The statements were made during a joint press conference on Monday with Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu.
Below is a video of John Henry Westen reading Bishop Shomali’s statement, and beneath that is a series of interviews that various expert commentators gave to Judge Andrew Napolitano on the Trump announcement.

It is the editorial policy of this website to praise what ought to be praised, and to criticize what ought to be criticized in this new administration. There is much to praise, but we are not cheerleaders for the administration, and no Catholic should carry water for what is morally wrong, as this plan for US participation in the ethnic cleansing of Gaza clearly is.

The people of that ancient land have lived there, despite invasions, occupations, deportations etc for thousands of years. It is their home and is not up for grabs by shiny pants resort developers like the rapacious Trump & Kushner.
Np problem with this sh*thole changing hands. Trump could not make it any worse than it is.
That "shit hole", now bombed more than Dresden, is still the ancestral home of millions who have live here for thousands of years. Like Greenland, it's not for sale, 'administration' or 'development' by Trump or the Israeli settlers who have, incidentally, migrated in great numbers from Russia and Queens, NY.
Trump was a failure at demographic shifts in his first term just as he is proving to be right now. The MAGA mob will not be amused. Look at the numbers: the Dems are way ahead in removing illegals:
