Ask yourself, how much of this has been made possible by the fact that enough of our priests have been acting like rabbis for the past six decades? In the past, tracts like Maria Monk relied on an ignorant Protestant population being shielded from the Faith for success. You can't even pick at minor details in this video. For example, the priest is offering Mass in a black suit and collar. But, I'm sure this has happened at a Nervous disOrdo parish somewhere with a lectern placed in the middle of the sanctuary aping the Calvinists. The only thing that could still leave us incredulous is all of the people going to confession and a priest talking about Hell. That's libelous.

Cardinal Barbarin Will Retire to Brittany
(Paris) Cardinal Philippe Barbarin, who retired as Archbishop of Lyon and Primate of Gaul despite his acquittal, announced his future role.
In March 2019, he was sentenced to six months in prison in the first instance because he allegedly did not report a sexual abuse offender, the priest Bernard Preynat, to the state law enforcement agency in good time. The cardinal had suffered media prejudice that seriously damaged his reputation. The appeals court then received the sentence in early 2020 and acquitted the cardinal. However, there was no real rehabilitation because Pope Francis considered it "more opportune", as it was said in Rome, that the cardinal resigned as archbishop of Lyon. Following this "wish", Cardinal Barbarin submitted his resignation request, which Pope Francis accepted in March 2020.
It was only on May 29, months after the acquittal and retirement, that Pope Francis received the cardinal for an in- person interview . In the meantime, the purple bearer had retired to the Holy Land for a long spiritual retreat.
In interviews with CFR and Aleteia Cardinal Barbarin said the first time about his future. To Aleteia he said:
“When I came back from the Holy Land in late May, I went to the Holy Father. We talked a lot about the Middle East. He said he would like me to be available for missions in countries that I know well, like Iraq, Lebanon, or Israel. Otherwise, he gave me the opportunity to do what I want. I had already contacted the Archbishop of Rennes and the Superior of the Little Sisters of the Poor in Saint-Pern in Brittany, where Monsignor Marcus, the emeritus Archbishop of Toulouse, lives. From the beginning of July I will be by his side, but I will also be chaplain to the sisters. In addition, Monsignor D'Ornellas [Archbishop of Rennes] asked me to teach at the Rennes seminary. ”
Cardinal Barbarin had after the publication of the Motu proprio Summorum Pontificum aligned birituell training at his seminary in Lyon. The seminarians experience their preparation in both forms of the Roman Rite.
The second cardinal, recently innocent in court, initially convicted but then acquitted, Cardinal George Pell, was also stripped by Pope Francis of all his office. Unlike Cardinal Barbarin, Cardinal Pell has not been received by Pope Francis since his acquittal in April. Sources close to the Pope in Rome speak of a possible ("maybe") appointment in autumn. Francis wanted to let some time pass since the acquittal.

Trump Thanks Archbishop Viganò for His Open Letter -- Revelation of the Dark Church -- Francis Promotes Cover-up Artists
Edit: Catholic Snooze Agency doesn't know what to make of Archbishop Carlo Viganò or Trump's praise of him.
[CNA] President Trump on Wednesday tweeted that he was honored by a letter written to him by former apostolic nuncio Archbishop Carlo Viganò, which warned the president against secular and ecclesiastical agents of an atheistic globalist new world order.
The president's tweet is the latest in a series of events that have kept the archbishop in the headlines for much of the last two years, a period in which he has become a polarizing figure in the Catholic Church, and morphed in the public eye from a whistleblowing diplomat to a prognosticator of impending doom amid a spiritual and political battle for world domination.
“So honored by Archbishop Viganò’s incredible letter to me. I hope everyone, religious or not, reads it,” Trump tweeted June 10, linking to Vigano’s recent open letter addressed to the president.Edit: here we have more evidence that Francis is promoting evil Cardinals loyal to him, stacking the deck for further leftist destruction of the Church's structure in future, and the promotion to a key post, of a man who was part of the suite of Secretary of State Cardinal Sodano. What will Spiritual AIDS and his Budghie say? Who cares.
by Archbishop Viganò
WE HAVE JUST been through one of the most disgraceful episodes in which we have seen the prince of lies at work to discredit the book of Pope Benedict XVI and Cardinal Robert Sarah by covering them with vile insults and vulgar insinuations, and the Pope’s jailer, as a judas, now also acting as a hitman.
And once again we find ourselves dealing with another masterpiece of deception: the confirmation by the Pope of the elections of the new Dean and Vice-Dean of the College of Cardinals by the Cardinal-Bishops. This has gone almost unnoticed and yet conceals a devious strategy. It should be borne in mind, in fact, that in June 2018 Pope Francis increased the number of Cardinal-Bishops, which had remained unchanged for centuries, promoting four new ones in one fell swoop. In this way he secured a majority in favor of him, as he has always done with the creation of new members of the College of Cardinals.
To Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, appointed Dean of the College at the age of 86 and therefore excluded from the next conclave, I wish an even longer life than that of his father. But his appointment is a cover for that other more effective appointment — of Cardinal Sandri — which has been prepared ad hoc to pilot the next conclavesecundum Franciscum, that is, according to an updated and augmented edition of the St. Gallen Mafia.AMGD

Voris and CM: Sympathetic to Sex Predators
You Gotta Be Kidding Me: Church Militant ruthlessly goes after SSPX for taking in Fr. McLucas, but Voris’ parish priest, Perrone, literally founded and ran a massive fraudulent non-profit that sheltered countless abuser priests.
A title like this would have been more prudent at America Magazine.
[Barnhardt] Folks, the issue here is the RAGING hypocrisy. Yeah, this HAS to be called out. Bear in mind, the whistle-blower in the case was Opus Bono Sacerdotii‘s co-founder’s daughter, Mary Rose Maher.
Fr. Perrone of Assumption Grotto in Detroit was the second co-founder. Read this piece. It is horrific. If Church Militant and Voris don’t fess up to this wild hypocrisy and projection and apologize to the SSPX bigly and publicly, this should be their demise. [The article she links to has been deleted, so I offer this one instead which shows how the founders of Opus Bono Sacerdoti were found guilty by the Attorney General of misusing funds. Even the Irish Press picked it up..]
This is just awful..
A title like this would have been more prudent at America Magazine.

Two More Accusers Come Forward Against Pell
For decades, 53-year-old Bernie* kept the secrets of his childhood deeply buried.
As a boy growing up in a Ballarat orphanage in the 1970s, Bernie told the ABC's Revelation program that he was abused on multiple occasions by George Pell, then a priest in the diocese of Ballarat.
For years Bernie was convinced that if he reported the abuse, he would not be believed.
"I would hear Pell's become Bishop," Bernie says.
"Pell's become Archbishop. Pell's become a Cardinal. Who's gonna believe a little boy from a home against that conglomerate? You know against that bloody goliath?"

LA Times: Monk Arrested for Sex Abuse in Mass Arrest
Edit: I saw something in the LA Times about a mass arrest of pedophiles in Riverside. They mentioned a “monk”. There was no mention of his ethnicity or his religious affiliation. I’m sure they expected their readers to assume it was an albino Opus Dei “monk” or something like that. Does Opus even hire albino assassins? Kind of hard to be inconspicuous, to be frank. Here’s an English language Thai paper. Thank goodness they care about journalism.
[Coconuts Bangkok] Over the years, there has been numerous cases ofmonks misbehaving in Thai media — from flaunting their jet-setting lifestyle to beating a 9-year-old to death. One Thai monk, however, currently finds himself squarely in the media spotlight of a major American city for his alleged crimes.
Thai monk Sripai Biadnok, 48, was arrested in the US last week for allegedly sexual assaulting two children in a Chicago Buddhist temple almost 20 years ago.
After being picked up on a warrant in Nevada, then extradited to Chicago on Thursday, Biadnok was ordered held in Cook County Jail on US$20,000(about THB620,000) bail by the Central Bond Court on Friday, reported The Chicago Tribune.
Biadnok was reportedly operating the Maisamakeetum Temple in Las Vegas at the time of his arrest.

Just Breaking in News: Evil Cardinal Sentenced to Prison for Covering up Sex Abuse
The French Bishops' Conference did not want to comment on Barbarin's move - VIDEO: Statement by Cardinal Barbari
Paris (kath.net/KAP) [Modernist] Cardinal Philippe Barbarin, sentenced to six months probation for not reporting a case of abuse, will offer Pope Francis his resignation. The Archbishop of Lyon announced this on Thursday in a brief statement to media representatives. "I take note of the court's decision and have decided to go to the Holy Father to offer him my resignation," said Barbarin. Pope Francis will receive him in the Vatican in a few days.
The French Bishops' Conference did not want to comment on Barbarin's move. A brief statement on the website said that the judgment against the Cardinal was being noted and that the outcome of the appeal hearing was now awaiting notice. Barbarin's decision to submit his resignation to the pope was subject to the "personal conscience" of the cardinal. At the same time, the Episcopal Conference reaffirmed its determination to tackle all sexual aggression committed by clerics toward minors.

Archbishop of Johannesburg Says Priests Guilty of Sex Abuse Should be Excommunicated Latae Sententiae
Archbishop Tlhagale: Priests who have been found guilty of the sexual abuse of minors, should be excommunicated latae sententiae.
(Pretoria) The Archbishop of Johannesburg in South Africa, Msgr. Buti Tlhagale, calls for the excommunication, latae sententiae by priests who have been found guilty of sexual abuse of minors.
Archbishop Tlhagale made the request in the context of his sermon last Saturday on the occasion of a priestly ordination.
The offense is so grave and so badly destroys the perpetrator's priesthood that serious consideration should be given in the Church to including sexual abuse of minors in the catalog of crimes that automatically lead to excommunication.
"There is a tangible indignation against the Church's hierarchy for its complicity, for its silence and for its cover-up," said the archbishop, who showed great understanding for this indignation.
"The halo of the Catholic priesthood has been broken by perpetrators," who commits such crimes, and should have no share in the priesthood.

Vatican Hopes to Wait Out the Viganò Dossier
Parolin: There is "unrest" in the Vatican
(Rome) In the Vatican, the dossier of the former Apostolic Nuncio Carlo Maria Viganò is obviously irritating. It is recognizable by contradictory reactions. Obviously, there is no real strategy on how to deal with it. The minimalist counter-strategy is: ignore and sit out.
A strategy that is not lacking in explosiveness, because in the past,
sexual abuse allegations have often been addressed in the same way.
First, the Italian news agency ANSA reported on Monday night that Pope Francis was "saddened" by the dossier, but not thinking of resigning. A resignation request had been linked by Archbishop Viganò with the publication of the dossier. ANSA did not name a specific source but merely "collaborator" of the Pope.
There is, however, no reasonable doubt that the information was not
from the immediate circle of the Pope and that their publication
was intentional at that time.
On Tuesday, however, two journalists very close to the Pope reported the opposite in Avvenire, the daily newspaper of the Italian Episcopal Conference:
According to Avvenire , "the Pope works as usual". An assertion to the contrary of "a press agency" was described by the bishops' newspaper as "machination" and "vulgarity." Even Avvenire noted only "credible Vatican sources", but no specific names.
Regardless, Vatican spokesman Greg Burke responded to journalist questions with a sneaky counter-question:
Aldo Maria Valli, long-time Vaticanist of the RAI, who supports his colleague Marco Tosatti on the Viganò dossier, published an interview on Tuesday with Nuncio Viganò. He defended himself against harsh criticism from the papal circle, which cast doubt on his motivations and credibility.
Yesterday, Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin spoke on the Viganò dossier.
"The pope is calm," the headline of Vatican Insider in direct speech, but "in the Vatican sorrow and unrest prevails."
The Cardinal Secretary of State thus ironed out the conflicting reports of the previous day. It grieves, but it is not the Pope who is sad, but employees in the Vatican. The dossier of the former nuncio in the USA had caused "great pain", but not Francis, according to Parolin, but "with the collaborators of Francis".
The Cardinal endeavored to give the impression that everything was going its usual course. The conversation with Vatican Insider took place on the outset of a reception in one of the courtyards of the Vatican Museums with "typical Mexican food and Mexican music".
If one reads the statements Parolin more accurately, they do not quite say what the title claims. Literally, the Secretary of State said:
Meanwhile, the next storm is already brewing. Archbishop Viganò accuses Francis of having been informed of Cardinal McCarrick's depravity and yet remaining silent. Meanwhile, Francis is accused of having said nothing on Nicaragua. It is about a similar case: a gay double life and sexual relations of a bishop with his own seminarians and subordinates.
The signs are pointing to storm, and it seems to be the "homo-heresy" that shakes up this pontificate.

On Tuesday, however, two journalists very close to the Pope reported the opposite in Avvenire, the daily newspaper of the Italian Episcopal Conference:
"Pope Francis is not sad about the Viganò letter".And further:
"The personages over of Francis's reaction to the dossier of the former nuncio demanding his resignation were denied."As in earlier moments of this pontificate, one source of the Vatican denied another, and the same immediately.
"Did the Pope seem sad on Sunday evening on the plane? I ask you …"So much for the aspect of papal affliction. On the more explosive aspect, Avenire did not deny the ANSA report on Curial Archbishop Viganò's demand for resignation. That the pope does not think of resignation corresponds to the facts.
"I'm not acting for revenge. I just want the truth to come to light."In the interview, Viganò said even more:
"I was talking because corruption has now reached the top of the Church hierarchy. Turning to the journalists, why do not they ask what has become of the document box that - we all saw it - was handed over to Pope Francis by Pope Benedict on Castel Gandolfo? Was everything in vain?"In fact, filming in March 2013 showed how the recently retired Benedict XVI. at the first meeting with Pope Francis he handed over a whole box of documents to him. At that time, the Vatican media attached great importance to showing a harmonious relationship between the two church leaders, which is why masses of pictures were distributed by both popes. It was not announced what the two discussed.
"I have seen a statement from the Vatican press office saying that the pope is calm. What I have seen (these days I was traveling with him to Ireland and beyond), he seems calm."So Parolin did not want to confirm this serenity. Next he said:
"The Pope is a great mercy, even in the face of such things that, of course, cause so much sadness and unrest. But he has an ability to be very serene."The Cardinal Secretary of State did not want to comment on the case of Archbishop Viganò:
"Compared to such things it is only possible to express the pain, great pain. I hope that we all work in search of truth and justice, that these are the points of reference of our actions and not others. Of course, the matter is by no means alarming."In response to explicit demand from Vatican Insider, the Secretary of State refused to comment on the contents of the Viganò dossier:
"It's better not to go into details about these things. I repeat what the Pope said: Read it yourself and form your judgment. The text speaks for itself. "Voices surrounding the allegations, they are very "alarming." The refusal to even attempt to refute them raises new questions. With this sentence cited by Parolin, formulated on the return flight on Sunday evening from Ireland, Francis once more followed his strategy of avoiding unpleasant questions by a non-response. The fact that the Cardinal Secretary of State has also repeated this sentence confirms how much the bomb of the Viganò dossier shakes the current pontificate. The counter-strategy is to ignore and it sit out. Ironically, this is the strategy that has been too often used by the Church to respond to sexual abuse allegations.

Hit and Run Bishop Accused of Sex Abuse
A former bishop who led the Roman Catholic church in metro Phoenix during a worldwide child sexual abuse scandal has been accused of molesting a young boy 35 years ago.
Retired Bishop Thomas O'Brien is accused in a lawsuit of sexually abusing the boy on several occasions at parishes in Phoenix and Goodyear from 1977 to 1982. The Diocese of Phoenix says O'Brien denies the allegation.
O'Brien, now 81, led the diocese in Phoenix as it became embroiled in a global scandal that rocked the Catholic church after allegations surfaced in Boston about pedophile priests going unpunished.
The bishop acknowledged in a 2003 immunity deal that he let church employees accused of sex abuse continue to have contact with children. Weeks after the deal, O'Brien resigned as bishop after he was arrested in the hit-and-run death of a pedestrian.
O'Brien's accuser says the clergyman sexually abused him when he was a child and he had suppressed his memories of it, said Tim Hale, his lawyer.
The accuser, who is now 47 and lives in the Tucson area, started having flashbacks of the abuse in September 2014 when preparing for his son's baptism into the Catholic church, Hale said.
"It has turned his life upside down," Hale said, explaining that his client has suffered profound emotional distress.
Hale said his client's allegation is being investigated by the Phoenix Police Department, which refused to comment.
The diocese issued a statement saying O'Brien denies the accusation and that he was never assigned to the schools and parishes where the abuse is alleged to have occurred. The statement also said the diocese informed prosecutors about the allegation immediately after learning of it in September 2016.
O'Brien's 2003 immunity agreement said a grand jury investigating church sex abuse allegations at the time didn't find evidence that the bishop had engaged in sexual misconduct.
Amanda Jacinto, a spokeswoman for the Maricopa County Attorney's Office, said the immunity deal will remain in place, meaning the bishop could not be prosecuted for letting church employees suspected of sex abuse be around children.
But Jacinto said the agreement would not prevent prosecutors from bringing a case against O'Brien if there's evidence that he sexually abused a child.
O'Brien, who served as Phoenix's bishop for 21 years, resigned in June 2003 after being accused of striking and killing 43-year-old Jim Reed with his car.
The bishop didn't stop to help Reed or report the accident to police but told investigators that he didn't realize he had hit a person.
He said he thought he had hit a dog or cat or that someone had thrown a rock at his car. Prosecutors said O'Brien tried to have his windshield fixed.
He was sentenced to probation and 1,000 hours of community service after being convicted of leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
John C. Kelly, an attorney representing the Diocese of Phoenix, declined to comment on the lawsuit and the allegations against O'Brien.

Swiss Pederast Dissmissed From the Clerical State -- "Father, I Forgive You"
(Berne) Mon Père, je vous pardonne ("Father, I forgive you"), is the most recent book by the Swiss Philosopher Daniel Pittet from Freiburg in Üchtland, where he elaborated his experiences, as a child for four years at the hands of his countryman, Capuchin Father Joël Allaz. The preface to the book was written by Pope Francis. Father Joël has been released from the order and dismissed from the clerical state.
"I was alone"
The book on and against the sexual abuse of children by priests, narrated in a very concrete style, has caused a great sensation because the preface was written by no less than Pope Francis. Daniel Potter is now 58 years old. At the age of 8-12, Joël Allaz, the priest of the Oratory, had Mistrewted him. "I was a child, petrified, crying bathtubs of tears, but I could not resist."
"I have forgiven him," is the message of the author. But nothing should be concealed, nothing should be denied or downplayed. It is rather about "healing these wounds" and "making a clean slate." He was a "shy and fragile" child. His family situation was broken.
"I was alone." The Capuchin Father "should have helped me and not been able to take advantage of the situation".
A great aunt finally suspected and took steps to protect the child.
"80 percent pedophiles were raped as children"
Petit, with the help of therapy, has succeedsed in leaving behind this "hell" which he has experienced. It was a long, painful path between repressing, wanting to forget and the search for his place in life. "Sometimes I wonder where I would have been today, if that had not happened to me." He has met many other people since then. It was important to help them. This is due to their human dignity, but also necessary, because otherwise there is the danger that they will do the same to others.
"80 percent of pedophiles were raped as children,"
Pittet said this in an interview with the daily La Repubblica last February. Pittet is not an accuser against the Church:
"90 per cent of the abuses occur in the family environment",
the Freiburg man knows this because of the many encounters with other victims.
Joël Allaz was transferred to France after Pittet's accusation. That was years later. Pittet then learned that the transfer had not changed him. The Capuchin abused other boys as well in the neighboring country.
"He did not apologize"
Daniel Pittet: "Father, I forgive you" appears on 18 August 2017
About a year before the publication of his book, Pittet met the man who had abused him for four years. "He looked at me. I saw his fear. But he neither apologized nor seemed to regret the suffering he had given me. "The Capuchin had also shown himself as an" egoist "at that moment and only spoke of his "suffering." Nevertheless, his victim has forgiven him: "I have seen in him a sick man who has nothing to do with my faith, which remains untouched by it. But I am fighting for the Church to break its silence and expose the pedophiles. "This is the case in Switzerland, but not yet in other countries.
Pittet entered the Benedictine Abbey of Einsiedeln. It has been "four years of happiness and healing" for him, as he says today. He recognizes, however, that he is not called to religious life. He is still looking for his place with its ups and downs:
"I had to decide whether I wanted to keep faith or not. I followed the advice of Cardinal Charles Journet, with whom I had been an altar server. if you are suffering, go to Bürglen [a place of pilgrimage in the south-east of Friburg] nine times. At the ninth time I met a girl in the chapel who was crying. I have entrusted her to the Mother of God and have chosen me for faith."
He has became active in the prayer apostolate, until after a few years his past arose in him. He turned to a canonist at his home diocese and was heard. In fact, something happened. The Order sent the Capuchin to France and declared that he would be treated and no longer have contact with children. In 2002 Pittet had come to realize that this was not true.
"The pope had tears in his eyes"
Pope Francis had met Daniel Pittet in 2015 when he introduced him to another book written by him.
"He asked me, 'Where do you get the strength, for your missionary spirit?' He was never satisfied with my answer. Finally, I told him: Holy Father, I was abused by a priest. He looked at me dumbly and with tears in his eyes and hugged me."
The Pope urged him to testify about this in a book and wrote the preface.
"Strong and courageous words of condemnation against pedophilia and silence that kills," the author said.
It took the preface of Pope Francis, so that something was finally done about Joel Allaz. The Swiss Capuchin Province announced last Friday, June 23rd that Joël Allaz was released from his solemn vows by decision of the Roman Congregation of the Congregation of Faith of May 20th, and was released from the clerical state. In other words, Joël Allaz, meanwhile 76 years old, was suspended and expelled from the Capuchin Order. The statement also states:
"The Capuchins, however, are not simply throwing J. Allaz, who has become sick and frail, in the street. According to the claims of the Gospel, which demands justice and mercy, the Order still grants him shelter in one of their houses."
On 18 August 2017 the book has appeared under the title "Father, I forgive you! Abused, but not broken" in Herder-Verlag in its German edition.

Swedish TV Documntary: SSPX Resistance is Hiding Sexual Predators
Edit: this is a documentary by SVT, Swedish TV. They make no bones about their hatred of the Catholic Church, but the claims made about two deviant priests are undoubtedly true. We figured we'd post this here, since you're likely to hear about it elsewhere sooner or later.
The first part of the documentary is a lacrymose revisiting of their sensational hit piece on Bishop Williamson which caused a firestorm of controversy as Pope Benedict XVI attempted to reconcile with the Society in 2009. These Swedish secularists don't hide their essential hostility to the Catholic Faith, especially as it's embodied by the Society.
Fortunately, the journalist, Ali Fegan, admits that the accused priests Father P. and Father M. were exiled to a monastery, which they subsequently left, (if they ever went) to join Bishop Williamson's "Resistance" where they appear to have made a clean slate of their past sins and Father P., at least, who has admitted to his sins, is now doing parish work where he has access to young boys.
It's unfortunate that the SSPX took so long to finally get a handle on this problem with respect to these two priests. Don't they know that such monsters are irredeemable and should be condemned to prison?
We also have to ask: When are they going to do a story about the rampant sexual abuse in their own back yard with respect to their immigrant population? Or how Swedish elites engage in sex tourism? At least the Society dealt with their problem and sought help from the CDF.
The video can be accessed here:

Billy Goat and Gardener: Pedophile Friend as Lecturer at Pontifical Center for Child Protection
By Ferdinand Boischot
In the last 50 years, the Catholic Church has been devastated by a huge wave of pedophile and ephebophilic abuse by Church employees and dignitaries.
For a long time, and very intensely, incredible abominations have been committed, which are in total contrast to the words of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Particularly deplorable is the embedding of the perpetrators into large networks and the protection of the perpetrators by obstruction on many levels of the Church hierarchy.
As early as 1995, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, then under the leadership of Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, had been very courageous and persistently prosecuted these atrocities and called for punishment.
After his election to the Papacy, Benedict XVI. was not infrequently sabotaged in this line by well-known bishops, cardinals, and bishops' conferences.
Under Pope Francis, dealing with the problem of pedophile offenders in the Church has fundamentally changed:
-Few and resolute statements, on the one hand, and a very different approach to pedophile offenders, where Pope Francis, apparently, personally chooses to employ perpetrators in pastoral situations (Don Mercedes case), and intervenes with the personnel of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. He intervenes in such cases, if sympathetic shepherds are being prosecuted.
Patrick Degrieck as a speaker at the Center for Child Protection in Rome [Photo]
In December 2014, the CCP (Center for Child Protection) was established on the personal initiative of Pope Francis at the Pontifical University of the Gregoriana to study this problem. The director was the Austrian Jesuit and psychologist Hans Zollner SJ.
On March 9, 2017 the Gregoriana reported on two lectures held a few days earlier by Prof. Karlijn Demasure from the University of Louvain and F (ather) Patrick Degrieck from the Diocese of Bruges and a member of the Belgian Research Commission Bishops.
Belgium, and particularly the Flemish North, suffered particularly severely from pedophile atrocities.
The so-called "Catholic" University of Leuven has not done anything for decades, but has supported the pedophile-tolerating line of Cardinal Danneels (until 2010 Archbishop of Mechelen-Brussels), produced totally dissipated catechesis and religious studies books, and a broad and loud campaign against Pope Benedict XVI. And Archbishop Monsignor Léonard (the successor of Danneels, was appointed by Benedict XVI).
In the end of 2014, the Religious Science Department stupidly had a lot of sermons and statements from the pedophile bishop of Bruges, Roger Vangheluwe, on their website, Thomas (which was still present more than four and a half years after his unmasking).
With the priest Patrick Degrieck, a noted pedophile friend and supporter has managed to speak before a large public at the Child Protection Center CCP.
Patrick Degrieck and Tom Flavez
On October 27, 2014, the Kerknet site, which belongs to the bishops of north Belgium, reported that the then Bishop of Bruges, Jozef De Kesel, assigned Tom Flavez as a pastor in the West Flemish coastal community of Middelkerke.
Immediately a tremendous turmoil ensued. The population protested massively, the (liberal) mayoress and the council unleashed the storm and the restaurant and hotel sector and went to the barricades: it was apparent that T.F. was a convicted pedophile.
However, Bishop De Kesel remained stubborn. He said that "... everyone deserves a second chance ... He [De Kesel] made this decision after careful consideration and with the support of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. The bishop will not change his decision." The latter is extremely rare for the otherwise not very brave De Kesel).
Within 48 hours it was discovered that T.F. had repeatedly relapsed. Despite all the conditions, he had always had dealings with children, liked to be photographed and posed everywhere in churches' websites.
On the 31st of October, in the morning, Kerknet was informed that "... the bishop (De Kesel) has to withdraw the applicant from nomination."
Vangheluwe's shadow
In the following weeks, the bomb detonated of a number of uncovered pedophile rapists in the Diocese of Bruges. The bishops De Kesel and Bonny (Antwerp) were summoned before Parliament and "grilled".
It soon became apparent that both Tom Flavez and Patrick Degrieck had been ordained priests by the pedophile Bishop of Bruges, Roger Vangheluwe, and knew this very well. Tom Flavez was the only one tohelp Vangheluwe move from the episcopal palace in Bruges in 2010. According to reliable testimonies, Flavez and Degrieck never missed his birthday without a visit and a small present.
Patrick Degrieck studied 1986-1989 theology and canon law in the University of Leuven. From 1989 to 1997 he was a priest-teacher at H. Hartcollege in Waregem (which was also A school affected by abuse). Since then he has been a Church jurist in Bruges (now also in Antwerp with Bishop Bonny) and professor of Holy Scripture at the priestly seminary in Bruges.
Degrieck was very practical and clever as a church jurist in 2013-2014, responsible for the case of his pedophile friend T.F., apparently supplying incomplete documents to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith in order to get a favorable assessment.
The fact that Bishop De Kesel tried to unload his own serious mistakes on the back of Cardinal Prefect Gerhard Müller made the case even more shabby.
As a result, Tom Flavez had to vacate his apartment in the Ordinariat and continued "with an unknown occupation." He was caught up by his old comrade Patrick Degrieck in the convent of Our Lady of Sorrows in Ruiselede, not far from Bruges, where Degrieck (not laughing) became a "spiritual director."
Patrick Degriek in the CCP |
Degrieck, incidentally, was in the immediate phase after the break-up of the Vangheluwe affair and the (hesitant)investigator of the sex scandal of the Church jurist and the bishops' expert in the inner-Church "Andriessen's Investigation Commission."
In November 2010 an interview with Degrieck, deeply disturbing by the oily tone and the hypocritical content, was published in the magazine Het Teken, 83rd edition, no.5 (Nov. 2010) - notabene interviewed by Doenja van Belleghem, then director of a "Roger Vangheluwe support group".
The many crimes, deceptions and cover-ups, embedded in a pedophile, ephebo, and homophilic swamp of the local clergy, were extensively documented and analyzed at www.kavlaanderen.blogspot.be (keyword: Crisis in de Kerk ... hoezo?).
The press reported in part very thoroughly.
De Kesel, Flavez and Degrieck were badly burned.
Patrick Degrieck at the CCP
Bishop De Kesel's position in Bruges had become untenable. Not more than a year later he was called to take over the Archdiocese of Mechelen-Brussels.
It took a very long time for a new bishop to be appointed, by the way, from East Flanders (Ghent), which is not involved in the West Flemish problems.
Pope Francis, known for his personal preferences, appointed Jozef De Kesel as Archbishop of Mechelen-Brussels in spite of all the mistakes and concealments, and made him a cardinal (which he denied to the dedicated advocate for the right to life and to combat abuse in the Church, Bishop Léonard).
Billy Goat and Gardner
Since the end of 2014 Degrieck has hardly been able to do anything in Belgium.
To this end, he gave a lecture in Rome in 2017 before the Pontifical Center for the Protection of Children, and the topic "Secondary Victims".
He is a well-known specialist in the field of cover-up and embodiment of these vile deeds, and as a highlight also of the victims' offenses: considering the perpetrators as "also victims" (sic Danneels), and probably their own impulses.
Psychiatrically this is well known: denial - displacement - sublimation by association with the victims - absorption.
The perpetrators themselves give themselves absolution.
Widely and well known. Zero Consequences.
And now also with access to the highest channels of the Church in Rome.

Sexual Abuse Claims Shake the Anglican Church in Australia
(Brisbane) The Anglican Church of Australia is overloaded with accusations of sexual child abuse. A total of 1084 charges have so far been received. According to media reports, 75 percent of the victims are eleven-year-old boys.
The cases take place in the period 1980-2015. The data emerge from the report by the Royal Commission on Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, which was established by the State in 2013.
569 alleged perpetrators are identified. 247 of these are pastors, 285 laymen, and 37 are lacking a precise classification. 94 percent of the perpetrators are men.
The Anglican Archbishop, Philip Freier, expressed his "consternation" about the revelations of the commission of inquiry. "We are deeply ashamed," says Freier.
In recent years the Catholic Church in Australia had been shaken by sexual abuse.
"The scandal in the Anglican Church is no cause for schadenfreude because it has caught others this time. The case, however, confirms that sexual abuse of children is not a specific feature of the Catholic Church, as some have shown. Not to mention sports clubs and certain secular children's and youth groups," said Francisco Fernandez de la Cigoña.

Pope Bergoglio's Double Standard in Pederasty Cases
(Rome) What does Pope Francis mean in the sexual abuse of minors by priests: zero tolerance or double standards?
Cardinal Gerhard Mueller, Prefect of the Congregation for the Congregation of the Faith, called for a clear line in an interview published yesterday by La Repubblica: "Zero tolerance for pedophile priests. The bishops are to force them to self-report. "
Only the day before, Nicole Winfield, associate press correspondent from the Vatican, reported that Pope Francis, on the other hand, had a double standard in the matter of pedophile priests.
Officially zero tolerance, in fact "the exact opposite"?
Officially "zero tolerance" is demanded and thus spread by the media. "Quite apart from the radar, things are diametrically opposed," says Secretum meum mihi. Whoever among the pederasts has "friends" among the Roman Curia, who are close to the Pope, has good prospects to get off easily.
The key to the two dimensions that Pope Francis uses is "mercy." In this context, Nicole Winfield refers to the dismissal of Cardinal Müller's three close associates at the CDF. Two of these were directly concerned with the cases of pedophile priests and their punishment. An accident? If one follows the statements of Winfield, then not.
According to the Vatican, Pope Francis "quietly reduced the punishments against a number of priests" who had been condemned by the Congregation for Religious responsible for serious offenses for the sexual abuse of minors. The Pope turned to "his vision of a merciful Church," according to Winfield.
"Don Mercedes" and the friends of the pope
The correspondent mentions the case of Don Mercedes. The Italian priest had been found guilty by the Congregation of Doctrine and the Faith, but had been pardoned by Pope Francis. Don Mercedes, aka Mauro Inzoli, found a new young victim in this way, and was now condemned by an Italian criminal court. As AP reported, a new Church law procedure is already pending against Don Mercedes.
The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith considered the suspension of his priesthood. He should be condemned to a life of repentance, prayer, and silence and no longer be allowed to exercise his priesthood. Don Mercedes, however, had good relations with the Roman Curia, those who were close to the Pope.
Pope Francis is known to persecute opponents, but not to let friends fall, nor the friends of his friends. Under Pope Benedict XVI, there was actual zero tolerance. Between 2005 and 2013, 800 priests were sentenced and deprived of their ministry. Petitions for pardon were only granted in the rarest cases and after careful examination.
Were Dismissed Figures in the Congregation in the Way?
Winfield cited the removal of the three members of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, two of whom had to return to their home diocese at the end of 2016, who were directly linked to the sanctions against pedophile priests. The employees were directly involved in the prosecution of pedophile priests. Was the "zero tolerance" undermined by their removal because they were not receptive to "friendships"? Their dismissal had been ordered directly by Pope Francis. Cardinal Müller tried to defend them against it. The Pope told him Directly: Who has the say! The third dismissed must vacate his Office as of 31 March.
Pope John Paul II was criticized for being too slow in the prosecution of pedophile priests. However, it was at that time the necessary sensitivity for the subject arose. Today, the Church is a pioneer among all institutions in the fight against sexual abuse. Pope Benedict XVI, who was serious about zero tolerance, was nevertheless heavily beaten by mainstream media. Towards the end of his term, church-factional groups wanted to drag him to an international court because of pedophile priests. At the same time, the Church under his leadership made serious, more than any secular association, than left-wing experimental education projects and secular sports clubs have shown. Even then, observers spoke of a mere pretext for damaging a displeased pope.
This presumption seems to be a new affirmation: Pope Francis, who, in contrast to his two predecessors, who appears to have a double standard, has so far been treated with velvet gloves in the case of pedophile priests.

Untouchable Hippie Priest In Deep With "Gay Subculture" Where Sexual Abuse Was Common
Edit: the following is part of an exchange where the heretical and disobedient pastor of St. Frances Cabrini church in Minneapolis insults his Archbishop and publishes their correspondence on his blog rather than address the liturgical abuses. Father Michael Tegeder has been reprimanded for having laymen give sermons before, invoking pagan gods or worshipping rocks, or lecturing the Archbishop on sexual abuse.
He'll probably keep his job.
We'll also recall that Tegeder hasn't held his alma mater, St. John's University and Abbey in Collegeville to the same standard he holds Nienstedt.
When Tegeder was at St. John's, he was pretty familiar with the "gay subculture" there. Did he know about the sexual abuse that's been all too frequent there too? From the City Pages article:
He shares stories, stories beyond those bag boys, those fag-beaters. He talks about the gay subculture he saw when he was a student at St. John's, shared between teachers and students alike. [Many of whom were preying on their oftentimes minor students.] He mentions that one of those students had to move to New York to find some acceptance, only to be murdered in a Manhattan bar by another man looking to beat some fags. [Or maybe it was a drug deal gone bad?]
Did Tegeder cover for Deacon Joseph Damiani when the two worked together at St. Kateri's as presiders over a pagan "Indian" ceremony? Damiani is currently suspended by the Archdiocese, and the lawsuit he filed against his nephews and their countersuit were settled out of court.
Here's Tegeder's blog entry. We're going to post it before it disappears. How does he get away with this?

DOING SOMETHING RIGHT Early in my ministry I had a wise pastor who said that if you do not occasionally get some flak you probably are not doing something right. I occasionally take some flak, not that this necessarily means I am doing something right, but sometimes, as Jesus said to the young man who responded from his heart, I may not be too far from the reign of God.
This came to mind with the following letter that I received from our local Ordinary:
Dear Father,
I am in receipt of a communication from a gentleman presently living in Texas, who was visiting his mother recently in Minneapolis and attended Mass at St. Francis [sic] Cabrini on the Feast of the Assumption with his son. He made the following observations:
1) The homily was provided by a lay person.
2) The content of the homily struck him as problematic. At one point the woman preacher said something to the effect that: "The centuries' old theological debates surrounding whether Mary was or was not assumed into heaven are not really important today."
3) The Eucharist was confected using leavened bread.
4) The sacred vessels used were stoneware.
He added, "Sadly these deviations were extremely distracting. Normally the moment before communion is a very peaceful time. However, I felt that my rights as a Catholic as well as those of my son, were being violated. Given my state of mind, I refrained from receiving Our Lord. I received a blessing from the presiding priest who gave the following blessing: "You are the Body of Christ." I'm not sure this is an appropriate blessing or what message it is meant to impart--especially as a blessing tied to the reception of the Eucharist."
As is my policy, I write to ask you to respond to these concerns that the writer raises, seemingly in good faith.
With every good wish, I remain…
Here is my response:
Dear Archbishop John
I was not the presiding priest nor was I present on the said occasion. However, I take full responsibility for it, something all church leaders should consider doing. By the way, your public condemnation of Father ______ ______'s "crimes" was a good example of not taking responsibility. Your violation of respect for due process owed Father _______ was stunning.
Regarding the actual communication I would have to say that things must be pretty good in Texas if this poor soul was "extremely distracted" by the things that he relates. I would have referred this troubled Texan to the wise advice of Pope Francis who calls the church to stop obsessing about "small minded rules."
But what is most amazing to me is that with the concerns in the Archdiocese these days you would take the time to relay such concerns from a complete stranger. What did Jesus say about the splinter in your brother's eye?
He and you seem so concerned about his so called rights as a Catholic being violated. I am more concerned about children being violated under your watch. You still owe us an explanation for your decisions involving Wehmeyer.
As it turns out, the Sunday after I received this letter, the gospel reading was about handling differences in the church. Jesus says first of all go to the person and work it out. He says nothing about first reporting back to the local ordinary. If the man wants to discuss his issues please give him my address.
I do have a concern over his state of mind as I do for yours. Indeed, I do not see how you can continue in your position. It cannot be good for you. Even Cardinal Burke has apparently seen the light and is moving on.
I will continue to pray for you.
shalom,

Salvatorians Host NAMBLA Supporter in Their Ranks
We received this months ago, and haven't heard anything from the Salvatorians about whether or not they were going to do anything about it. Their superior was very defensive. One thing that's evident to anyone who's studied this phenomenon for long is that these people never give up, but they have help.
Here's a brief history of the order from wiki. We can't imagine the founder would be happy about the way his order has been hijacked: The term Salvatorians refers to members of three religious communities: the Congregation of the Sisters of the Divine Saviour, the Lay Salvatorians, and the Society of the Divine Saviour (Latin: Societas Divini Salvatoris), a Roman Catholic religious institute composed of priests, religious brothers, and seminarians. The Society was founded by Father John Baptist Jordan in Rome on December 8, 1881. As of December 2010 the Society of the Divine Saviour numbers 1,127 members and works in 40 countries around the world. Salvatorians use the post-nominal letters "SDS".
Four years ago, there was a story going around Traditionalist Catholic Blogs, including this one, concerning a novice candidate for the priesthood within the Jesuit Order. It also appeared on some of the more high profile blogs, like the pusillanimous Catholic and Enjoying It, which promptly repented for exposing the story after a flurry of criticism from the sorts of individuals it represents.
The problem person is Cormac Brisssett. Mr. Brissett has a highly questionable past, which the Jesuits either ignored or turned a blind eye to it. He had endorsed the North American Man Boy Love Association (NAMBLA). While attending the University of Minnesota, he signed two petitions that were a matter of public record. One of these petitions (which was a flyer distributed throughout the University of Minnesota concerning the rights of "gay" and/or closeted men to engage in public restroom sex without fear of reprisal from law enforcement.
Some wonder why there's a problem with sex abuse in the Catholic Church. A lot of it has to do with the media. Obviously, the media isn't interested in Liberal moribund religious orders doing due diligence. They want to swoop down and exploit the abuse when and if it happens, and create the impression of a global problem, a global problem not only with Catholicism, but religious belief itself.
There are a few individuals who are spirited into the organization who are apparently untouchable. We can't imagine that if Mr. Brissett were as devoted to Catholicism and the traditional Mass of All Ages as he is to deviant sexual inclinations, that he would have a home with the Salvatorians for long.
The petition is still apparent on-line, here.
The other petition signed, was a public letter stating that NAMBLA should be allowed to march in a gay pride parade.
Both of these documents included the name David Thorstad, the founder of NAMBLA.
Mr. Brissett left the Jesuits where he was already helping "at risk" youth in Chicago's Boy's Town area.
Seeking to be of service to young boys at risk, Cormac Brissett is trying his hand with another order, the Salvatorians.
Since being asked about their new novice the Salvatorians have taken down any information about Mr. Brisette and have refused to give any information as to his current status. Nor have they explained why someone with Cormac's associations, both current and present, why he would want to be involved with children. Wouldn't it be better if he joined a contemplative order, where he had a more humble job if he feels he has a serious vocation? Why does anyone, especially someone who has a past wrapped up in promoting sexuality between adults and children, want to be involved with them. Even more pressing, why would people in positions of authority want someone like that in their order, representing that order, and having contact with children?
We managed to save Mr. Brissett's bio from the Salvatorian's homepage where he professes his admiration for the depraved NAMBLA member Allan Ginsberg and another deviant, David Sederis. Even if his activism on behalf of pederasty weren't evident (He gave an interview with famed novelist and pederasty advocate Edmund White, where the latter outlined the historical scope of such things, while endorsing them). And he's concerned about human trafficking? Like Oscar Wilde's penchant for underage male prostitutes? For someone who claims to have a religious vocation, he surely is worldly. We'd say a religious vocation is more centered on a craving to cause scandal. For he is clearly an advocate of aberrosexual activism, which also doesn't bother his superiors:
