Leftist Kulturkampf Against Young Blessed --- Who Always Seems to "Offend"

(Rome) Who owns the school? A particular political direction? How does indoctrination take place in the school? Or in other words: why does a particular political spectrum put so much value to the state and the state's control, which allows control of the school and  in order to control citizens  by the state? A small example from Italy, which is exemplary. The history of northern Italy is not the history of Italy, much less the history of Germany or Austria, Switzerland is the exception anyway. Nevertheless, parallels will be readily apparent. Names and historical contexts change, but a certain methodology remains the same. It's about the history of sovereignty

On 5 October Rolando Rivi was beatified ( see separate report ). The only 14-year-old high school student was murdered by Communist partisans on 10 April 1945 out of hatred for the faith, a few days before the war ended. Kidnapping and execution of the young seminarians took place in the Italian Emilia, in the so-called "Triangle of Death", which was controlled at the end of the war by Communist associations. Armed groups, who were  fighting against fascism and the German occupation forces, but not for freedom and democracy, but for the establishment of a Soviet Republic. A truth of this political side is not  heard happily today  and is largely concealed in the formation of public opinion. That was also the reason why the beatification of the young martyr,  just 68 years after his murder was possible.

But the Left is always outraged and their censorship always works. In Rio Saliceto in Rivis' home,  an exhibition about the young Blessed was shown on the occasion of the beatification. The compulsory education of Rio Saliceto interrupted regular classes for visits to the exhibition. The visit was part of Catholic religious education and was directed, anyway.  only to students who are registered for religious education.

The Rationale

The exhibition  was held in the parish hall "which  some parents wanted  to see as an insult to the Resistance" as the local press reported.  Since the Resistance is called in Italy the partisan resistance "against Nazi fascism." The  main support of armed resistance were Communist organizations.

Under pressure from the parents, the school director ended the exhibition visits. Before school he had a leaflet in which he justified the decision with "lack of time", "to question the exhibition from a historic and didactic point of view in the larger context."

Giuseppe Pagliani, group spokesman for the citizen's  opposition in the council,  sees the decision as merely "another episode of intolerance and censorship to dim the memory of the young martyr, because you want to hide the crimes of the Communist partisans."   There are aspects of resistance, "for which they can only be ashamed. Therefore, you do not want that the students learn that there were communist partisans, who cold-bloodedly murdered a boy of 14 years, while shouting,  'tomorrow we have one priest less.'"  The school's decision is all the greater when, Anne Frank is mentioned. But the memory is a caricature, if it takes place under the ideological sign.

Left censorship

In the "Red Emilia" it always come back to these cases of censorship, as Giuseppe Pagliani. Rolando Rivi was a nuisance for the Communists in 1945 and he is a nuisance for them even today. "The Communist trade union CGIL and Partisan Association ANPI have engaged pressure  for years  to block any attempt to name a street or a place after Rivi.  Efforts were made in several places, including the cities of Reggio Emilia and Modena," said Pagliani. The intention is clear: The general aim was to prevent the name of one of the many innocent victims of the Communist partisans from being known and receiving public importance. "Since Rivi has been beatified, his tragic story is but better known. More and more people learn of what has been concealed. Thus, those who are  influenced by communism like the  Emilia region, have to face their own history, " said Pagliani.

Target Is Suing Desperate Homosexual Group Lurking Outside its Stores

Gay rights for everyone whether they want them or not. We're wondering of the government is helping these pests out with funding? Homosexual pressure groups have been fact finding and canvassing on behalf of the normalization of the things they like to do. They've even gotten the White House involved in their antics by creating a false flag operation to convince Latin American countries, cynically to vote for their UN Resolution.

Now their aggressive proselytizing has gotten them in legal trouble. That's probably the last thing anyone wants to be thinking about when they've got to go to Target to purchase an item. Of course, homosexuals are vindictive as a group and they will undoubtedly retaliate by refusing to shop at Target.

Target is making some nasty headlines for itself once again in its apparent attempt to embrace a policy of indiscriminate discrimination. In recent years the big box superstore has settled multiple discrimination lawsuits with former employees (racial and/or disability discrimination) to make it seem as though the company just hates all people. Perhaps Target is meant to be pronounced with a French accent after all.

But in the past year, Target has gone on the offensive. Last July, the Minneapolis-based company made a 6-figure contribution to purchase campaign ads for anti-gay Minnesota gubernatorial candidate Tom Emmer. Following an uproar from employees and the media, Target CEO Gregg Steinhafel apologized. The company struck a deal with Lady Gaga to sell a deluxe limited edition run of her upcoming album, , due out in May. But Gaga backed out earlier this month citing Target's insensitivity to the LGBT community, having no assurances that Target wouldn't continue funding political candidates with anti-gay agendas.

Now Target is suing a group San Diego pro-gay marriage activists to stop them from canvassing -- or talking to patrons about gay marriage -- outside its stores, specifically the Poway location. The lawsuit was filed on March 8. Target was denied a temporary restraining order against between Target and Canvass for a Cause by the San Diego County Superior Court judge. The trial was set to begin today. But, once again, it's not an anti-gay thing, Target assures.

EU Continues to Back Communist Activista in Banning Cross in Italy

The Italian government has appealed a ruling from the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg that would remove crucifixes from Italian public schools.

The government made its appeal today before the Grand Chamber of the Court, in a case that the Vatican and many European nations will be watching closely.

Ten other countries signed on to show their support for Italy in the case, several of them Orthodox strongholds, including Greece, Russia and Cyprus.

I've never liked the idea that alleged victims of priests' abuse could sue the whole church; its ministries like Catholic Charities should be untouchable. The church funds might pay for counseling --but if accusing a priest gives claimants a financial windfall, seems some people could be motivated to falsely claim abuse. If the abuse can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt, then sue the priest! not the church. But my kid learned in "justice class" in a local school that you "sue the deep pocket." Some justice!

They should sue the leftist organizations that have been destroying the moral fabric of this country, and definitely sue Catholic Charities for its gross and long-standing imposture as a Catholic organization. The entire problem with this issue is that the root causes of this aren't discussed because there are protected classes who cause the problem and don't get fingered and sent to jail where they belong, or on a scaffold.

They should be sued for misrepresentation when they take money from pewsitters and give it to murderering, malingering, malcontent anti-Catholics like the Catholic Campaign for Human Development does.

The entire Sex-abuse thing is a classic agit-prop campaign of world-wide scope and soul shattering urgency.

Monarchy is Nepal's Only Hope

Kamal Thapa, chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal has once again demanded referendum to decide the fate of Monarchy, Secularism and Federalism.
He said that his party will not accept the new constitution unless referendum was conducted to engage sovereign Nepali people to take decisions on the crucial but contentious issues.
Speaking at a program in Kathmandu organized by his party, Saturday January 9, 2010, Kamal Thapa also claimed that if Nepal adopts Federalism, the country will be divided into several pieces.
“To save the country from disintegration, restoration of monarchy was the best solution”, he also said.

Columbia's Biggest Communist Groups Unite

BOGOTA (Reuters) - Colombia's two biggest rebel groups said on Wednesday they may join forces against the state after years of being pushed onto the defensive by the U.S.-backed security policies of President Alvaro Uribe.

The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) and the National Liberation Army (ELN) issued a surprise joint statement in which they threatened to unite with "force and belligerence" in their fight against the conservative Uribe.

"Our only enemy is North American Imperialism and its oligarchic lackeys," the statement said.

The ELN, formed by renegade Catholic priests and inspired by the liberation theology movement of the 1960s, has clashed repeatedly with the hard-line communist FARC.

Heretical Jesuits celebrate 20th Anniversary of Soviet "Martyrs"

Despite the established fact that the Salvadoran rebel FMLN was determined as the guerrilla force backed by Soviet military intervention by the State Department as early as 1981 [El Salvadoran Civil War, Globalsecurity.org], quite a few leftists within the Jesuit order are still prepared to defend their involvement on the losing side in the war, and they get to teach your children at places like Creighton, Gonzaga, Georgetown and Loyola, at high prices, indoctrinating them, or at least trying. One wonders how these tired fellow travellers keep doing what they do.

The Jesuits engaged in armed struggle while identifying their socialist struggle with "defending the rights of the poor against the rich". Jesuit priests gave aid and support to these revolutionary agents of the Soviet Union and this is something they won't be discussing tomorrow.

So many times, leftist sympathizers ignore the reality of the Soviet role played in the El Salvadoran civil war, and on November 16th, they are going to commemorate this deception by remembering the Liberation Theology Jesuits who got caught in the middle of the fighting where they occasionally took up arms on the wrong side and paid the ultimate price as men must do. Unfortunately, the word "martyr" is applied to these men, but a look at the individuals engaged in this mad adulation reveal a pedigree of dissent from Church teachings and active if not passive engagement with Marxist causes.

Even the Democratic Congress places itself under suspicion by its recent passage of a resolution to commemorate these communists.

Maoists Rally in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU (Reuters) - Nepal's former Maoist rebels, waving hammer-and-sickle flags, blocked roads to the capital on Tuesday in protest at the reinstatement of the army chief, the first time they have taken such action since the end of the civil war three years ago.

The Maoist-led government fired the army chief, General Rookmangud Kawatal, in May saying he had refused to take orders. But the move was reversed by the president, prompting the Maoists to quit the government and plunging the country into crisis.

Maoist activists danced on the roads, or sat in front of vehicles, in a protest that may damage the tourism-dependent economy and has raised fears about Nepal's fragile peace.
