if the Mass is "a meal for the faithful", then  is it not in the perview to celebrate that meal also in a beer tent?

Rorate Reports, finally: Bishop Williamson Expelled

Edit: you would have heard it here first at least in English.
Rorate has learned and can confirm that Bishop Richard Williamson, one of the four bishops consecrated by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre and co-consecrated by Bishop Antonio de Castro Mayer on June 30, 1988, in Écône, Switzerland, for the Society of Saint Pius X (FSSPX / SSPX) has been removed from membership in said society by its Superior General, and can now be considered a former member. The removal comes at the end of an internal procedure that included repeated entreaties by the higher authorities of the Society regarding Williamson's decisions and actions that apparently went unheeded.
Kreuz.net says he doesn't have the administrative abilities to really rebuild an alternative society.  The proof of that was probably to be had in the fact that the coup which he planned in the General Chapter at the end of August didn't go off as he'd hoped.

Depending on how things work out, he wouldn't be the last man to be kicked out of something he helped to build and sweated over, still, it's not the end of the world.  Who knows what tomorrow will bring?  After all, we just had a story recently about Father Barthe who is the Spiritual Director of the Traditional Pilgrimage to Rome who was himself a sedevacantist.

Whatever happens, you haven't seen the last of Bishop Williamson.

Bishop Williamson in 1991
© Jim, the Photographer, Flickr,CC

In Addition:

Kreuz.net, also has reported and acknowledges Rorate's information on the Bishop's expulsion fromt he Society.

The expulsion is the result of an internal investigation, which the authorities of the Society had over numerous times forbid his public comments.

The website 'lesalonbeige.blogs.com' reported this afternoon that the decision took place and was complete.

Msgr. Williamson is expelled.

The official website of the Society has still not announced the expulsion.

It is uncertain if the Society has understood the theological significance of the expulsion of a Bishop. [Thanks to Novus Ordo Watch for the correction.]

Dissidents Disparage Catholic Faith Despite Archbishop's Words

"Father" Bob Pierson at "Gay Prom"
Edit: There was a lot of controversy a few months ago when a Benedictine guest master at St. John's Abbey in Collegeville wanted to host a nude retreat with a strange nude guru who threatened to "touch" people.   The retreat was cancelled, but the man who made the retreat continues to be a priest in good standing with the Archdiocese and the Order of Saint Benedict headed by the Rock Abbot, Notker Wolf.

Fr. Pierson was born on December 29, 1955 and  graduated from St. John's University in 1978. He was ordained on 2, June 1984.

He's famous in the past for resigning from his campus ministry position at St. John's University when the Pope announced some increased standards for seminarians.  Homosexuals were to be excluded.  The ruling was later softened, but Fr. Bob Pierson insisted on sticking to his guns.

Last year, he even found time to attend a "gay prom".

Since then, he's been toted by the media barons, like the anti-Catholic Huffington Post, as a "Gay Priest" which prompted some stern words from the local ordinary, Archbishop Nienstedt.

Despite the fact that Fr. Pierson identifies himself alternatively as "Epsicopalian" on his Facebook, he is still in good standing.  Indeed, he approves of and has even posted an open letter to the Archbishop by a Lutheran Lay-Bishop.

Despite all of these antics, and many others that go on at St. John's, theAbbey website still describes him as a Catholic monk in good standing, to whom it falls the task of creating an inviting, welcoming and caring environment for visitors to the Monastery.  It's a pretty tall order for anyone to make that badly wreckovated place look inviting.  The poured concrete Abbey Church is a significant pile of brutal concrete, designed by Jewish architect Marcel Breuer. It looks nothing like a Catholic Church and actually more closely resembles a Buddhist temple.  Still, irony of ironies, Father Pierson is in good standing with the Catholic Church and many local people, albeit a shrinking number, have been fooled into believing that the Abbey, the monk, his very public and scandalous declarations, are Catholic.

Despite all of this, more recently, the Benedictine told the tale that he'd been advised by Archbishop John Nienstedt to stay out of his Archdiocese.  Despite what looks like a very stern warning, the errant priest and one of his cohorts, Father Mark Tegeder, continue to work with wheelchair organizations like CALGM   and CPCSM which have been unwelcome in the Archdiocese in the past.

They also continue to be very public in attacking the Archbishop's marriage amendment.  Indeed, despite repeated warnings, including a pointed e-mail to Father Mark Tegeder, the priest has continued to speak publicly, to the glee of the local anti-Catholic Star.

Last fall, Nienstedt told priests and deacons that he expected them to support the marriage amendment and that "there ought not be open dissension on this issue."
He had more specific instructions for the Rev. Mike Tegeder, priest at St. Frances Cabrini Church in Minneapolis who's been a rare internal, public critic of the church on this issue.
"If you choose not to offer your resignation, but continue to act openly or speak publicly about your opposition to Church teaching, I will suspend your faculties to exercise ministry and remove you from your ministerial assignments," Nienstedt wrote to Tegeder in a letter last November.
Asked why the archbishop hasn't removed Tegeder, given the priest's continued public criticism, spokesman Jim Accurso said the archdiocese doesn't comment on personnel matters. More generally, Accurso said, "we are not aware of a single incident where the conduct of an employee regarding the marriage amendment has raised the issue of discipline."
Nienstedt has declined Pioneer Press requests to be interviewed about the marriage question.
To Tegeder, Nienstedt's push is "putting things really out of kilter."
What threatens marriage most is a bad economy and divorce, he said. Trying to deny a small percentage of people with homosexual orientations the right to have committed relationships under law "seems to be cruel."
"That's the odd thing about Nienstedt's making a big issue out of this. There's a small percent of gay people, but what is it, 50 percent of marriages break down or something? Using the constitution to do what he says he's doing, defending marriage, it's like using a bazooka to kill a fly. You're going to get all kinds of collateral damage; you're not doing what you're trying to accomplish."

News Clips -- Planned Attack on Marriage at Bishops' Synod

Conspirators Handled as Advertised -- Objection to Illegal Criminal Penalty ---- Settlers Storm an Abandoned Outpost -- Bad Comparison -- The Crimes of Syrian Terrorists

Plotters Handled as Advertised

Vatican.  The conspirer Bishop Felix Gmur of Basel stood in -- as it had been long planned before -- on behalf of adultery at the Bishops' Synod.  Msgr Gmur the specially drilled journalists, how the Church addresses people, who "live in other family forms".  He prated on of two divorced bigamists, who have lived for fifty years in adultery.  Bishop Gmur would like to know if fifty years of fornication "can't be really valid in our eyes".  The Church should recognize adultery -- demanded Msgr. Gmur.

Objection to Illegal Criminal Penalty

Germany.  The British SSPX Bishop Richard Williamson has lodged a claim against the new German penalty.  The penalty was conformed to a non-existing sin, according to international legal standards, of "inciting hatred".  Another hearing will take place next year.

Settlers Storm an Empty Outpost

Occupied Palestine.  Dozens of Jewish settlers recently attack -- under the protection of heavily armed occupation soldiers -- in the abandoned outpost of the settlement Tarsala south of the 40,000 population city of Jenin in the northerly West Bank.  Witnesses reported that fourteen vehicles with bands of settlers stormed the place.  After that security patrols were led into the streets between Jenin and Nablus.  The inhabitants were threatened and insulted.

Poor Comparison

Germany.  The New Evangelization must be begun by individuals.  The Neoconservative Cardinal Joachim Meisner said this for the to the press official of the Diocese of Basel.  As Christianity received its freedom under the Emperor Constantine in 313, it didn't give Christian families and Christian schools:  "Then one began at point null and we appear to be again at that point."  Only:  Then, Catholics were highly motivated and anchored firmly in the faith.

Crimes of the Syrian Terrorists

"The refugees from the terrorist infested part of Aleppo report of abortion, kidnapping, abuse and burned from their homes and their cars stolen.  'My son was shot by a sniper of the [so-called] Free Syrian Army', shouted a father infuriated in an abandon school functioning as a refugee camp.  The boy has a cast on his foot and metal rods in his bones after an operation.

Renewal of the Church Through Gentrification and Adultery

Call to Disobedience

The Zeitgeist ones want a lobby for the adulterous.  On the contrary the adulterers don't have any interest in this lobby.

(kreuz.net, Linz)  Yesterday the dissident assocation "Pfarrer-Initiative' held their General Convocation.

This was reported by the anti-Church newspaper 'Der Standard' today.

Most Stayed at Home

At the General Convocation which took place on Sunday of all things,  so only a fifth of the five hundred charter members of the group showed up.

Those present decided to expand the board from eleven to eighteen members.

At a press conference they announced the Zeitgeist concerns yesterday evening, that they intend to hold in disobedience.

They denounced the idea that this is "out of fun and games" -- rather allegedly out of "love of people".

Vienna's Cardinal Pays for His Inactivity

The head of the wheechair reform, Fr. Helmut Schüller wants next to agitate the Parish Council.

They are rebelling against the planned destruction of Vienna's parish structure.

Fr. Schüller expects to organize a meeting for next spring for that reason.

Gentrify the Church

The anti-Church newspaper 'Die Presse' reports that the Disobedience Initiative will stop talking about the laity.

They have invented the term of "Kirchenburger" (Church Citizen).

Additionally the wheel chair reformers want to demand women's ordination in contradiction to the Gospel.

Talk up Adultery

They want to define adultery as a "second marriage".

The same immoral conception must also apply for a third or a fourth marriage and function for bigamy too.

In any case Fr. Schüller wants to "lobby" for adulterers.

The problem: adulterers don't have any interest in the Church.

Uruguayan Bishops Consider Excommunication After Abortion Ruling

Montevideo (kath.net/KNA)  The Catholic Church in Uruguay has considered the excommunication of Parliamentarians according to the news daily 'El Observador' (Thursday),  which is being invoked because of the new abortion law.  "The automatic Excommunication succeeds if a person directly supports abortion, and this is direct support",  said the release of the General Secretary of the Uruguayan Bishops' Conference, Bishop Heriberto Bodeant.

The Senate of Uruguay passed a controversial abortion law on Wednesday.  Uruguay is, like Cuba and Guyana the third country in Latin America, which has legalized the termination of pregnancy in the first twelve weeks.  17 of 31 Senate members voted for the new ruling.  The decision was accompanied in the last weeks with a heated social debate.

The Bishops' Conference of the country spoke against the legal initiative of the governing left-leaning Party Frente Amplio.  A statement of the capital Archdiocese of Montevideo spoke of a "sad day for Uruguay" on Thursday.

Summorum Pontificum: A Source of Priests and Religious Vocations -- Interview With Abbé Claude Barthe

(Rome)  From the 1st to the 3rd of November the first great international pilgrimage of Tradition since the promulgation of the Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum to Rome will take place.   The pastoral assistant of the pilgrimage is the French priest, Abbé Claude Barthe.  During the International Pilgrimage the Immemorial Mass of All Ages will be celebrated by three high dignitaries of the Roman Curia,  Antonio Cardinal Canizares Llovera, Walter Cardinal Brandmueller and Curial Bishop Giuseppe Sciacca, the General Secretary of the Governorate of Vatican City.  The Pontifical High Mass at the conclusion of the Pilgrimage in the St. Peter's Basilica will be celebrated by Cardinal Canizares.

Abbé Barthe who is one of the driving forces for the execution of the Una cum Papa Nostro Pilgrimage and gave Alberto Carosa of Vatican Insider the following interview.

Abbé, there are requests of your person from several sides. Would give us a brief resume of your education and vocational path?

I was born in Fleurance in 1947 in south western France.  My priestly vocation went back to my Catholic childhood. I studied at the Catholic Institute of Toulouse as a Diocesan seminarian.  The post-Concliar Revolution forced me therefore to leave the seminary.  I then received a degree in History and Jurisprudence.  I felt so bound tot he traditional liturgy, that I entered into the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X in Econe.  In 1970 I was ordained a priest by Archbishop Lefebvre.  I belonged then to the "hard" wing of the Traditionalists, but I became increasingly Roman and finally a diocesan priest.   Today I am an instructor in the subject of Liturgy in a seminary of Tradition.  One could also say that I am a "published  priest" because of my numerous, perhaps too numerous books and articles.

How did this idea of a pilgrimage of Tradition take place and how were you selected as the pastoral assistant?

The idea of a pilgrimage and for a Traditional Mass in St. Peter's Basilica for the "People of Summorum Pontificum", as well as the diocesean and also the communities, along with the SSPX, has been in existence for about a year in the so-called Roman circles of the "Reform of the Reform",  who really see in the extraordinary form of the Roman Rite,  a supporting pillar for true Liturgical renewal.  Because of the very diverse roles of a Pastoral Assistant they probably thought of me, because I was seen as a party follower who sees "unity in all living powers", a kind manner of border runner between all directions of Tradition.

On the 10th of September you held a press conference, which announced the Pilgrimage.  Could you tie together some of the central aspects?

In the first line I wanted to establish that it would be a pilgrimage of thanksgiving.  The pilgrims will offer above all a thanksgiving Mass in the extraordinary form and and as support for the Holy Father on the 5th Anniversary of the promulgation of the Motu proprio Summorum Pontificum, which is generally known to have come into power on September 14th, 2007.  For many diocesan -- and religious priests who offer their daily sacrifice of the Mass in the extraordinary form, it acted like a spiritual victory, even for the faithful who -- still sadly too few -- parishes, who could feel joy at this Liturgy and its mysticism.   One can say that in this decision by Benedict XVI.  an entire Summorum Pontificum-people was created.  This people will thank him for this.

And how about the other aspects?

I must say that it also will act as a recognition of loyalty to Peter.  The second reason is to announce our love for the Church and our loyalty to Peter, just as and especially in this current time of a bitter and difficult situation.  We are full conscious that the efforts, which the Pope has confronted has been difficult.  The Traditional Roman Mass, especially the High Mass, will always be a wonderful sign of faith of the Church as Mater et Magistra:  it is this Liturgical recognition which we bring to expression at the tomb of the Apostle, for the successor of Peter.  It will be a gift and a plea.  We will especially offer a gift to God, to ask him for graces for the reigning Pope, in order for him to continue his wonderful work, which he has completed since the beginning of his pontificate, especially today in the midst of cross and trial.

The pilgrimage is taking place along with the opening of the Year of Faith, is there a relationship between the two events?

Naturally.  Our pilgrimage will also express our participation in the mission of the Church.  Would would like to introduce the contribution of the always youthful traditional Liturgy for the New Evangelization, which the Holy Father is asking for during the Year of Faith.  It is clear that this is an initiative with the support of a large number of families, and that it is a source of increasingly larger numbers of religious and priestly vocations, something, which has shown itself as proven to extremely valuable in the Western world at present.

It appears that has not sufficiently considered this completely other vocations "crisis", which the institutes of Tradition are experiencing, in which they are forced to refuse those waiting for priestly office because of a shortage of places and facilities, a crisis which is the exact opposite of the Diocesan.

I would even say that one must especially stress this point.  By the grace of God, the Traditional Liturgy promoted without filling all the holes,  there has been a significant growth in vocations in certain countries like France and the USA -- still, the phenomenon could widen itself.  In France for example there are 710 diocesan seminarians against 140 seminarians (50 from the SSPX) in seminaries of Tradition,  this corresponds to 16%.  This relationship also effects those who are ordained to the priesthood.  This year there were 21 new priests of tradition against 97 diocesan priests.  Additionally there has been a complete transformation and realignment of the diocesan clergy.   The young dicoesan priests and the seminarians of the diocese are drawn to both forms of the Roman Rite and say this quite openly.   It is not to underestimate if the same goes for Ffrance, that a third of the diocesan priestly candidates could be described as candidates for Summorum Pontificum.  "Le petit people", as one says in the French, the simple faithful, stand by the Holy Father to follow the mission of the Church.

How do you explain the criticism and irritation about the pilgrimage, which has come from certain circles?

I can tell you that I have recommended that the organization committee is formed around Una Voce, because it works for unification, which is held int he world of Tradition as "neutral" and therefore liable to have the least criticism.  The conflicts and directions within the groups of Tradition considered, it seemed a good idea, to support them first by a hastily established committee,  in order to avoid jealousies and rivalries.  Some critics appeared from the worry in the success from it that a new organization could be created, which would encompass the entire world of Tradition.  If that had been our intention, we would surely have already succeeded to make the earth square.  I think that around the earth in the meantime have the understanding that we have solely organized a modest organizational committee for this event, which will direct the pilgrimage and dissolve on the evening of the 3rd of November.

What message do you want to finish this interview with?

I don't want to finish with theological words, but with those which the faithful can understand that the Holy Mass on the 3rd of November is a giant "parish Mass" of Catholics from the whole world, who come in order to be together with the"Universal Pastor", to pray with the Pope.  They want want to be together for him and to pray with him in the Gregorian Latin Liturgy, which out of their very own understanding is a community Liturgy.

Abbé Claude Barthe was born in 1947 in the Archdiocese of Toulouse, studied at the Institut Catholique de Toulouse from 1964, where he acquired a degree degree in history and in civil law. In the post-Conciliar upheaval he adopted traditionalist positions and entered the seminary of the Society of St. Pius X . in Econe Switzerland. In 1979, he was received by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, founder of the SSPX priest. Because of sedevacantist positions he was expelled from the SSPX in 1987. He was among the founders of the magazine Catholica, which he edited for several years and is one of the sharpest critics of the Church crisis, the brilliant theologian and liturgist the took a teaching position at the seminary of the Institute Bon Pasteur. After years of a canonically unclear status, Barthe approached together with the founders of the Institute Bon Pasteur increasingly to Rome and finally returned back to full unity with the Holy See. In 2005 the canonical status was finally resolved by a decision of the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei, and he was issued a Celebret. He now teaches Liturgy at the seminary of the Institute of Christ the King and High Priest. Abbé Barthe has written many books that are not available in English.

Another Collegeville Predator Pleads "Not Guilty" to Molestation

Minored in "Theology" at St. John's University
Edit: This story seems very fitting in light of the present accusations against Jimmy Saville and others in the entertainment industry.   Remember when Cory Feldman said that "pedophilia was Hollywood's #1 problem?".  Here's a little something to add some substance to that.

"I was surrounded by them, literally... They were everywhere like vultures."

An alumnus of the St. John's University, Mathew David Feeney, run by the Monastery of St. John's Abbey, according to Pine Curtain, was recently accused of sexually abusing two boys he promised would go to Hollywood in the capacity of his talent agency, Walden Entertainment.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (KMSP) - A Minnesota talent agent accused of molesting two brothers who wanted to become actors was booked into jail early Tuesday, one day after a nationwide warrant was issued for his arrest. Matthew David Feeney, 43, turned himself in at the Washington County Jail at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday to be held on $200,000 bail.
He is scheduled to appear in court at 10:30 a.m. on two felony charges of criminal sexual conduct -- one for engaging in sexual contact with a 9-year-old boy and a second for abusing a 15-year-old boy while in a position of authority.
The criminal complaint states that Feeney met the brothers through Walden Entertainment in Bloomington, where he is the owner and casting director who works to secure acting roles in movies and television.
Presently, the accused homosexual pederast has pled not guilty.   He was previously charged in Aitken County for sexual abuse. The complicity of  Sterns County law enforcement officials, allowed him to escape prosecution for 11 other possible cases and  his sentence down to a misdemeanor and he was turned him loose on probation to be a threat to others.

Cardinal Woelki Rejects Homosexual Prize

Berlin's New Cardinal Woelki
Berlin (kathnews/RV) Berlin's Cardinal Rainer Maria Woelki has rejected the nomination he received for a homosexual "Respektpres" from the "Association Against Homophobia".   In his view it is self-explanatory to respect all people;  that's why he doesn't want to draw attention to this says the Archbishop of Berlin through his speaker.   The "Respektpreis" has been given every year since 2010.  Woelki has renewed in agitating for respect for people in same-sex partnerships, but at the same time it's condemned by Catholic teaching.

He has "clearly and unmistakably affirmed that homosexual activity 'is not ordered in itself',  transgressing against the natural law and for that reason can not be accepted according to our convictions in our faith."  On this he's making "no cutbacks in any way".   Substantial and powerful firms belong to the Association Against Homophobia,  like German Football Association (DFB), Deutsche Bank and the German Trade Union Association (DBG).

Russians Overwhelmingly Support Forming Religious Militias

Edit: Remember when Militia became a boogeyman in the US media in the early nineties?  Well, this is Russia and everything seems to be wildly different here. In addition to making anarchist riots by prostitutes and blasphemous derelicts increasingly unpopular, Russians are overwhelmingly behind the idea of forming religious Militias to defend holy sites.

So, they're not just naming submarines after Saints and making films celebrating reactionary political figures, the Russians are taking it to the streets as it were.  To be sure there will be much hand-wringing in the West.  Or will there be?

It's really not much of a stretch to go from this to forming military units to provide security, medical and material support for Christians in the Holy Land, is it?
Moscow, October 18, Interfax - The majority of Russians questioned in an opinion poll expressed support for a proposal to organize Orthodox Christian militias for the declared purpose of protecting holy sites.
The idea was backed by 66% of respondents in a survey carried out by the All-Russia Center for Public Opinion Studies (VCIOM) last month.
The initiative to form militias for patrolling city streets, put forward in August by the leader of the Holy Russia organization, had the widest support among respondents who support the ruling Yedinaya Rossia (United Russia) party - 71%, - among those are older than 45 (70%), those who are poorly educated (73%), those living in cities with populations of more than a million and those not using the Internet (72%), VCIOM experts told Interfax.
