Grooming Bishops and Clergy Looking for More Victims at America Magazine?

Edit: encouraging people to follow in this will inevitably lead to tremendous unhappiness and misery.  It doesn't matter if society as a whole endorses or is indifferent to the degeneracy.  The wages of sin are death, and these Bishops are just looking to widen the pool of potential prey, is how it looks from our point of view. I've never seen grooming on an industrial scale like this outside of Hollywood and the US Congress.  These bishops are setting the stage.  What do you think?

[America] A group of U.S. Catholic bishops, including a cardinal and an archbishop, have signed a statement of support for L.G.B.T. youth, telling them, “God created you, God loves you and God is on your side.”

“As we see in the Gospels, Jesus Christ taught love, mercy and welcome for all people, especially for those who felt persecuted or marginalized in any way; and the Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches that LGBT people are to be treated with ‘respect, compassion and sensitivity,’” reads the statement, released by the Tyler Clementi Foundation, an organization that fights L.G.B.T. bullying in schools, workplaces and faith communities.

Among those signing the statement were Cardinal Joseph Tobin, archbishop of Newark, and Archbishop John Wester, who leads the Archdiocese of Santa Fe.

"Culture of Fornication": Argentina's Bergoglian Bishops -- Case Macri to Case Aguer

(Buenos Aires) The bergoglian Argentine bishops, the greater the confusion seems to be (see The contradictions of the Church "the open doors": Argentine President Must not be Godfather ). The Archbishop of La Plata, the historic opponent of Jorge Mario Bergoglio in Argentine episcopate, criticized in a column the widespread "culture of fornication." His brother bishops distanced themselves from him.

The Case Macri and Political Antipathies

The newborn son from a Catholic  family with many children was denied baptism in Bergoglio's Archdiocese of Buenos Aires because - according to an Argentine tradition, the sponsor for the seventh child is the President -  who since December 2015, is the incumbent president Mauricio Macri, a remarried divorcee, who had been rejected as godfather.

Macri, who displaced the previously ruling (left) Peronist from power last fall, has ever since been the validly declared main enemy. It's a conflict that seems to have been transferred to the Church. That Pope Francis would have preferred the Left-Peronist candidate in the presidential palace, is an open secret.  A donation of the new president to the Pontifical University Foundation Scholas Occurrentes was returned in April's return mail to the donor. In other words: The donation came from the wrong (political) area, with which one would not even have anything to do in terms of good works. It was a veritable papal disavowal of a head of state.
The same had happened already in July 2015 at the Pope's visit to Latin America. While the Catholic Church leader met with the left presidents of Ecuador and Bolivia, dazzling the mind and   also expressed this in front of the photographer, Francis went against the conservative President of Paraguay on a collision course. He made unheard of public criticisms of the head of state to thousands citizens and the highest dignitaries of the country and they were also completely groundless allegations . It would be difficult to express (political) sympathies and antipathies more outwardly.
No wonder then that Argentina's bishops and pastors, at least those who want to be particularly bergoglian, follow the example of the Pope, and in turn disavow President Macri. The reel of rejection of Macri as godfather was opened at the Cathedral of Buenos Aires, the long-term "domestic church" of the current Pope, where he made his successor Msgr. Mario Aurelio Poli, a close friend and even created him a cardinal.

The Case of Archbishop Aguer

There isn't just friction between  the Pope and President.  There had been friction long before the papal election between the Archbishop of Buenos Aires and the "conservative" Archbishop of La Plata, Msgr. Héctor Aguer.  Jorge Mario Bergoglio in the Argentine Bishops' Conference was like a leader of the "doves", while Archbishop Héctor Aguer was the spokesman of the "hawks".

Archbishop Aguer: culture of fornication

Since Cardinal Bergoglio had become Pope, he has been undermining the "hawks" by his new appointments, stripping feathers. But still the pugnacious archbishop of La Plata is in his office. In May 2018 he completes his 75th year.
In the daily newspaper El Día of La Plata Archbishop Aguer writes a regular column in which he knows how to swim against the current, as well as in his most recent column of August 23. Under the title "La Fornicación" to English "Fornication," where he raised his voice against "lewd culture", sexuality and love "trivialized".
What does he mean by a "culture of fornication," the archbishop explained with a practical example. He cited the Brazilian press, which had calculated that in just 17 days an average of 42 condoms were used by each participant at the Summer Olympics. Sexual intercourse with multiple partners, who are often perfect strangers, is a behavior that are in themselves, "animalistic," said the Archbishop. He used a popular Latin American gutter expression.
Among other things, Msgr. Aguer criticized the gender ideology and "other unnatural relationships." The Archbishop took up the cudgel for lifelong marriage in mutual love and respect between a man and a woman, and for the ability to bond, which sees destroyed contra naturam  through the fornication.
In this context, the archbishop engaged clear criticism of aberrosexual relationships and the possibility for them to adopt children.

The "trouble of the Church"

Archbishop Héctor Aguer drew with this column not only the wrath of liberals and the aberro-associations, but also his brother bishops.
In the issue from August 28 the newspaper La Nacion, the Argentine "house organ" of Pope Francis, published the article "Trouble in the Church on the Nature and Language of Msgr. Hector Aguer". The article "reflects," says the author, the "reaction of the Church" (!) to the column by Archbishop Aguer.
The article quotes three bishops who take a position against the Archbishop of La Plata  but remain anonymous.
"The same bishops who insisted in a conservative position in the case of Macri, represented in case Aguer the exact opposite, and therefore a liberal position," said Secretum meum mihi .
The distancing from Archbishop Aguer is established by the first anonymous bishops with "his language" and "his method."
The second anonymous bishop is quoted as saying that the column of Msgr. Aguer "is not representing the concerns of the Church, especially in a moment like this, with its much more important problems."
A third anonymous bishop reiterates the statement that it is indeed important that the people to know what the Church teaches on sexual morality and marriage, "but now tries to mediate teaching in a context of respect for individual freedom of believers."

Magister: A Letter From the Apostle Paul to the Synod

Edit: it will probably appear soon enough in English, but sometimes the practice is good.  Besides, Magister's observation about the readings at the Synod are cutting, if not prophetic.

(Rome) Currently, the Synod Fathers are discussing the divorced and remarried, and homosexuality.   Sandro Magister points out how the readings of Holy Mass gives an answer to the controversial questions posed by the  Synod Fathers.  This happened in relation to homosexuality the past few days.

The Word of Apostle Paul --- without Censure

By Sandro Magister

Since the Synod Fathers have begun with the discussion of the third part of Instrumentum laboris, that one with the controversial statements, the Masses for each day contain a section from the Letter to the Romans, the theological masterpiece by the Apostle Paul.

Also here, as it so happens, was on Sunday, the 4th of October with the opening Mass, as it is in all the churches throughout the world, the words of Jesus in the Gospel of Mark were heard: "What God hath joined together, let no man put asunder. " (See Erste Rede bei Bischofssynode hält der Heilige Geist – Exklusiv der vollständige Wortlaut )

What a Coincidence: Holy Scripture Gives the Answer to Homosexuality

However, the coincidence between Synod and order of readings had nothing to do with the indissolubility of marriage, but with another hot topic: the homosexuality.

On Tuesday, the 13th of October, the first chapter of the Letter to the Romans included a reading if verses16-25.

Paulus says therein: "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and injustice of those men that detain the truth of God in injustice:  Because that which is known of God is manifest in them. For God hath manifested it unto them. For the invisible things of him, from the creation of the world, are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made; his eternal power also, and divinity: so that they are inexcusable."

And further: " Because that, when they knew God, they have not glorified him as God, or given thanks; but became vain in their thoughts, and their foolish heart was darkened. For professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. And they changed the glory of the incorruptible God into the likeness of the image of a corruptible man, and of birds, and of fourfooted beasts, and of creeping things. Wherefore God gave them up to the desires of their heart, unto uncleanness, to dishonour their own bodies among themselves. Who changed the truth of God into a lie; and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen."

The Reading Itself Ended Here But Not Paul's Letter

In the Mass of the 13th of October the reading ended at this point and continued the next day with the second chapter of the letter to the Romans.

Indeed, the first chapter of the letter of Paul to the Romans did not end  at this point. The reading bashfully omitted this passage, of which the Synod Fathers themselves can't be ignorant.

Paul continued and clearly said what he meant with this reference by "impurity,"   „to dishonor their bodies among themselves."

It is there with the unsettling completion of the first chapter in the Letter to the Romans:

For this cause God delivered them up to shameful affections. For their women have changed the natural use into that use which is against nature. And, in like manner, the men also, leaving the natural use of the women, have burned in their lusts one towards another, men with men working that which is filthy, and receiving in themselves the recompense which was due to their error.  And as they liked not to have God in their knowledge, God delivered them up to a reprobate sense, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all iniquity, malice, fornication, avarice, wickedness, full of envy, murder, contention, deceit, malignity, whisperers, Detractors, hateful to God, contumelious, proud, haughty, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Foolish, dissolute, without affection, without fidelity, without mercy. Who, having known the justice of God, did not understand that they who do such things, are worthy of death; and not only they that do them, but they also that consent to them that do them.

Catechism of 1997: Homosexuality is a sin that "cries to heaven."

If Paul says that, then it is clear that the Synod Fathers, who are aiming to alter the doctrinal and pastoral paradigms of the Church in matters of homosexuality, will surely have some difficulties to bring their proposals into agreement with the "Word of the living God", as it shows at the end of a reading in Holy Mass.

It is even more increasingly clear that in substantial parts of the Church that the portrayal of practicing homosexuality as a sin is disappearing as a relic of the past. And although the Catechism of the Catholic Church, not that of the celebrated Pius X of 1905, but the "new" one of 1992 in the Editio typica of  1997,  just as before, "the sin of homosexuality" is among the "sins crying to heaven," together with murder, oppression of the poor and withholding the payment of just wages.

Those who wish to endorse  homosexuality can be contradicted  with the argument that it would be praeter Scripturum,   that it's not only outside of scripture, but would even be  against Holy Scripture. This is what Waldensian pastor  Paolo Ricca  did in 2011 and countered his Protestant confreres who were endorsing homosexuality.

Even in the Catholic world there are no lack of Catholic theologians and bishops who are prepared to maintain, that Saint Paul is not to be taken literally, but in the  historical "context" of his time, which had been heavily prejudiced, "patriarchal", and full of "ethno-religious condemnation," which today would be unacceptable.

The Franco-German "shadow synod," which took place last May in the Gregoriana, whose main actors sit in the real synod, themselves maintain exactly this modern "reading" of Holy Scripture in the light of predominant modern thought.

Evil Dominican Tapped For Important Post

Edit: interesting that these appointments are going out over the weekend so people can't comment as readily.

This is almost as hair raising as the Bishop of Rome's retainer of this the predator enabler, Cardinal Daneels.

Even EWTN put their foot down since his violent advocacy for sexual deviancy is so pronounced.

Crux reports:

[Crux] One of the Church’s most controversial theologians, and a strong ally of Pope Francis, was given a boost by the Holy See Saturday.

In a move sure to raise eyebrows among the Church’s traditional guard, Pope Francis named the Rev. Timothy Radcliffe a consultor to the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, the Vatican announced Saturday.

The head of the Dominican Order for nearly a decade in the 1990s and a professor of theology at Oxford, the English-born Radcliffe has repeatedly challenged Catholic attitudes toward women, gays and lesbians, and the divorced.

Roman Reproach to the Philippine Bishops for Their Opposition to "Reproductive Health"

Pierre de Charentenay SJ
(Rome / Manila) Just before the pastoral visit of Pope Francis to the Philippines there appeared in Belgium a book that deals with the Catholics of this island nation. The author is the Jesuit Pierre de Charentenay, who is on the permanent staff of the Jesuit journal La Civilta Cattolica in Rome. In the book "Les Philippines, archipelago asiatique et catholique" (The Philippines, Asian and Catholic Archipelago), published by the Jesuit Publisher Lessius éditions in Namur,  de Charentenay criticized the Philippine bishops because of their stubborn resistance to new state laws that aim to legalize contraception, abortion, divorce and "gay marriage." Pope Francis hasn't offered a word to  defend them.
The South and Southeast Asia visit of the Pope from 12 to 19th January, in terms of global media interest, was reduced to the statement that "good Catholics" should not multiply like "rabbits".  One of those tossed in statements that increasingly characterize this pontificate. At this rate, decades later it will be recalled when the pontificate of the Argentine Pope is long past.
The statement was indeed of a general nature, but is easy to apply to  the papal destination of the Philippines. The archipelago forms the largest Catholic nation in Asia. And Filipinos are still happy about offspring.

Hardly Related to Country and Folk Elements in Pope's Speeches

Subjecting all speeches of the Pope, both prepared and spontaneous, an analysis, it is found that it hardly find specific references to the country and people. Here, the Philippines next to the young and small East Timor, the only predominantly Catholic country in Asia huge.
The Catholic church in the country became known worldwide for its leadership role in the peaceful popular uprising that the end of the reign of Ferdinand Marcos brought about in 1986. His widow took almost 30 years later, some with millions of other Filipinos at the Papal Mass in Manila. Otherwise, the Catholic island nation remained little attention.Today Filipinos form an army of millions of Catholic immigrant workers in the Islamic monarchies on the Arabian Peninsula.

De Charentenay's Book About the Catholic Philippines

The eminent French Jesuit, Pierre de Charentenay set himself the task to close the gaps in knowledge about the Catholic Philippines. De Charentenay is the current director of the Jesuit College Centre Sèvres de Paris, and from 2004-2012 Editor of the French Jesuit journal Etudes. Since 2013, he has worked as a regular contributor to the Civiltà Cattolica has climbed the "Olympus" of Jesuit magazines. As is well known, each article of the Roman Jesuit journal appears after prior control with explicit permission to print from the Vatican. Chief Editor Father Antonio Spadaro is currently one of the reigning Pope's  closest confidants.
The importance of the book by Father de Charentenay draws attention to  a barely noticed event. Vatican spokesman Father Federico Lombardi, also a Jesuit, recommended reading the book in preparation for the papal visit to accredited journalists. "A fortiori, it may be assumed with good reason that Pope Francis will have read the book," said Vatican expert Sandro Magister.
Father de Charentenay has visited the Philippines several times since 1982, and in 2013 lived there for almost a year on the islands. The book reads in one breath. The language is fluid, the details are well-founded, the historical survey is  accurate. The Frenchman appears as an attentive observer, but also holds some surprises ready for the reader.
It's astonishing, for example, that generous public forgiveness and allowances are granted in the Philippines by the state and by the community for serious crimes. The largest prison in the country Father de Charentenay describes as a giant village, within which the prisoners can move and organize freely.
Although these typical Filipino forms could  appeal to the mildness Pope Francis, who made the forgiveness of "mercy" as the core interest of his pontificate, he did not respond.

Praise for Government and their Divorce, Aberro-, Abortion and Contraception Agenda

Father de Charentenay also devotes a detailed chapter to the lengthy and harsh conflict between the Philippine bishops and the Government on the law about "reproductive health".
The author proves that he is by no means "neutral" on this point. He  frankly sides with the "Catholic" President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III. and whose government,  which has proposed and passed laws rejected by the Catholic bishops. Against the wishes of the Catholic Church,  the "Catholic" government continues what  the international so-called "Overpopulation" agenda of the Club of Rome has to offer.
Similar positions are taken by de Charentenay in his book and in the Philippines to other controversial issues such as divorce, abortion and "gay marriage". The Jesuit goes so far as to criticize the Philippine bishops for their resistance as backward and outdated. Not only against the pressure of "modernity", but also the expectations of Pope Francis. De Charentenay writes:
"Pope Francis' statement, 'We can not just insist on the issues involved with abortion, gay marriage and the use of contraceptive methods. You can not. These are things that people should not talk about out of context and not constantly' -  while the bishops have been very outspoken and public about their opinion. The Conference of the Philippine bishops has still adhered to its opposition on the grounds of principle. "

Pontifical Silence and a Clear Message

Pope Francis did not address the battle of the Philippine bishops during his stay. Above all, he neither defended it against criticism nor did he encouraged them in their struggle. Since the Civiltà Cattolica is valid under the direction of Father Spadaro as the essential voice of the Pope, de Charentenay belongs to the editorial staff and since Vatican spokesman Lombardi recommended the book as a source of information, the Philippine bishops should have understood at the latest after the Pope's visit, that their position is not desired by current Rome. In a figurative sense, the statement of another Pope's confidant, the Honduran, Cardinal Maradiaga to Cardinal Müller seems to apply the Philippine bishops: "You should be a little flexible."

Europe Between Sodom and Gomorrha

(Rome) The historian Cristina Siccardi wrote for the Corrispondenza Romana a review of the book " L'Europe tra Sodoma e Gomorra " (Europe between Sodom and Gomorrah) by Danilo Quinto (Arkadia, Cagliari in 2014, 188 pages, € 15). [Ed: The book is not in English yet as far as we know.]
The foreword to the book was inspired by the late legal philosopher and papal critic Mario Palmaro. The last, that he published.  Danilo Quinto was for 20 years a militant representative of  the Radical Party of Italy, from which the former European Commissioner and abortion activist, Emma Bonino began her efforts. Ten years ago he found the Catholic faith through  his present wife and broke with the Radicals.
Is the title of his latest book, pure provocation, or does it really recall today's Europe to the two biblical cities that were punished by God because of the spread there of aberrosexuality and razed to the ground? "Danilo Quinto proves in this book with insightful and well-documented arguments that the comparison is entirely legitimate," Mario Palmaro writes in his preface. "It is a shockingly objective judgment, which not a few contemporaries will be thrown by the concept, who are used to a gentle and lulling politically correct language. And by that, I mean not only those engaged in the construction of a new world in which the criteria  of true and good  are turned on their heads, and work for this project of moral devastation. I also think of many people who are sensitive to the so-called non-negotiable values, whether individuals or institutions that would oppose this destruction of value."

Increase in Sexual Freedom, Loss of Mental powers

In the 70s a crisis of values was spoken of by the substitution of being with having, from the generation gap between children and parents. The idea of the Christian family, with God and His laws into the center, broke down. With a loud voice, on all fronts freedom was proclaimed by the rules: sexual freedom (licentiousness and immorality) to have freedom of divorce, to use freedom of contraceptives, freedom of abortion (murder), female emancipation (Feminism), gender equality, class hatred (envy) were very concrete, while the spiritual powers, those which allowed people to do the best in tests, to make sacrifices,  practice renunciation for a greater good, to perfect oneself, which baptism calls one to sanctify one's own life, was getting weaker and has almost completely lost its meaning and raison d'être.
Just as the good brings forth goods, evil brings out evils: in  2003 the European Parliament called on the Member States, to give same-sex pairs  equal rights. Simultaneously, the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union (Nice, 2000) recognized  for all the right to marry and form a "family". "These are the results of several decades of European secular culture that encourages the human dynamics, rather than to curb and steer. That should be their job, to serve the public good, which is not an abstract, but a thoroughly concrete category, it is the part of life of a community or at least should be. To be used for the common good, i.e. to act in the sense of ethics. Abortion and divorce are considered by the European policy as social phenomena. As such, they are perceived and accordingly can be covered using laws. It's exploitation. The policy uses the things of life, making of it a political instrument," says Quinto.

Race Between the Governments to Make "Demonic Decisions"

The author makes understandable, explained and presented with great expertise. Not only because he knows the history of Europe, not only because he detailed its various problems and the legislation of the various States shows they  try to outdo each other in ruthless and demonic choices, but because the destructive system that is directed against the Christian Civitas, he knows from the inside. Through his years of work in the Radical Party at the side of  radical secularists like Marco Pannella and Emma Bonino 1 he got to know the policies and strategies used in the field, followed by its flagellant machinery.

The author concludes his strikingly truth telling book with the commitment to trust in the intercession of the Mother of God and Virgin Mary, to whom he appeals as a militant and pious son.  "If our God-fearing, Catholic ancestors had seen today's world, they who were aware of the seriousness of the earthly as well as of the supernatural life,  would have been horrified and would have asked Christ  to punish this perverse society, just as Sodom and Gomorrah were punished, "  said Cristina Siccardi.
