Cardinal Müller:"I did not like the praise of the Freemasons for the Pope"

Cardinal Gerhard Müller: "What does clericalism mean? Homosexual inclinations are responsible for most of the cases of sexual abuse by clerics "

(Rome) While Pope Francis was preparing to sign a document on "human brotherhood" in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), yesterday he signed his signature with the Islamic Grandimam of Al-Azhar, an authority of Sunni Islam, Nuova Bussola Quotidiana published an interview last Sunday with Gerhard Cardinal Müller, former prefect of the Roman Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. In it, the German cardinal again criticized the "clericalism" thesis and talked about "the real reason" for sexual abuse by clerics, but also about "the biggest problem" that the Church has today. He rejects allegations that there is "a plot" against Francis and makes no secret of the fact that he does not like the "great praise" Francis receives from the Freemasons.

German Bishops’ Conference and Klaus Mertes SJ Hostile to Magisterial Statements of the Church

P. Klaus Mertes SJ shows incendiary hostility against Magisterial statements.

Cardinal Müller recently presented in an interview the teaching of the Church on the issues of homosexuality, celibacy and abuses by clerics. He did what is expected of every theologian: "obliging the Magisterium of the Church to fully and comprehensively teach the doctrine of the Church.” With this promise, the controversial Jesuit priest and university professor Ansgar Wucherpfennig averted the Vatican's non-recognition as a university rector. The same ecclesiastical circles that acclaimed this compromise with Rome themselves do not think of recognizing the statements of the Church Magisterium. In any case, they reacted negatively or aggressively to Müller's statements:

-A committee of the German Bishops' Conference called the church teachings on sexual morality "dangerous".

- The Jesuit Father Klaus Mertes pulped the utterances of the former head of the Congregation of the Faith as "nonsense.”

-The Frankfurt canon Johannes zu Eltz complained about the magisterial review of homosexual theologians: "This whole mess has entered the bin.”

What are the reasons for such "reactionary hostility" to doctrinal statements?

In the light of the published abuse study MHG, DBK strategists seem to be seizing the opportunity to attackChurch  doctrine on homosexuality. The bishops of a DBK prevention conference agreed with great applause to the thesis that Müller's statements on Church doctrine are "inflammatory.”  For they cemented a sexual morality "that contributed to sexual violence". These allegations have no basis whatsoever in the facts of the abuse study. Nor can any evidence claim the implication of the theses. According to this, the ethical acceptance of gay-lesbian ways of life among believers and clerics would be a contribution to the prevention of clerical abuse. Manfred Lütz describes such theses as without factual basis, which are also spread by the authors of the abuse study, a "low point" in scientific work and evaluation of empirical data.

"Prevention" in the understanding of the German Bishops' Conference

On the other hand, in the wake of the MHG study, bishops vehemently deny that most sexual attacks are overwhelmingly from aberrosexuals. This blatant contradiction can not be sold to a reasonable person. The emotional excitement of the bishop's council seems to obscure this argumentative contradiction.

All the more then did the DBK bishops feel caught when they were confronted by Cardinal Müller with the clear message of the Church's teaching office: "Sexual contacts between persons of the same sex are diametrically opposed to the sense of sexuality that is fundamental in creation." Müller thus gave the doctrine of the Church again, as the then Cardinal Ratzinger formulated it in 2003 and Pope Francis affirmed in his post-synodal writing "Amoris laetitia" in chapter 251: "There is no foundation for establishing analogies between homosexual partnerships and God's plan of marriage and family in a broader sense.”

Errors of contemporary scientific knowledge

Bishop Bode and other churchmen want to deny the Church doctrine on homosexuality over "Insights of Human Science". How problematic it is to eradicate the biblically based doctrine through zeitgeist of scientific tendencies is shown by an example from the 70s and 80s. At that time, dozens of sexologists claimed that consensual sex between adults and children was completely harmless. On the basis of the Green party, as of the middle of the 80s, it demanded the legalization of pedophile acts against the state’s majority two party congressional majority. Volker Beck also later justified his unspeakable claim of 1988 that homosexuals should pioneer the decriminalization of pedosexuals, pointing out that this had been the state of science back then. The decisions of the Greens had led to the fact that around 1,000 children were abused within a few years within the party. The Catholic schools also radiated this pedosexual revolution. In the two decades mentioned, the attacks by aberrosexual clerics doubled.

Arrogant interview statements by Klaus Mertes against Cardinal Müller

The Jesuit Father Klaus Mertes commented on statements by Cardinal Müller with the remark: "This is nonsense".
He accompanied his verbal abnegation with a condescending grin during the interview by catholic.de. These signs of arrogance should cover up the substantive weakness of his remarks. Because Mertes denied any confrontation with obvious facts and evidence for the large proportion of homosexual clerics in sexual assaults. The fact that more than two-thirds of the victims of abuse were boys at the age of puberty and sexual maturity (11 to 17 years), urges the hypothesis that the perpetrators were predominantly homosexuals. This approach is corroborated by research showing that homosexuals have significant ephebophilic preferences. A recent American study by the Ruth Institute concludes that there is a strong correlation between the growth of homosexual clergy and abuse cases in the US. The current MHG abuse study on page 48 presents an analogous research project. Accordingly 42.6 percent of clerical abusers were of a  homosexual or bisexual orientation. If one considers that the proportion of serial abuse among clerical homosexuals is particularly high, then the initial thesis of predominantly homosexual perpetrators is also to be documented numerically.

Klaus Mertes served these fact-based results as "short circuit" and "nonsense". In addition, he denounced the rational approach as a "homophobic strategy.” Against the arguments along the empirical data, he relied on conjecture and speculation. But he can not begin to explain the phenomenon of disproportionate boy abuse by clerics.

Gays have no place in the consecrated, priestly life

So Mertes lamented an "overheated superstition of the status of the priest.” He was a "part of the problem" of sexual abuse. The Jesuit priest, who publicly hides his priesthood in casual clothes, has desceibed the alleged superstition of priests as “exaltation of the sacramental priesthood."
Furthermore, causes of the abuse are "structural conditions" - a popular buzzword with little factual content. Mertes included "the tabooing of homosexuality" in the clergy. Therefore, homosexual clerics would not be able to discuss their homosexuality in a discursive way. Does not the Jesuit priest underestimate the ability of academically educated clergy to reflect on themselves? And what exactly would this alleged "silence cartel" have to do with the abuse? The eloquent cleric is silent about this. Instead, his eloquence culminates in the speculative claim that "the structural causes" are "to be found in the context of the prohibition of admitting homosexuality to priestly ordination." Conversely, Mertes's thesis is that if homosexuals were officially admitted to the priesthood, the structural causes of clerical abuse would be removed. A side effect of this thesis is the implication that homosexual clerics were involved in abuse.
Incidentally, Mertes' wording on the "admission of homosexuality" is incorrect. The popes Benedict and again Francis have determined that seminarians with "deep-rooted homosexual tendencies" as well as participation in the gay culture may not be admitted to the priesthood. Recently, Francis affirmed that "there is no room for gays in the consecrated, priestly life." Homosexual clergymen who lead a double life as priests and gays should rather give up their ministry.

Will the Formation of Spanish Government be Signed with an Anti-Catholic Signature?

(Madrid) The designated Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez of the socialist party PSOE and the President of the Liberal Party Ciudadanos, Albert Rivera, have signed a "parliamentary agreement" in the course of forming a government.
In it they explain the agreement in a set of objectives, which is to implement a joint government. These include a "revision" of the Concordat with the Catholic Church and the legalization of euthanasia and  "surrogacy".
"The new legislature in the beginning looks bleak. The key points of the agreement are working in open contradiction to Catholic doctrine and worship of the non-culture of death ", as the Catholic Spanish columnist Francisco Fernandez de la Cigoña said.
The "parliamentary agreement" will enable the formation of a government "of progress and reform", stressed Sanchez and Rivera. Rivera has agreed to  a choice of Sanchez as the next Spanish Prime Minister. The new center-left government will ask for a vote of confidence to the Parliament next week.
PSOE and Ciudadanos come together in the crucial House of Representatives, however, only 130 of 350 seats in the Senate, however, provides no weight for the formation of a government, since the   Christian Democrat-Conservative People's Party (PP) has the absolute majority of seats. It's a majority, which might impose itself against any constitutional amendment.
Without the consent or abstention of the radical leftist Podemos, Sanchez  can not be elected prime minister on March 2. Podemos has 42 MPs. Another 27 MPs are members of Podemos Group, however, they were elected on regional community lists with other leftist regional parties in Catalonia, Valencia and Galicia. Their voting focus and party discipline I have yet to witness.
Parliamentary elections took place in Spain in 2015 on 20 December. They shifted the political landscape to a great extent, so that neither a government nor a left mid-left or center-right or right-wing government is possible. If Sanchez fails, there is likely to be new elections.

Blasphemous "Our Father" in Barcelona -- Anti-Clericalism is Definitive for the Left

(Madrid) Hostility to Christianity has many faces and there are many ways to persecute Catholics. That is mockery since the Protestant Revolt and  the French Revolution's social exclusion. "It's called, 'freedom of expression,' thus justifying the worst obscenities of blasphemy," so says Corrispondenza Romana . The poem "Our Mother" falls in this category, which  last Monday was the winner of the literary competition, Premio Ciudad de Barcelona de Poesia, presented by the city of Barcelona at an award ceremony.
Dolores Miquel (image) of Lleida in Catalonia writes poetry in order, in her own words, "to provoke". This is in order to attract attention so that she continually incites provocation. On Monday she introduced a distortion of the Our Father, which she called "Our Mother" in order to set a feminist tone:  "Hallowed be your c***, thy will be done in our womb" and called for abortion: "Do not let the bastards abort love and promote war ".

"This has deeply offended me. With Catholics anything is always allowed"

Alberto Fernández Diaz, the group spokesman of the Spanish Popular Party left the event in the City Hall of Barcelona. "What I have heard has deeply offended me," said the PP representative. Then he wrote on the social networks: "It is a matter of respect. With the Catholics anything always  allowed, everything, but at the same they reject this when the same understanding of "freedom" is used of others who ridicule, for example,  Islam."
. Even the Bishop of Terrassa, Mgr José Ángel Saiz, left no doubt: "This poem is undoubtedly blasphemous. How long will you still abuse the patience of the Catholics?"
The former Mayor of Barcelona, Xavier Trias, described the sad incident as an "institutional failure" because it took place during an official ceremony of the city administration. Trias was from 2011-2015 c Mayor of Barcelona, and belongs to  the liberal-conservative, national Catalan  Democratic Convergence of Catalonia CDC party.

The Left's Anti-Clerical Identity

Leftist Mayor of Barcelona receives criticism for blasphemous poem

Since the local elections of 2015,  Ada Colau is Mayor of Barcelona. The leftist activist belongs to a newly founded  opposition coalition of the left-wing populist Podemos party, Greens and Left-Catalan nationalists. The alliance won 25 percent of the vote and eleven of 41 mandates. With the support of other left parties (Left nationalists ERC, the Catalan PSOE offshoot PSC and the radical left CUP) Colau was elected for mayor by a mere 21.
The nun Lucia Caram, who otherwise contains good relationships with leftist Catalan nationalists, said she was "surprised and disappointed" about the "superficiality and hostility to the Church," from Ada Colau "and her Muchachos".

The PP party spokesman Fernandez has called for the resignation of all those who have "offended with such adulterations of the 'Lord's Prayer' and contempt for the religious feelings and convictions of others in the name of a completely distorted idea of freedom of speech."

The "Humanistic" Network -- An Example

(Montreal) who was declared a "humanist of the year" in 2015?   All things being equal,  to avoid any misunderstandings: the most human among humans is not what is meant. In Canada there is a Fondation humaniste du Québec (FHQ) and Mouvement québécois laïque (MLQ). The latter was founded in 1976, the former ended in 2004. Since 1993, the secular movement (MLQ) has given awards by the name  Prix Condorcet Dessaules.
The winner of 2015 is Alain Simoneau. But who is Alain Simoneau? One might reply: Any Canadian citizen who lives in the city of Saguenay in Quebec State. Less known are the reasons why Simoneau was honored with acclaim and a prize worth 5,000 dollars.
According to the Humanist Foundation, which has officially presented the award for several years, the atheist Alain Simoneau has accomplished "greatness". He persuaded the Supreme Court of Canada, supposedly for the benefit of all mankind, to abolish the traditional prayer at the beginning of the council meeting of his hometown.

European Museum Association "L'Internationale" Holds Anti-Clerical Exhibition -- Currently in Madrid

(Madrid) A network of European museums of contemporary art is a misanthropic, blasphemous and anti-clerical exhibition. The exhibition can currently be seen under the name  "Un saber real instruments útil"  the Queen Sofia Museum in Madrid. The exhibition promotes abortion, insults Christianity and is hostile to the Catholic Church. "It would be reprehensible if a religious denomination would get money from the government to insult feminists", said Infovaticana. Equally reprehensible is the inverse conclusion that feminists get money from the Spanish government and the European Union (EU) to insult the Catholic Church.
The "valuable" pieces, currently shown in the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia  include matchboxes illustrated with a call for violence: "The only church that illuminates is  burning. Support help! "
The Queen Sofia Museum, named after the former Spanish Queen Sofia, the wife of  King Juan Carlos I, who abdicated on June 19th, is holding an exhibition, which is funded by taxpayers' money, blasphemes the God, insults the Catholic Church, degrades human dignity, calls for anti-Christian violence and the murder of unborn children. Miguel Vidal started a petition on HazteOir, which prompts the museum director , Manuel Borja-Villel to close the exhibition.
The Museum of Modern Art was founded in 1990. The headquarters is located in San Carlos Hospital in Madrid, which had been founded in the 16th century by King Philip II.

EU-Sponsored Church Hostility "in the Name of Art"

Was compiled by the exhibition  Croatian Curator Collective WHW What, How & Whom that holds exhibitions in the German-speaking world, especially in Austria. The Madrid exhibition was funded by the EU Culture Programme. The alleged "educational" approach of the exhibition recalls not coincidentally of the National Socialist "education programs". Nor that the Collective WHW put together an exhibition for a new European museum network called L'International (The International).
The  International Museums-  with its naming inspired by communistic nostalgia include the following six museums of modern art at: Moderna Galerija (MG + MSUM, Ljubljana, Slovenia); Museo nacional centro de arte Reina Sofía (MNCARS, Madrid, Spain); Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA, Catalonia, Spain); Museum of Modern Art, Antwerp (M HKA, Antwerp, Belgium); SALT (Istanbul and Ankara, Turkey) and Van Abbemuseum (VAM, Eindhoven, The Netherlands).
The exhibition is expected to be seen in all these museums soon. The Exhibition in Madrid is imbued with hostility toward Christians. An exhibition piece which criticized Islam,  would not only have been unsuitable for left and left-liberal Western states, but also for the Islamic Turkey.

Sacrilegious "Our Father" of Argentine Feminists

The exhibits feature a total of 30 artists and artist collectives. Among these there is also the Argentine feminist collective Mujeres publicas (Public Women). The "art" of Public Women is meant to attack the Catholic Church and to offend Christians and Christianity.
The Spanish left would not put up with having to pay taxes and can then offend people in an exhibition with their own money. The exhibition Un saber real instruments útil (Really useful knowledge) promotes the feminist "Our Father" the Mujeres publicas, which states:
"Give us the right to decide about our bodies. And grant us the grace to neither be virgins nor mothers. Free us from the authority of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, so we are the ones who decide for us. Pray that justice does not follow the order of the Church and be free from  misogynist oppression. We come to the right to deny that the fruit of our body is blessed. Lead us not into temptation, not to fight for our rights. And grant us the miracle of legalization of abortion in Argentina. Amen ".
From "Mujeres publicas comes the feminist battle cry:
"The Pope is Argentinian and abortion is prohibited. If the Pope were a woman, abortion would be law. "
The petition against the blasphemous and anti-clerical exhibition with a request that the exhibition is addressed to the museum director and at the same time to the Spanish Government.

French Justice: Prison for Insulting Islam -- Paid For Desecrating Notre Dame

Anti-Christ
Edit: it's hard to believe that for years, certain apologists of the French Revolution denied that a prostitute dressed as "Reason" was paraded to the High Altar in Notre Dame to sing ribald songs.
Surely French Justice will some day become a familiar oxymoron.
(Paris) Double standards of anti-Christian political correctness have been proven by French judge. They have condemned two women because they deposited a pig's head outside a mosque, but let nine Femen mercenaries free, although they had defiled the Cathedral of Paris.
The Cathedral of Paris and thus to violate important church in France is less severe storm than any mosque? Yes, says a French judge and precipitated acquittal and conviction.
Two women have been convicted in France for nine months of prison, because they deposited a pig's head in front of the Mosque of Mayotte.  For six months they were released on probation, but   three of those months they spent in jail.

Condemned for "Incitement to Hatred"

Judgment was given by the Criminal Division of Mamoudzou on 18 September. The incident occurred in the last New Year's Eve. After a night of drinking with much alcohol put a woman to redeem a lost bet, before the mosque a pig's head. The second woman was sentenced because she had put the pig's head available. The husband's first wife was also sentenced because he had brought the car in front of the mosque. The sentencing took place because of "incitement to hatred, violence and discrimination based on belonging to a religion."

Political mercenaries from Femen acquitted

The judgment of Mamoudzou carried out under existing penal provisions. However, it irritated many French. Many wonder why three people go to jail because they place two pig's heads in front of  a mosque - a mosque they never set foot in -  while nine Femen activists who several   times violated the Notre Dame Cathedral of Paris  be acquitted by a criminal senate in Paris. The political mercenaries of Femen, stripped to the waist and painted anti-church and blasphemous slogans invaded the cathedral, while shouting blasphemous-sexist slogans, completed sacrilegious acts, jumped on the altar and damaged a bell. The desecrated cathedral had to be rededicated, each by its own rite, before any rituals could be performed again.  Femen to see the article Who's behind Femen and their anti-Christian protest? Paid activists from the red light district .

The Damage also Scorn: Church Must Have Femen Pay Damages

The Parisian judges also ordered  that the "sex tremistinnen" as the anti-Christian political mercenaries called themselves, must be paid damages. The Archdiocese of Paris will have to pay each prostitute 1,500 euros in damages because the security service of the Cathedral had dared to carry the "ladies" against their will from the Cathedral.
Would the judgment have also failed if Femen had stormed a mosque? In France, there's good reason for doubt. It remains to be seen if   FEMEN-women will set  foot  in a mosque and dare  to attack Muslim representatives in any way, while the list of damages in church desecrations, including the Cologne Cathedral, and attacks on Catholic bishops and cardinals, including the Cardinals Leonard (Brussels) and Rouco (Madrid), is getting longer.
For a French judge the desecration of the country's most important Catholic Cathedral is less serious than an offensive act against any mosque. The varying standards of politically correct Christian hostility.

Pope Francis Kisses Hand of Aberrosexual Activist

(Vatican) Two days ago, the Salesians of Don Michele De Paolis was received by Pope Francis on May 6.  The 93 years old priest concelebrated Holy Mass in the morning with the Pope in the guest house Santa Marta.  The founder and now the Honorary President of Emmaus Community in the Apulian city of Foggia  then met  for "a few minutes" with the Pope  At the end the Pope kissed  his visitor's  hand.   The scene has been a bit irritating and in itself bizarre.  What Pope  actually kisses people on the hand?

Don De Paolis and his companion gave the pontiff a chalice and a paten made of olive wood.  A friendly gesture and a gift, if not suitable, according to  prescriptions by the Church for use at Mass.  But such "little things" have never bothered Don Michele De Paolis, who also presented the Pope   his most recent book entitled: "An Inconvenient Priest" (Un prete scomodo), plus a prayer request.  Pope Francis, still not quite familiar with the Italian language, unintentionally mixed up "scomodo" with "incomodo" which means "A Priest Makes the Circumstances".  What some Catholics from Puglia think is quite correct.  The real surprise, however, came at the end of the short encounter, when the Pope kissed Don De Paolis on the hand. A gesture  revealing the humility of a great man to another of the same stature," as the Left-leaning internet daily L'immediato gushed.

Pope Francis: "Everything is possible.   Talk to Cardinal Maradiaga "

"Don Michele" as the priest is called by all, reported on his Facebook page about the meeting with the Pope.   "I concelebrated with the Pope Francis.  I read the Gospel  After the celebration, the Pope greeted those present in another room.  We, I and my companions were the last."   "Last "," marginalized, "" marginalized ", "outcast" is  the standard vocabulary of self-understanding which is the unmistakably recognizeable in the vocabulary of the radical Left.   In fact, the contacts are very good in this direction.   Apulia is governed by professed homosexual and Communist Nichi Vendola since 2005.

De Paolis continued on his Facebook entry with what he told the pope: "We want so much for us an audience of Emmaus.   Is that possible? '  "Anything is possible.  Talk to  Cardinal Maradiaga and he shall prepare everything.'  And then (unbelievably) he kissed my hand!    I  hugged him  and wept." His emotion is understandable.   One should nevertheless beware of falling in the direction of this  lexical trap,  this anarcho-Catholicism.  It  juggles with emotional terms, while its diction is to think Marxist.  Clueless outsiders can be easily lulled  into it themselves.   The "ideological" Christianity which Pope Francis had already repeatedly criticized as  head of the Church was incarnate in the person before him. . But instead of a warning, he kissed the Southern Italian "Don Gallo" on the hand (to Don Gallo see the report Don Gallo, the Priest who Denied Almost Everything - Goes to the Grave in Scandal ).

 An Ideological Christianity

Don Michele De Paolis is almost a cliché of   priests, who  would be expected behind the title he has chosen for his book.  The "inconvenient" priest violates the unmistakable identifying feature of rules and dogmas and floats within the Church "usually against the current."  De Paolis who came from a wealthy family  (born 1921) is described by friends as an "extremely complex" personality.  When the war ended, he entered the Salesian order, was several years in the mission to Central America, moved politically far to the left and made  liberation theology his own.   He had a  predisposition to it which he brought already from Europe.

Everything happens on an interpersonal level, from, is socially motivated, the "enemy is right" and so one never quite knows whether  there is   a priest, a social worker or a political activist before him.  Whether it is  abortion, euthanasia and homosexuality he has an "authentic answer, not hiding behind the dogmas," as it says in a review of his book.

The decisive factor is that even among his own, he just always clearly knows that he does not belong, so  one distances oneself.   Here is the "free", undogmatic, human, "true", "prophetic" do-it-yourself Church, there the dark, dogmatic, Inhuman, obsessed with gaining power official Church.  It is the adaptation of the Marxist view of the constantly angry workers against the exploitation by capital.  It is the world of the "authentic man" who is constantly angry with the "injustice" in the world.   What is "unfair", coincides again with the Marxist world view.   Any doubt is entitled, according to Don Michele and requires a response.   At the same time he adds in a dialectical circular argument: "None of us has the truth."

The secular-anti-clerical "Credo" by Don Michele

On his Facebook page, can be found his personal "Credo" of the elderly, but tireless (No pasaran) Priest:  "I feel secular, as a humble believer, always looking for a willing, unselfish, in selfless service in the Christian, community and society, on the side of the last. I feel anticlerical, that is of belonging to no caste, any category; I do not feel as an official religion.  I try to give people peace and joy that is located in the most dramatic situations of existence: infidels, unchurched, divorced, on the way to  an abortion, homosexuals,   desperate, the variety of the marginalized. Seeking the light of the Gospel in the Church on controversial issues, such as the celibacy of priests, women priests, pedophilia, disease and the end of life." Not only homosexuality, but also pedophilia?

Among the favorites of the secular anti-clerical priest is the atheist Eugenio Scalfari, who gives the path to a march outside of the Church in politics and culture on the Apennine Peninsula.

The Church's Position on Homosexuality is "Maximum Hypocrisy"

In 2010  Don Michele De Paolis founded along with "respectful atheists", homosexuals and Gabriele Scalfarotto a gay group AGeDO (Faith and Homosexuality). Scalfarotto is a "tough campaigner in the battle for the rights of LGBT people."   Don Michele is with him to fight this battle and win," said the LGBT group Christians of Palermo.   On  homosexuality and homosexuals these priests of the  left has clear ideas: "Today the Church's attitude to homosexuals is strict, inhuman and has caused much suffering by claiming that homosexuality is sin.   Some church people say, 'It is acceptable to be gay, but they must not have any relationships, they can not love each other'!    The maximum is hypocrisy.  This is like talking to a plant, and saying, you can not bloom, you may not bear fruit.'   That already is against nature!" Said the priest in an interview with the LGBT group Bethel of Genoa.

"Not Everyone in the Church Suffers from Homophobia"

Don Michele De Paolis is a "fighter against all the prejudices that must be eradicated from the minds and hearts of many people he meets along the way as a priest. That is the least that anyone can do every day, whether it is religious or not religious, says Don Michele."  And anyway, says De Paolis,  in the  "holy Church of God, not everyone is  suffering from homophobia."  Therefore, the priest wrote in an article for the LGBT group from Lecce: "Those who want   to make you 'heterosexuals', as it is called,  would be force you to act contrary to nature and to make you unhappy psychopaths.   We need to put into our heads that God our Father wants us, his children, to be happy, by making fruitful the gifts that He has placed us in our 'nature'!  (...) You have the right  to go looking for a partner.  And be quite unconcerned: where agape is, is God.   Live your love with joy.   And with our mother Church we must have patience. Her attitude to homosexuals will change.   In this sense numerous initiatives have already  been engaged. "

Danger of "Fundamentalism": "Not to Take Literally What is in The Bible"

In another essay, De Paolis wrote in connection with homosexuality: "We must liberate our thinking from a risk: fundamentalism, that is, to take literally what the Bible says. The new obedience to the gospel is free, responsible and conscious.  Instead of wasting energy in endless religious polemics, it aims to  a new Christian spirituality of joyful acceptance of yourself forming  gratitude to God, knowing that homosexual love is His gift, which is not less than the heterosexual. "

Pope Francis kissed the anarcho priest's hand. What did he mean by that?

Limburg (kath.net)  Regarding contradiction to statements of DBK-test report that were made in statements by the Bishop Emeritus (since March 27th) of Limburg, Franz-Peter Tebartz van Elst, which were reported on Wednesday evening by a variety of media. With remarks on five subject areas as well as the St. Georg work he refers unexpected counter-position to the report of the German Bishops' Conference.

Opinion of Bishop Franz-Peter van Elst Tebartz the report of the examination of the German Bishops Conference in text

1 Complex: Regarding the imputed discrepancy between the understanding of the bishop and the data compared from His Eminence Cardinal Lajolo (. NG. p. 46; p. 51 para 25 and 29; p.103) is as follows:

Already in October 2013, I had responded to  the questions asked me, submitted under No. l |  6. that I was truthfully informed  during a conversation with His Eminence Cardinal Lajolo, on 10 September 2013, that the differentiated total sum calculation was not available.  In the previous meetings of the Financial Board of Directors of the  Episcopal chair it was of the necessity and the effort to discuss again and again, possible depreciation be taken into account, which would then lead to reductions in terms of the construction cost total.

In the report referred to by the meeting of the Board of Directors of assets on 28 August 2013, after I had a discussion  about which informed regarding expansion of the scope of credit, I wasn't present for  the report because I  was at a meeting with the Prefect of the Congregation for Bishops, His Eminence Marc Cardinal Ouellet in Rome.

Also the assertion of the report, according to the signing of the minutes of the meeting of the Finance Board of 28 August 2013 was made by me on 11 September 2013, can not be cited as proof of my knowledge of the differentiated sum of total construction costs. The conversation with His Eminence Cardinal Lajolo took place the day before and on the day the minutes of the meeting of 28 August 2013  were delivered to me Vicar General Dr. Kaspar, so that only at that time  that an assessment on my part in any detail was possible.

Rome's approval was shown to be a unnecessary precaution, however, by  the representative of the Holy See in Germany, who was Archbishop Jean-Claude Périsset, since the start of construction in 2010/2011, who was informed several times by Vicar General Dr. Kaspar (see the attached in the appendix letter of attorney Professor ignor forward November 5 2013, and my answer to the specific questions that were put to me in October 2013 by the Congregation for Bishops, see here: Nr. | .5, 6).

2 Complex:

As far as canonical concerns are expressed, they are based on compliance with the written form (see test report p 15 and p 37) and related to  the respect of the business meeting. Both objects formal nature fell under the responsibility of the Vicar General. As a non-expert in the field of church administration since  my expertise is in pastoral theology, I had to leave the responsibility for this to the Vicar General, Dr. Kaspar, the "as the only (besides the Managing Director of the  Diocese) was found to have a comprehensive insight into the asset structure the Episcopal chair."(cf., audit report p. 50 para. 21).

Incidentally, the path taken represents a continuation of the preceding exercise of the cathedral chapter in this field.

 3 Complex:

On the alleged ultimate responsibility of the bishop in the report, I understand this has always been so that they themselves as the successors of the apostles are to head the Church by the Lord   (witness to the truth),  not just as an expression of administrative detail and total competence. A differing understanding would invest the dignity of the Episcopate with criteria where it is seen  primarily as an administrative professional, engineering and accounting profession, instead of focusing on its doctrinal, pastoral, spiritual and charitable mission.

4 Complex:

The responsibilities of the Vicar General (see p 35, p 39 and p 101): At the beginning of my episcopal ministry in the diocese of Limburg in January 2008, I arrived in a situation that was in many ways unordered,   primarily of a personal aspect of administration.  This prompted me not least on the explicit advice of my predecessor in the episcopate, Bishop Emeritus Dr. Franz Kamphaus, back in September 2009, recommending  Vicar General Dr. Franz Kaspar for the social and public recognition of his management experience and his standing in the office of vicar general.

He urged for greater administrative efficiency that directly allocated the building department and care for art  in the Diocese which had become detached from  integration to the financial department.

He also stressed the role of the diocesan  economist in the diocese, contrary to the previous practice of the appointment of the head of the finance department with this responsibility.
He has taken in its jurisdiction and the banking business. Based on the construction of the Bishop's house, he has operated the change from the second design (architect Hamm) to the design of Professor Schattner as essential.

Regarding the art assigned in the bishop's house, he took the initiative to engage the artists Professor Johannes Schreiter (glass window), Karl-Matthew Winter ( Features of the chapel) and Professor Thomas Duttenhofer (gate), with which he had complete personally awareness.

Among the existing historic furniture from storage, he had acquired furniture on his own initiative and without my knowledge.

As to  the supposition of the requirement of secrecy it is known, that  the relevant provisions in the service contracts between the Diocese and the Episcopal chair are identical (see the attached in the annex two service contracts). Also, in practice, there was no divergent handling by me.

Specific issues in the diocese of Limburg, which was characterized before my arrival by indiscretions (see letter from Professor Christoph Mackler of 20 August 2008 on the construction of the cathedral chapter, see also audit report S . 100), it nevertheless suggested to repeatedly refer to a self-evident confidentiality obligation. Because also the previous history of the construction of the  the Bishop's House demonstrates  how difficult transparency was to come by,  which  came out later only with difficulty.

Deciding to undertake the settlement with KPMG (see p 69 and p 88 ), struck me as a forward-looking measure (outsourcing) as well as to counter the allegation of a mere internal self-control.

Moreover, the administrative capacity of the Episcopal Ordinariate was not enough to accomplish this task.

 5 Complex:

On listing the drivers of cost  and cost-increasing issues (pp. 79-82) is noted:

In the audit report a  representation of the total cost, which is exaggerated in a methodological error, that  names the absolute amounts  as constituting additional costs, while they  are proven to be the total cost of individual positions. The  impression  thus is created that leads to orders of magnitude, which must irritate.

For each of the points mentioned in the report,  a position could be taken by the responsible employees. As for the responsibility as a bishop, while the constraint has to be seen that I, as bishop, am neither a financial nor a construction expert.  In so far as the specific information with the individual items mentioned in the report for which I was  personally responsible, I have this spoken on this  in the discussions 4 and 5 March 2014 at the Congregation for Bishops. On the background of my predicament with experiences of other construction projects in the Diocese, I was involved with from the beginning in terms of the quality and sustainability to be considered in the overall project.

Digression to the St. Georg work (p. 32f.):

True, the report notes that "the judgment, that the statutory  purpose of the work in 2011 can not be met, which falls to the bishop. (Cf. 5:32). The report's authors consider a need to clarify whether the Episcopal See’s  funds were used for the specific purpose of the founding. You see in the abolition decree of the bishop there is a restriction of the original purpose.

For this purpose, however, it is different from the external  repeal Decree of 27 September 2011, the minutes of the Board of Directors of the assets Episcopal chair of 2 November 2011 shows that even after the dissolution of the St. Georg Work, that the assets devolving to the Episcopal See will and must be used furthermore for "religious, charitable or benevolent purposes".

This shows that there is nothing in the foundation's intention of the St. Georg work that has changed, regardless of the question whether the work's foundation in the immediate postwar period foresaw the construction of a diocesan meeting center. The open question of law in this context, the demand by the authors of the report to clarify,  considers the fact that there can be no accusations of an intentional violation of the purpose (See minutes of the VVR November 2, 2011).

The person responsible for the decision, Vicar General and Diocesan Economist Dr. Franz Kaspar, was in fact obviously aware that the founding intention of the work is still covered by the assets of the Episcopal See and is guaranteed.  I was sure of this certainty

Edit: the good Bishop has since apologized of course.  We haven't seen the apology, but are certain that all of this is sensible and unnecessarily complicated by the media's nastiness.

Fontgambault: "Outraged" Remove Monks from List of Eligible Voters

(Paris) The small village Fontgombault in Berry in central France is known mainly by Old Ritual Benedictines. But even by its militant Catholic mayor.  Despite secular state doctrine, he begins council meetings with a prayer. Fontgombault forms a separate municipality and has 258 voters. 70 voters are the monks of the abbey. This drives some Church enemies to fits of rage. Especially since Jacques Tissier, the longtime mayor of Fontgombault, took a stand against the new "gay marriage"  law.  The opponents of the mayor now want to exclude monks from the voters' lists   to influence the upcoming municipal election.

Mayor: "There is a Natural Law that Stands Above the Laws of Man"

In May 2013, the "gay marriage" in France had been pressed against fierce opposition from the people of the socialist government. Jacques Tissier, since 1977, Mayor of Fontgombault and practicing Catholic, said last November in a newspaper interview: "There is a natural law that stands above the laws of man."   On 24 October, the council had unanimously adopted a decision  at his request that municipal government and local council resign en bloc, should the  community  be forced to have to perform a "marriage" of two homosexuals. It is known that the mayor will consult the abbot of the monastery before important decisions.
By the decision  proponents of "gay marriage" and Church opponents became aware of the small village. They have publicly called upon homosexuals to become "married" in the City Hall of the central French community  for the purpose of forcing the resignation of the "scandalous" the mayor with his "shocking" views. But so far, no one has undertaken to put this challenge into action. So Jacques Tissier and his Catholic council majority still administrate the tranquil ten and a half square kilometer site.

Local Elections: Change Voter Lists to Create a New Majority

On 23 and 30   March, however, there will be local elections in France. The dismissal of the mayor was not successful and the prospect of a different majority do not seem to be very great. So Tissier's political opponents and the monks who have been constituted as "list of outraged", to  reduce the weight of the Catholics on the route of administration, by  denying monks the right to vote.

"We Have had Enough of the Catholic Robes"

The electoral  group "Outraged of  Fontgombault " claims that some of the monks are not eligible to vote. "The monks have been too long a political weight in our community. That has to change. We have had enough of the Catholic robes," says André Antigny, the leader of the "Outraged" in the anti-clerical tone, who competes as a mayoral candidate for his party. Six years ago, he had unsuccessfully challenged  Tissier. Now he is looking for another way. He turned to the court of Chateauroux and requesting the removal of monks from the voter lists Fontgombault.

Strong Growth in Abbey: Already Five Daughter Houses

The judges gave that the "outraged" Antigny was not entirely in the right, but ordered the deletion of ten monks anyway. At least four percent of the electorate. The measure was justified by the fact that these monks would no longer live in Fontgombault, but at the Abbey of Saint-Paul de Wisques. From the Abbey Fontgombault there have been five daughter houses founded because of the numerous growth in the past 40 years which created four abbeys and a priory. The Benedictine Abbey of Wisques is the latest foundation. To be precise, the Old Ritual monks of Fontgombault were asked by the monks of New Rite Wisques to take over the abbey, as their convent had a lack of  vocations and became too small.
The lawyer for the abbey Fontgombault appealed against the court's decision because the relocation of the monks to Wiques is not yet definitive. The revival of the local abbey is on 10 October 2013 is done, but the composition of the local new convention is not yet definitive. The monks are therefore still registered in the town Fontgombault.

"Monks Hinder the Laicism of our Community"

The "List of Outraged" emerged after the council decision of 24 October against "gay marriage" law.  It is the merger of the old Left and anti-Clericals of the village under a new name. Traditionally, there are two monks in the local council."That's only fair," says Mayor Tissier. "We attach great importance to this presence. The Abbey is a quarter of our community. Thus, the monks are underrepresented even significantly with two representatives, but 'Outraged" is of a completely different opinion.  Antigny: "The monks hinder the laicism [secularism] of our community."
The lawyer of the Abbey lodged an appeal with the Court of Cassation in Paris.   He received the reply: "The only objective of the 'Outraged' is to eliminate voters from the opposing camp. But that contradicts the letter and spirit of our democracy. "
