Exile of Father Lanzetta of Franciscans of Immaculate At End

(London) Father Serafino Lanzetta, one of the most brilliant minds of the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate, has been appointed the parish priest of Saint Mary in Gosport, England. For the last few weeks he has been already in place and has begun to make a biritual of a  New Rite parish. The end of his exile coincided with the agony and  death of Commissioner Volpi.[God rest his soul]
Father Lanzetta was among the first victims of the provisional administration of the until recently thriving Order. By August 11, 2013 he and all the priests of the Order had been banned from celebration of  the traditional rite  of the Holy Mass by  the Congregation for Religious. At the same time the Capuchin Father Fidenzio Volpi took control as Apostolic Commissioner of the Order.

Florence Tyrol to England

With the beginning of autumn 2013, all the leading figures of the Order were dismissed from  their offices  and relieved of their duties. Father Lanzetta, then pastor of Ognissanti in Florence had to leave his parish on 4 October.  Due to bureaucratic difficulties he received a grace period  until October 21. While others were exiled to Latin America, Africa or Asia, his place of exile was the only monastery of the Order in the German-speaking world.
Since then, he had  lead a reclusive life in the monastery Kitzbühel in Tyrol. He took advantage of this time to complete his doctoral studies.  His thesis was supervised by the famous German dogmatist and Mariologist Manfred Hauke  "Il Vaticano II, un Concilio Pastoral" (Vatican II, a Pastoral Council. Hermeneutics of Council Teachings) was approved at theTheological Faculty of Lugano  in Switzerland.
How it is this religious priest, who worked in Italy, is led to England to say the traditional Rite,  is not known, but the news gratifying yet in any case.
Parish journal of St. Mary, Gosport from June 28, 2015

Building a Biritual Parish

According to website of the Diocese of Portsmouth in southern England, Father Lanzetta is to officially assume his pastorate on  September 8  on the Feast of the Nativity of Mary. In fact, it has been already since the feast of Corpus Christi that he is already filling his new place of work and the duties of the parish priest. In parish journal of Gosport he is already listed as such.
The parish of Gosport is run by Franciscans of the Immaculate under the guidance of Father Lanzetta since  a few weeks ago. The parish also hosts a branch of the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate.
The current parish journal informs that starting next week at the St. Mary's Church, Holy Mass will be celebrated from Monday to Friday at 7 o'clock in the morning and on Saturday at 9:30 o'clock in the extraordinary [sic] form of the Roman Rite: "All are invited to attend".  A Sunday Mass in the old rite is not provided, but that seems to be only be a matter of time.
Father Lanzetta also offers a weekly introduction to the traditional form of the Mass, which intends to make a transiction of the birituelle parish to the neurituellen parish.

Gomorrists, Atheists, Abortionists Can Advertise in England, but Not Christians

(London) Whether atheists, abortion lobbyists or militant homosexual organizations, they can advertise in England they want. Except those who oppose the Gomorrah agenda. The municipal company that is responsible for public transport in London, won't allow the Bus Campaign to accept a Christian organization. The Christian Association draws attention to the possibility that there is also a life without homosexuality and that for those affected a withdrawal from homosexuality is possible.

The municipal transport company is otherwise not squeamish in the adoption of advertising contracts. In 2008, the first anti-Christian campaign was advertised on the famous red London double-decker bus. The slogan was: "There's probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life." The atheists and pedophile promoters have mimicked his approach. Various Christian communities and parishes protested against the Atheist Bus Campaign also referring to the fact that it is discriminatory and disrespectful. Unsuccessful.

TV advertising for abortion

Since then a lot has changed. For the worse. 2010, the first TV commercial was aired in England, advertising for the killing of unborn children: "Are you late," a voice said and urged pregnant women to turn to the abortion clinics of the abortion lobbyists Marie Stopes International.

The Christians were protesting again. Especially the Catholic Bishops' Conference of England and Wales: "Abortion is not a consumer service. Such advertising corrupts the respect for life and is highly detrimental to women. "The result? The ad ran on. The television station justified the commercial as a form of social commitment to "combat the taboo of abortion."

Six months ago, there was another bus Campaign, this time to apply for homosexuality. The action came from Stonewall and ran under the heading "Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Charity". This time the saying was: "Some people are gay. Get over it!" On the red buses and the British were to be happy about it. The saying propagates a false tolerance, but contained nothing offensive. In October theCore Issues Trust, a Christian organization to support homosexuals who want to come out of homosexuality, was also to start a bus Campaign. But in this case the Transport for London (TFL), from the Society for the London public transport, rejected it. Christians have recently asked, "Why can the GLBT express their opinion, but we can not?" The managing director of Core Issues Trust, Mike Davidson, filed a complaint on the grounds of manifest disadvantage and discrimination. Davidson requested in a petition for the immediate suspension of the homo-advertising by Stonewall since there is not presently a final judgment.

Therapists expelled from professional association - will soon be behind bars?

Davidson himself was formerly a militant gay activist. By Christian faith, he recognized homosexuality as immoral and found the exit. Today, he helps other people to get out of homosexuality. For this purpose he founded Core Issues Trust. The militant gay organizations do not speak well of Davidson since his departure. The Spiegel, which he holds as part of the homo lobby, can not bear it. Davidson has been accused of homophobia, a slogan which is to prevent any discussion and is used by Gomorrah militants as an instrument of character assassination against critics.

The persecution against unpopular opinions is relentless. Davidson, a renowned psychotherapist once unhesitatingly recommend for the acceptance of homosexuality. This was not a problem. Since it became known that he considers homosexuality a sexual behavior disorder, he was expelled from the Professional Association of Psychotherapists. Although it does not appear that anyone had objected to his activities.

The same fate now threatens the doctor and psychotherapist Leslie Pilkington. The Professional Association of British psychotherapists has initiated proceedings against them. A journalist who did not reveal herself as such, but as "a Christian and a homosexual," by which she asked for "help" to get out of homosexuality. He recorded the conversation secretly and published it. The conversation was serious and businesslike. But the fact that someone was being helped from homosexuality, is a scandal for the Professional Association of Psychotherapists. For homosexuality can be, according to some ideologues, only be silent about or promoted. There is no third way. [Actually, you can be punished just for being silent.]

Only in those days would Healing on the Streets (host), a Christian organization that recommends prayer as therapy, be asked to remove their advertising posters from the walls of houses with which they advertise to their concerns.

Cabby With English Flag: State Accuses Him of Discrimination Against Minorities.

Correction: The cabby's name is Denise, and is female. Thanks
(London) The District Council accused  Denis Said of violating the Equal Opportunity Act. So that foreign customers do not feel "offended": "Crazy England!" The taxi driver risks losing his license. He has namely dared to put  a sticker on his taxi  a  in the size of 10 x 15 centimeters with the English flag, with the words "Local Driver" displayed. The discrimination lies in the words and above all in the cross, because the English flag has the Cross of St. George, a red cross on a white background.
The 56-year-old Denis Said moved to Newton Abbot, a city in the county of Devon, where he has been a cabby for 16 years. Now he was been cited by the city council for discrimination: "In this particular case the English flag and the words, "Local Driver" penalize 'those in their daily lives, who don't identify with either of the two elements."  This outrageous statement was made by Teignbridge District Council of Devon, who also stated: "We want to ensure all appropriate services by applying the Equality Act of 2010 in order to protect all cultures in our society."

A Controversial Law

Said would have violated the Equality Act, according to public administration,   which  outlaws all state, political, religious or identity-symbols since 2010. Because of this law, employees have already been discharged from public service because they were wearing a cross around his neck. Likewise, Catholic adoption agencies were closed down because they refused to distribute children to homosexuals.
A law that was intended to protect minorities from discrimination, discriminates in fact any identity, starting with the native English identity. According to the Equality Act of 2010 one may be British anywhere in the world, but not English in England. A national, local culture or even a dominant culture is explicitly punishable as provided by law.
The authorities have determined  accordingly: If Denis Said does not remove the English flag from his car, the license for his taxi cab  will not be renewed next February. The English taxi driver has said, to no avail, that  he was assured that he had never heard a complaint from anyone. The withdrawal of the license would be a death warrant for him, as it is Said's only source of income.

Political Bypass or Selective Destruction of Identity?

In his petition against the decision, Said argued that in showing the English flag, there was nothing offensive: "The Council assumed that I was a racist just because I display the flag of my country. That is simply not true. I'm English and I'm a rider from the area here, which, after all, says something in a taxi company, right? Where is the problem? I do not discriminate against anyone who gets into my car, but drive him to where he wants to go up. "
He hasn't even had many foreign passengers in his area. Since the decision, however, he asks his foreign passengers if they would feel insulted or attacked by the English flag and the words "Local Driver". "Nobody felt offended in the slightest. They were downright amazed at my question. One even said to me, 'Your country has gone mad.' "

UK Priest Turns Church Into Profane Hall

"When we enter ornate and clean Basilicas, adorned with crosses, sacred images, altars, and burning lamps, we most easily conceive devotion. But, on the other hand, when we enter the temples of the heretics, where there is nothing except a chair for preaching and a wooden table for making a meal, we feel ourselves to be entering a profane hall and not the house of God" -St. Robert Bellarmine (Octava Controversia Generalis, liber II, Controversia Quinta, caput XXXI).
An Anglican So Broad He's Completely Flat

Edit: Jesus might have attended festivities and cheered sinful guests in an edifying way, but he didn't turn the Holy of Holies into a beer garden.  The same priest has used a bar for Mass last year.

Thousands of real ale lovers are being welcomed into an East Yorkshire church for a beer festival.
The Hull Real Ale and Cider Festival is being held at Holy Trinity Church, in the city centre, for the first time.
Pioneer minister the Reverend Matt Woodcock said he thought it was the kind of event Jesus would have enjoyed.

Muslims Launch Anti-Christmas Campaign

Edit: Muslims haven't changed. They're unmoved by political correctness and pluralism, but they understand how it works and they're willing to exploit political correctness and the the Secular West's present hostility to Christianity for their advantage.

Invariably, someone will claim that this is a false flag operation.

[Daily Mail] Fanatics from a banned Islamic hate group have launched a nationwide poster campaign denouncing Christmas as evil.

Organisers plan to put up thousands of placards around the UK claiming the season of goodwill is responsible for rape, teenage pregnancies, abortion, promiscuity, crime and paedophilia.

They hope the campaign will help 'destroy Christmas' in this country and lead to Britons converting to Islam instead.

Church in England to be restored by Catholic priests dedicated to Latin Masss, says Spero News [sic]

Editor: We heard earlier how Muslims are trying to occupy churches abandoned by the effete and ineffective types who generally control the Church in France. It's not like Muslims harass women or anything. We did see an SSPX priest take over a French parish in 1977, why not? Now we're hearing about a different kind of occupation taking place in blighty. It's as if the tabletistas have finally acquiesced to superior and more virile claims of authenticity.

The Catholic Diocese of Shrewsbury, England, is in negotiations with the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest – a Catholic order that propagates the Latin Mass - to re-open a landmark church in the borough of Wirral. Located in northwest England along the Mersey River and adjacent to Wales, the church of Ss Peter and Paul's in New Brighton was closed by the Diocese of Shrewsbury in 2008 because it was deemed too large and expensive for its congregation. However, its side chapel was recently reopened to the public after a local campaign.

Now the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest, a group which has experience of reopening churches, has expressed an interest in the site. Based near Florence, Italy, the order boasts approximately 70 priests and mainly concentrates on missionary work by running parishes and schools in 12 different countries.

Still More Hundreds of Anglicans Will be Catholic by Easter

Hallelujah -- More Hundreds of Anglicans Will be Catholic this Easter

Around 20 priests and 600 laity are entering into the newly structured Peronal Ordinariat "Our Lady of Walsingham".

LLondon (kath.net/KAP)In Great Britain, beginning this Ash Wednesday, there are in total 33 large groups of Anglicans which will make the step to cross over to the Catholic Church in Easter.  It is consists of around 20 Priests 600 Laity, which  will enter the newly structured Catholic Personal Ordinariat "Our Lady of Walsingham", according to the Italian Catholic News Agency 'SIR' this Tuesday.  After additional weeks of preparation the converts could receive the Sacrament of Confirmation by Easter Sunday or Holy Thursday in the Catholic Church.  The first priestly ordination for the new Ordinariat should fall on Pentecost.

The Vatican decree of 2009 "Anglicanorum coetibus" made a church structure, created to enable  Anglicans who wanted to come over. They allow the converts the maintenance of a series of Anglican Traditions.  In the middle of January 2011 the first Personal Ordinariat was erected and the earlier Anglican Bishop Keith Newton was named as its leader.  Further Ordinariats could be erected next in the USA, in Canada and Australia, according to Rome.

The Vatican has repeatedly explained that the new structures will not disturb the ecumenical dialog between Catholics and Anglicans.  It does not constitute active wooing away of members of other churches; in any case one wants persons, who for their part, are seeking a new spiritual home.

French Benedictine Sisters Top Pop Charts in UK

New Gregorian-CD of Benedictines from Avignon is on the English Top 15 List -- The Gregorian Choir Speaks "to the Soul".

Paris (kath.net) The French Benedictines of Notre Dame de l'Annonciation of Avignon have made a CD with their Gregorian songs and have stormed the UK Top 15 of the British charts.  The album reflects with the songs to profession of the withdrawn lives of the Sisters:  "The Gregorian Choir helps us to draw completely close to the Lord God.  He doesn't speak to the senses, rather to the soul", explained a Sister to nanoo.com. In the internet commentary of a Youtube-blogger girl said of the music:  "that is so beautiful... I don't know anything about God, but Catholics make such wonderful music!"

The Community of the Benedictine Sisters of Notre Dame de l'Annonciation was founded in  1979 and has its home in Le Barroux, in the vicinity of France's province of Avignon.  The Sisters lead a furtive, withdrawn life devoted to prayer and work.  Their sung prayers have finally become known outside the borders of France as they have signed a record contract with Decca in London.  Now a chart success is the result.

UK's Legal System Falls Further into Decay

In the Passion, Pontius Pilate offers the crowd a choice to set Christ free, who is innocent, or Barrabas free who was a murderer. The crowd chooses to release Barrabas instead, who then goes free while Christ is sentenced to death.

More recently, the telegraph show a video made by John Hirst, a man convicted for chopping his landlady to pieces with an axe, celebrated the decision in England to allow convicted felons, that is,, murderers, rapists, pedophiles, arsonists and so on the right to vote. His delight was fueled by enjoying a bottle of champagne and a marijuana cigarette. He seemed particularly enthused about the fact that these evil men would be free to exercise their voting rights, as if by some additional madness all the prisons were opened and these men suddenly belched forth from the prisons where they were kept to spread their wickedness through the world unhindered by walls and bars.

It's difficult not to see the parallels between these two events, or the diabolical nature of Mr. Hirst's glee as he ridicules the well-to-do politicians who tried to keep himself and his fellow felons from voting. So, once again, as it was in the time of Jesus Christ, it is democracy at work.

Polish Priest in Germany, Suicide, Left for Months in Apartment

Editor: from a previous week's posting at Kreuz.net. There is still no word on the background of this strange case, why the priest killed himself, or why he was released from his position from the parish or why he didn't find other employment.

At the beginning of January a Polish clergyman living in Germany killed himself. No one noticed that he went missing.

(kreuz.net, Duisberg) For a month long the body of the priest lay in his home in the neighborhood of Walsum and rotted. This was according to the site 'The Westen'.

On the 13th of August ordered the eviction of the residence.

The clergyman, Father David Zerlass (53), had not paid any rent for months and had not responded to any bills.

The already mumified remains of the priest were discovered during eviction.

For years without an engagement or work

From 2001 to 2005 the Polish native worked in the parish of St. Joseph in Walsum in the Diocese of Munster.

Prior to that he worked five years in the city of "Werne an der Lippe".

After ten years in Germany the priest received no more assignments. Otherwise he could have received a position in Warsaw.

He rather chose to live in his home in the parish of St. Joseph.

The priest ceased contact with the Church: "He had always said, he had nothing to discuss" -- explained his predecessor, Pastor Walter Gross of St. Josef.

It remains unclear, how the dead priest earned his living.

A secluded and tight-lipped neighbor

This afternoon the police explained to 'The Westen', that the Priest had killed himself.

From the expiration dates on the food the police discerned that the priest had taken his life already in January.

He is said to be "a nice, but anything but a talkative person." -- explained 'Der Westen'.

England: Prayer Marathon For the Pope

Many people in England have decided to undertake a great project, to prepare for the Pope's visit with prayer.

London [kath.net] Bad premonitions and threats against the upcoming papal visit have proven enough on the English side: some want to make provocative gifts to him like imprisonment or law suits.

But there is naturally also another side of joyful expectation for Benedict, as Radio Vatican reports. Many people in England have proposed an enormous project. Initiated by "Aid to the Church in Need" (ACN), the English branch of "Church in Need". A chain reaction of the spiritual preparation one might say. ACN speaker Terry Murphy:

"It appears to be a common spirit, that the people pray and expect great things. It will be often said, that there is a lot of antipathy against the Pope's visit. But in my opinion, I haven't seen any of that. I have only seen great anticipation."

The preparation project for the Pope's visit will include a Rosary "prayer marathon" an countless Eucharistic holy hours.

Pope's Appearance Quashes Labour's Equality Law

It's amazing because now everyone is talking about Catholic Dogma and the Church's teaching on the Natural Law. Some might not like how the Holy Father intruded these concepts into the daily discussions of so many people in the wake of his UK visit, but there they are for all to complain about, but not a few, we think, particularly England's Clergy will be energized in a very decisive way to teach and spread the Catholic Faith.

[
Telegraph] Ministers had tried to include a new definition of a priest in the flagship anti-discrimination law, but church leaders complained that it was far too narrow.

They said it would mean religious organisations could no longer opt out of equality rules, and so would face prosecution unless they went against their beliefs by employing homosexuals. Roman Catholics feared they would be forced to admit women to the priesthood for the first time.

In an unprecedented intervention in British politics, on Monday the Pope declared that Britain’s equality laws are imposing “unjust limitations on the freedom of religious communities to act in accordance with their beliefs”.

Pope Drops Strong Hint to English Bishops: Get with the Program

ROME February 2, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Pope Benedict XVI has urged the Catholic bishops of England and Wales to stand firm against proposed legislation that he said opposes the natural law, and to present the Catholic Church's moral teaching in the face of the acceptance of moral relativism.

The pope’s remarks are being interpreted by the media as being aimed at the Equality Bill that the Catholic bishops have warned will force churches to violate their religious beliefs on homosexuality, marriage and the priesthood. But others have pointed out that the pope also is likely hinting that the bishops have some changes to make in their defense, or lack thereof, of doctrinal orthodoxy.

"Your country," Pope Benedict said, "is well known for its firm commitment to equality of opportunity for all members of society. Yet as you have rightly pointed out, the effect of some of the legislation designed to achieve this goal has been to impose unjust limitations on the freedom of religious communities to act in accordance with their beliefs.

English and Welsh bishops discuss local issues with Pope Benedict :: Catholic News Agency (CNA)

English and Welsh bishops discuss local issues with Pope Benedict :: Catholic News Agency (CNA)

Catholic Bishops are curious about the problem they face with vocations:

The British Catholic Herald also reported Bishop John Rawsthorne of Hallam as saying that "a shortage of priests would be a key issue during the visit" and expressing his wish to consult with the Pope on the matter, considering that many priests in his diocese will be retiring in the next decade.

Bishop Rawsthorne added that other issues on the agenda for the visit would be the new provision for Anglican communion, tackling the issue of legally-assisted suicide, addressing second marriages among Catholics and adjusting to the impact of immigration on the Catholic Church of England.

Perhaps they should be taking notes from this man in Belgium?

Archbishop Nichols is upbeat, however, and had a lot of positive things. Seems like there's a million more Catholics in UK than previously believed; windfall.

Churchmouse talks about the Tabeltistas [Postmodern Catholics who read the leftist and ever-erroneous Tablet] and complains that since they've had a lock on education, have muted Liverpool Catholics from having a true appreciation of the Mass, and therefore, almost no desire to have a Traditional Latin Mass. Perhaps they would want it if they knew it existed and understood some theology?

Discontent with Pope's Visit to England from "many" Anglicans

Surely, Scotland's Bishops aren't too happy about hosting Benedict. They're too busy doing everything but ensuring that their sheep know the Catholic Faith. Just what is it that they are enthused about besides banal liturgy and uninspiring leadership? Even the Anglicans aren't that hostile and Sky News is at a loss to drum up the kind of hostility John Paul II experienced from the Church of Scotland in 1982.

Are there really Anglicans who have taken the time out of their days being discontented with the Pope's visit? We don't think so.

There is discontent in some parts [Please name them] of the Anglican Church about Pope Benedict XVI’s visit later this year.

Many see the Pope as exploiting the invitation as an opportunity to sleight the history of the Church of England, which split from Rome in the 16th century.

Perhaps this would be the most sensible action of the Pope, at a time when the Church of England seems to be in difficulty. Last year, Benedict coaxed discontented Anglicans to quit and come over to his Roman Catholic denomination, which was regarded by some to be rude, at worse, and impolite, at best.

[chop]

In 1982 some members of the Church of Scotland’s General Assembly railed against John Paul as the “Anti-Christ”. Will there be demonstrations at the gates of Balmoral in September?

Probably not.

Nor is there likely to be much protest from Anglicans, who will probably be prayerful; just as the Archbishop of Canterbury always seems to be – no matter what happens.

UK Schools Must Teach Homosexuality is "Normal" and "Harmless"

LONDON, January 13, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) – U.K. Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg is wooing the vote of British homosexuals by stating that his party (the third largest party in the U.K.) would legislate that all faith schools in the UK would be legally obliged to teach their students that homosexuality is normal and without any risk to physical or mental health.

In an interview with the gay lifestyle magazine Attitude, Clegg outlined a number of proposals to advance '"gay rights" in the UK, including forcing all schools, including faith-based schools, to implement anti-homophobia bullying policies and to teach that homosexuality is "normal and harmless."

English Conservatives Lament that they have No Rush Limbaugh

One of the respondents to an Op-Ed piece, commenting with relief that Rush Limbaugh was recovering from his operation, in the Telegraph today focused on the lack of any conservative voice at all in the British Media. Despite a few writers on the staff at the Telegraph like Gerald Warner, the Media is completely dominated by Liberals there. It should remind Americans that they are fortunate to have at least one media segment not slavishly devoted to the party line. At the very least it should keep alive the fiction of free-speech.

Well, where is our Rush Limbaugh? What media outlet in the UK caters to conservatives? I cannot find it, if there is one. The BBC (British State Television) is blatant propaganda, but the same ideas are retailed on ITV, Channel 4 and Sky – Sky is majoring on environmental issues at the moment. The newspapers are uniformly left-wing, including the Daily Telegraph, which makes a point of including some genuinely conservative content but ultimately always backing the centrist line of the likes of Cameron. What about those who want to withdraw from the EU? stop all immigration? End the global warming, health and safety and race relations nonsenses and their associated bureaucracies? Abolish income tax? Abolish the welfare state? The DT leader writers would have a heart attack. Even on these blogs it is noticeable that nearly all blogwriters are well to the left of their audience (Delingpole, Gerald Warner and a few others are exceptions for which I am indeed grateful!) YOu seem to be socialists and supporters of a big state who are trying to straddle a divide and keep the real conservatives on board somehow, although the main DT editorial line cannot be described as conservative. The Daily Mail? The same story – some support for conservatism while careful not to overstep the multiculti establishment’s red lines. Where is our press?

And don't forget that the Left owned and operated USCCB was lobbying to have Rush investigated for some strange reason. If Soros isn't pulling the strings, then very likely it is someone controlled by him.

UK Courts Define Jewishness

JFS ruling: '3,500 years of Jewish tradition overturned.'

The Tablet

The Jewish Free School has lost the hard-fought case on the criteria for admissions to this sought-after school. The next step might be to challenge equality legislation itself, as the admissions criteria, found to be racially discriminating, was based on the 3,500-year-old criteria for judging whether a person is Jewish or not, fundamentally by the religion of the mother.

The outline of the case is summed up well in the United Synagogue's own press release, which I reproduce her with a comment from the Chief Rabbi Lord Sacks at the end.

Narrowest of margins defeats JFS
in the UK Supreme Court

London, 16th December 2009

The UK Supreme Court today, by the narrowest of margins, held that the admissions criteria of JFS, which gave preference in the event of oversubscription to children who are Jewish according to Orthodox Jewish law (either by descent or conversion), were in the definition of the 1976 Race Relations Act, directly racially discriminatory.
