Pope Francis Does the Holy Liturgy

Pope Francis is to ordain 16 deacons to the priesthood on April 22
The Words of Consecration and the Pope

(Rome) The Holy See yesterday published the texts and chants for the Pope's Mass on the 4th Sunday after Easter, which Pope Francis will celebrate on April 22 in St. Peter's Basilica. On this occasion, the head of the Church will consecrate several candidates to the priesthood.

The priestly ordinations

Pope Francis will ordain sixteen deacons preparing for the priesthood as priests, sincethe 55th World Day of Prayer is celebrated  at the same time for priestly vocations.

Five of them come from the diocesan seminary of the Diocese of Rome. The number reflects the situation of priestly vocations in the Pope's own diocese.

The other eleven candidates come from other countries and continents. Six come from the Roman missionary college Redemptoris Mater of the Neocatechumenal Way; four from the Famiglia dei Discepoli (Family of the Disciples) and one from the Opera Don Orione. They come from Croatia, Madagascar, Vietnam, Myanmar, Colombia, San Salvador, Romania, India and Peru. Eleven of them, the five candidates of the diocese and the candidates of the seminary Redemptoris Mater,  are consecrated and incardinated for the diocese of Rome.

The words of consecration

According to the announcement, the III. Canon has been chosen. His predecessor Benedict XVI. preferred the Roman canon. [What else is there?] In contrast, Francis varies and also benefits from the new prayers, which were created ex novo only by the liturgical reform of the 60s. Since then, the Anaphora can be said in the vernacular, as will be the case on April 22nd. Benedict XVI. preferred Latin, the language of the Church, and not only at celebrations in the Patriarchal basilicas and in Rome, but also abroad. Conversely, Francis, who also uses the vernacular in St. Peter's Basilica in a solemn Papal Mass and not the Roman Canon.

On April 22, Pope Francis will use the words "for all" to reflect the Latin "pro multis". This contradicts the order of Benedict XVI, who had already prescribed in 2006 binding for the whole world Church as the more appropriate, because closer to the original translation "for many".
The majority of Italian bishops had in prounced for the retention of "for all" in 2010. Benedict XVI. patiently conducted persuasion seemed to bear fruit in early 2013. One of the most persistent opponents, Archbishop Bruno Forte, had assailed Benedict's camp with waving flags defending the "pro multis / for many."

The rebels

Shortly thereafter, Benedict XVI. made his  surprising resignation known. Since then, there has been a standstill in the rebellious states. Although at that time the Vatican Recognition of the new version of the Italian translation of the Missale was almost complete, it has not been published until today.

Pro multis
Pro multis
The opponents of Benedict XVI.s mandated translation immediately raised their voices after the election of Pope Francis,  especially in the linguistic areas, including the German one, which had already delayed, denied, and boycotted the order under the German Pope, and therefore the new translations had not yet been printed.

Cardinal Karl Lehrmann (Mainz) and Archbishop Alois Kothgasser (Salzburg) complained of Vatican "interference". In April 2013, one month after the election of Pope Francis, the Austrian bishops published a "clarification" that the only admissible translation was "for all" because the only approved German translation of the Missal was that of 1975. The admonition was addressed to the liturgically most sensitive part of the clergy, who began to complain that seven years after Benedict's change, nothing had yet happened.

Pope Francis sent out contradictory signals. From them one could read a supposed support of every position and also the opposite. Most appropriately, his attitude is likely to be reflected in a both-and-also, as he showed it in 2015 within a few days at the Mass celebrations in Cuba and in the US. In both countries he celebrated in Spanish. In Cuba, because it is the national language, in the US once for the large number of Spanish-speaking immigrants. In Cuba he used the words of change "for all" (por todos), in the US the words of change "for many" (por muchos).

The same pope, the same Spanish language, and yet such a difference?

The reason is that the English translation of the Missal was already published at that time, and for pro multis that of Benedict XVI. wanted "for many", while the new Spanish translation was not available at that time and in the old formula the pro-multis was still presented as " for all".

Everyone after his Façon ...?

In other words, every country and its episcopal conference should decide for themselves. A similar instruction was issued by Francis in September 2017. Shortly before he declared the Liturgy reform of 1969 as "irreversible."

His words can be seen at the memorial mass for the deceased cardinals on 3 November 2017 as a confirmation of the position of Benedict XVI. In his sermon , Francis said:
"The 'many who awaken to eternal life are to be understood as the 'many' for whom the blood of Christ was shed. It is the great number of those who, thanks to God's merciful goodness, may experience the reality of eternal life, the perfect victory over death achieved through the resurrection."
But even the Pope does not abide by the law, because in his celebration of April 22, Francis is opposed to the order of Benedict XVI. will say not "many", but "all." An anachronism. The Pope, by virtue of his authority, declares that the words of change are to be pronounced "for many" - that was 2006 -, and 2018, twelve years later, even the Pope does not abide by it, because the responsible Episcopal Conference has not yet re-translated and published the Missal? Absurd.

Francis, however, behaves this way and signals that the question is rather unimportant to him. There would be another way. Those whom Benedict XVI, by deferring to Church Latin, which is unique and includes both "for many" and "for all". But for that, Francis, according to Roman insiders, obviously lacks the necessary liturgical sensitivity. In addition, severe prejudices prevent him from consistently considering such a step.

Genuflecting

Regardless of this, the Office of the Liturgical Celebrations of the Pope is adamant that the pamphlets for the consecration should state that the pope "shows the consecrated host to the people and kneels adoringly" and "shows and adores the chalice to the people performing a genuflection."

It is well known that the adoring genuflections have not occurred since the election of Pope Francis. As is well known, it should be known that this is due to knee problems. The fact is that neither Pope Francis nor the Vatican Press Office has made a statement in more than five years of this pontificate. And that despite the importance of the question. The assumptions, allegations or even well-intentioned explanations of individual Vaticanists can not replace an official opinion. However, such is not forthcoming, which is why the Pope standing before the Blessed Sacrament will remain an ambivalent picture of this pontificate.

Pope Refuses to Receive Dismissed Bishop -- As If -- "Dialog, Mercy and Respect"

Bishop Livieres Hard Answer From Rome
(Rome / Asuncion) For days, Bishop Rogelio Livieres Plano has been in Rome and asking to be received by Pope Francis. Vain. Instead, the bishop was removed from office. This  bishop responded  to this treatment with a harsh response. Meanwhile there is public celebration in progressive church circles in Paraguay for his removal.
Bishop Rogelio Livieres Plano of Ciudad del Este is not a man who minces  words. This has made him disliked among Paraguay's bishops, to which until a few years ago, Bishop Fernando Lugo belonged,  the "red bishop" of San Pedro, who preferred to be candidate for a broad leftist coalition as president against the will of Rome and he gave up his episcopate and priesthood. Bishop Livieres is now the victim of an equally surprising and brutal "decapitation" and because he is not a man of arbitrariness, he responded with a  savory letter to the Prefect of the Congregation for Bishops, Cardinal Marc Ouellet.
On the website of the diocese of the dossier from last summer was re-released, with which the diocese had responded to all the rumors and accusations, passed behind closed doors by word of mouth or addressed by the Apostolic Visitor Cardinal Santos Abril y Castello, a personal confidant of the Pope Francis.

Bishop Has Asked for Days to be Received in Rome by the Pope - in Vain

The letter to Cardinal Ouellet and the dossier discloses the ethical, but also formal irregularities of a campaign to discredit a bishop, aimed at his deposition,  that has taken place now. "An operation that has an ideological connotation," the Vaticanist Marco Tosatti.
As a "true son of the Church," he accepts the decision, says Bishop Livieres, even if it is "unfounded and arbitrary, for which the Pope must be answerable to God". The bishop's letter continues: "Apart from many human errors that I may have committed, and for which I ask  pardon from God and those who may have suffered, I ask once more firmly that the core of the case is an opposition and an ideological persecution."

Inner-Paraguayan  "Opposition and Ideological Persecution"

Msgr. Livieres who belongs to Opus Dei, was the only "conservative" bishop in Paraguay. A fact that will say something about the situation within the Episcopal Conference and with the reference to the "opposition"  as the bishop says. When Bishop Livieres had by far the largest seminary in the whole country and for miles around, then it depends not least with the attitude of the other bishops. The promotion of priestly vocations has  in much of Latin America  long been in disarray. Cultural barriers to the indigenous population have not been  resolved, the subliminal strong currents of liberation theology is in a "ideological" contrary to the priesthood. Liberal bishops  do their worst.
"The real problem of the Church in Paraguay is the crisis of faith, life and morality, which was further supported and extended by poor training of clergy, together with the laxity of the shepherds," wrote  Bishop Livieres to Cardinal Ouellet.
The bishop never once received the report of the Apostolic Visitator so he could not concretely address  Rome  to justify or defend himself. "If you think the problem of the Church of Paraguay is a problem of the sacristy, which one solves by exchanging the sacristan, one errs fundamentally and tragically."

Dismissal "In Contradiction to the Many Speeches of Dialogue, Compassion and Respect"

Bishop Livieres was never told at any time  of any wrongdoing or even complaints held by Rome, which made it impossible for any reply.. Out of the blue it was carried out without any reason specifying the impeachment. "Contrary to the many speeches of dialogue, compassion, openness, decentralization and respect for the local churches, I was given neither an opportunity to speak with Pope Francis or  the possibility  to make clear doubts or worries. Consequently, I was also not paternally rebuked  by him - or fraternally - how things were seen."
Bishop Livieres ends his letter with the words: "Such a procedure without any formality or undefined and abrupt nature appears to be not very fair. You do not offer room for a legitimate defense or for a reasonable correction of possible errors. From Rome I only obtained pressure to resign. "
Bishop Rogelio Livieres has been in Rome for several days  and asks to be received by the Pope - in vain. In Paraguay, the news of the dismissal was made known in the absence of the bishop. While in his diocese, guesswork and frustration prevail, in other parts of the country the progressive church circles does not hide their joy and  is celebrating the dismissal publicly.

Ex-bishop Lugo Celebrates Dismissal: "Livieres has not worked for the unity of the Church"

Senator and Ex-Bishop Fernando Lugo
In Paraguay where the episcopate which is thoroughly embossed with liberation theology, Bishop Livieres is an anomaly. Attached to this episcopal row, is also included Fernando Lugo, who a few years ago  preferred, against the will of Rome, to hang up the dignity of Bishop and priesthood, in order to run for a broad leftist coalition. As President, he failed within a short time. Among other things, it was learned that he, as a bishop, had a relationship with a woman and fathered a child.
That was yesterday. Today the  Ex-bishop Lugo, who maintained good contacts with high ecclesiastical dignitaries of Paraguay after his laicization, celebrated the dismissal of Bishop Livieres. The senator said this in an interview for the newspaper ABC."  Pope Francis just does not tolerate any form of irregularities, be they  doctrinal, moral or in personal style" said Senator Lugo even bring up the much-discussed case of the Argentine priest Carlos Urrutigoity, who then years before in the United States was accused of "suspected sexual abuse", but does not see this as the reason of dismissal, because the declaration of the Vatican speaks of "pastoral reasons" and "unity," said Lugo.

Crux of Understanding of the Church and Liberation Theology?

What Livieres is being blamed for, "and what I also have criticized him for," said Lugo, was the fact that he had not contributed  "to the unity of the Church" in Paraguay. Ex-bishop Lugo was among the sharpest of Bishop Livieres' critics among church officials in the country. Bishop Livieres fought  liberation theology as "harmful" and several times raised the criticism that at the seminary of Asuncion, the liberation theology will continue to spread. For this reason, the Bishop decided to pay special attention to an independent priestly formation, which occurred exclusively in his diocese and to peel off from the Archdiocese of Asuncion and the Bishops' Conference in pastoral matters.

"Rebel Pastor" Bernard Kroll Will be the President of the Catholic Workers' Movement of Eichstät

On the 10th Anniversary of His Betrayal of Christ
[Bild: kreuz-net/Archiv]
"Rebel priest" Bernhard Kroll is Programme Director of Pastoral Workers of the Diocese of Eichstätt Kroll was rightly suspended because of prohibited participation in a Protestant communion with the "Ecumenical" Church Day in Berlin by Bishop Mixa. Now he is promised a management function.

"Ecumenism" - A Plague of [Bad] Advice

Driven mainly by Protestants and Leftist "Catholics" as a hobby, "ecumenism" has as its primary purpose to enfeeble, and to pull down Roman Catholic values and beliefs to Protestants level.

To date, it is certainly not known if Protestants are coming to the Catholic Church. The former cult director and current ambassador of the Reformation, Margot Käßmann, who drank her way out of her former office, expects a "positive signal for ecumenism", quite the opposite for the Luther celebration in 2017.

At the same time it is clear: "The divisive - Papacy, Marian devotion, theological understandings of the official Church and the Eucharist - will remain of course."

In other words: the Catholic Church is to move towards heresy after example of the Protestants.

Abusers Lord's Supper

In connection with the "Ecumenical" Church Day in May 2003, in Berlin, he cooperated in celebrating Eucharist with the later banned, Emeritus Theology Professor Gotthold Hasenhüttl, in the Gethsemane Lutheran Church and Fr. Bernhard Kroll, pastor in Franconia Großhabersdorf, had used members of the Protestant cult as lackeys.

Out of sheer greed for public acclaim, he was also filmed here.

Fr. Gotthold Hasenhüttl celebrated Holy Mass in a Lutheran church. For supper he invited everyone present explicitly - Catholics, heretics and infidels.

Hw. Hasenhüttl described in an interview with the anti-Catholic polemic journal "The Mirror", the Papal encyclicals - like those of Pope John Paul II, with which it is clearly presented by the Holy Father that Catholics attending the Protestant type of the "Eucharist" is forbidden - as a "contribution to the discussion by the Pope".

Premeditation

Fr. Kroll continued the compare the celebration of Holy Communion in the Church of the presence of God as the same as a mere memorial by Protestants.

Fr. Kroll knows that the participation of a Catholic priest in vestments in a Protestant wine tasting with bread is forbidden.

But that did not bother him.

On the contrary, he had even accepted the action taken, even expected sanctions by the Church - "but at most with a warning, or a leave of absence."

Proper response of Bishop Mixa

Instead, the then Bishop Walter Mixa had done the right thing: He suspended Fr. Kroll a few days later, prohibiting any celebration of the Eucharist and relieved him of his duties as President of the Diocesan Catholic Youth Community (KJG). The official website of the Diocese of Eichstätt euphemistically describes it ten years later (release: July 8, 2013) with, "In the fall of 2003, he resigned [Fr. Kroll, Editor's note] his pastorate and began further studies."

Church from Below

Then the supposedly Catholic associations of de facto Protestants as "We Are Church" attempted to stage a peasant revolt. In a leaflet of the anti-Roman "Church People's Movement" ("We Are Church") you availed the mobilization effect and asked the recipients "for their generous (tax-deductible) donation - of course for themselves.

Bishop Mixa was fortunately committed in his objectively well-founded decision.

But he also receives unintentional praise from "We are Church": "Walter Mixa, Bishop of Eichstätt, for whom the Pope is a welcome guest, who had already made known his unwavering loyalty to the Roman doctrine on the assumption of office."

Support was received for Mixa from his Excellency Meisner, Archbishop of Cologne and Catholic associations like the "Network Catholic Priests": "Kroll is a further indication of the theological and pastoral nadir of German Catholicism."

However, the network of Catholic priests wished even a punishment of unfair practices in the Eucharist even when they are not attacked in the media.

Press Conference by Fr. Kroll

He had been shocked, is what Fr. Kroll reported. Apparently not enough, at a press conference given after his disciplining he shows himself obstinate and refers to previous misdeeds, "church services, weddings and baptisms along with evangelical colleagues are common in my community. The time was ripe to go a step further. I would probably not do it again in this way."

Commendation by Bishop Gregor Maria Hanke on the 10-year anniversary of the suspension

Almost exactly ten years later the incumbent Bishop of Eichstätt Hanke promoted Fr. Kroll, to the order to the diocesan president of the Catholic Workers Movement (KAB). He replaces vicar Michael Konecny, who is now translated to the parish of Buxheim.

Even before that (early 2008) had his Excellency had appointed Kroll as city youth minister in Ingolstadt - how aptly he could convey his Protestant views of equality to the youth right here.

Bishops Promote Anti-Rome Clergy

The new office is to begin for "rebel priest" on the 1st of September, 2013, coinciding with the disobedience Pastor Strohmaier in St. Veit am Vogau in southern Styria.

But that the episcopate also conveys that it is behind the anti-Rome movement or at least approves of this.

Editor: Bishop Walter Mixa was one of the few German Bishops trying to get it right, and he was trammeled and dismissed over very weak allegations of physically abusing his students.  He was "helped" along by the decadent Cardinals Marx and Zollitsch.  Clearly, he was replaced by a very evil Bishop.
