Hungarian Bishops Oppose Fiducia Supplicans

The Hungarian Bishops' Conference also opposes the Roman declaration of Fiducia supplicans

The rejection of the declaration of Fiducia supplicans poured over Rome like an avalanche.  Contradiction comes from all parts of the world.  After virtually all black African bishops' conferences, the Polish and Hungarian bishops' conferences have also rammed their "no" into the ground.

The Hungarian Bishops' Conference under its President Msgr. András Veres, Bishop of Győr, published a statement on Wednesday on the blessings for “irregular” couples.  Here is the full text:

“At Christmas we celebrated the joy that God is with us and for us, who with merciful love has invited all people to communion with him.  With this in mind, we, members of the Hungarian Bishops' Conference, address the pastors and believers of our local church with the following message.

The Declaration of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of Faith Fiducia Supplicans on the Pastoral Meaning of Blessings, issued on December 18, 2023, does not change the conviction and consistent teaching of the Catholic Church on marriage and sexual morality.  In view of the pastoral situation in our country, the Bishops' Conference specifies that all people can be blessed individually by pastors, regardless of their gender identity and sexual orientation, but a common blessing must be given to couples who are in a non-marital union, in a union that is not valid in the Church  Marriage or living in a same-sex partnership should always be avoided.

At the same time, let us accompany our sisters and brothers who live in special life situations with love and respect, and help them to gain a deeper understanding of God's will on the path of the Gospel of Christ.”

Monsignor János Székely, the Bishop of Szombathely, implemented the joint declaration of the Hungarian bishops in his diocese yesterday.  Msgr. Székely is a member of the four-member Permanent Council of the Bishops' Conference.  In his pastoral letter he writes:

 Bishop János Székely

“When a same-sex couple asks for a blessing, especially by asking for it together, they are expressing that they also want to ask for God's blessing and the Church's moral approval for their relationship and life choices.  We would be perverting the gospel of Christ and not doing what we should do as pastors to such a couple if we gave them a blessing in such a case.”

And further:

“The Gospel of Christ is not only about God’s infinite mercy, but it also calls us all to repentance.  If this second half is left out, it becomes a false Gospel.  Jesus calls us to enter through the narrow gate, for wide is the way that leads to destruction (Luke 13:24).  He invites us to light our candle and put on wedding clothes so that we will not find ourselves at the closed door on the last day (Matt. 22:11; 25:1-13).  Jesus protects marriage with special strength and jealous love: “God created man and woman at the beginning of creation.”

And as well:

“The Bible and the sacred tradition of the Church hold same-sex sexual relationships to be morally wrong (Genesis 19; Rom 1:26-27; 1 Cor 6:9-10; 1 Tim 1:10; CEC 2357).  The law of Christ is demanding, God’s mercy is not cheap mercy, His love is not lukewarm love.”

From this follows, according to Bishop Székely:

“Therefore, in accordance with the decision of the Hungarian Catholic Bishops' Conference, I call on priests not to bless same-sex couples in the Szombathely diocese.  Let us welcome with great love and respect our brothers and sisters who are attracted to people of the same sex, but let us not justify their wrong life choices, but rather help them on the path of life according to the Gospel of Christ.  This makes us real, authentic shepherds and brothers.”

The African, Polish and Hungarian Catholic Bishops have responded to the heretical and blasphemous errors of Fiducia Supplicans in a truly Catholic way. As Psalm 140(141): 1-9 states:

"Set, O Lord, a guard over my mouth; keep watch, O Lord, at the door of my lips! Do not turn my heart to things that are wrong, to evil deeds with men who are sinners. Never allow me to share in their feasting. If a good man strikes or reproves me it is kindness; but let the oil of the wicked not anoint my head. Let my prayer be ever against their malice."

Stoning is nowhere near good enough for these reprobates.

What does it mean to 'call on priests'? What are the penalties if they do it? All those who are upset about a 'synodal church,' are applauding the actions of bishops who don't say a word calling for the removal of this pope contradictor of Christ and his r(d)eformed curia, but merely call on their subjects and say they themselves will not comply with this or that edict of the bishop of rome. When German bishops say they won't comply, it's schism and expel them. When hungarians or africans say they won't comply, you applaud.

What is astonishing is the great love and respect with which these hungarian dissenters are eager to welcome sodomites ("Let us welcome with great love and respect our brothers and sisters who are attracted to people of the same sex"). In contrast, St. Paul 1 Corinthians 5: It is absolutely heard, that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as the like is not among the heathens; that one should have his father's wife. 2 And you are puffed up; and have not rather mourned, that he might be taken away from among you, that hath done this deed. 3 I indeed, absent in body, but present in spirit, have already judged, as though I were present, him that hath so done, 4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, you being gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus; 5 To deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

6 Your glorying is not good. Know you not that a little leaven corrupteth the whole lump? 7 Purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new paste, as you are unleavened. For Christ our pasch is sacrificed. 8 Therefore let us feast, not with the old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 9 I wrote to you in an epistle, not to keep company with fornicators. 10 I mean not with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or the extortioners, or the servers of idols; otherwise you must needs go out of this world.

11 But now I have written to you, not to keep company, if any man that is named a BROTHER, be a fornicator, or covetous, or a server of idols, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner: with such a one, not so much as to eat. 12 For what have I to do to judge them that are without? Do not you judge them that are within? 13 For them that are without, God will judge. Put away the evil one from among yourselves.

How far you 'catholic' bloggers have been led down the primrose path to hell. You act like you have never even read the Bible.

Let us welcome with great love and respect our brothers and sisters who are attracted to having other Gods before them

Let us welcome with great love and respect our brothers and sisters who are attracted to using the Lord's name in vain

Let us welcome with great love and respect our brothers and sisters who are attracted to making unholy the Lord's Day

Let us welcome with great love and respect our brothers and sisters who are attracted to dishonoring their father and mother

Let us welcome with great love and respect our brothers and sisters who are attracted to killing (especially their own relatives with contraception, abortion and euthanasia)

Let us welcome with great love and respect our brothers and sisters who are attracted to stealing

Let us welcome with great love and respect our brothers and sisters who are attracted to lying

Anon @ 12:31 PM - how was logic 101 flunked in my comment?

let us welcome with great love and respect our brothers and sisters who are attracted to adultery

let us welcome with great love and respect our brothers and sisters who are attracted to fornication

let us welcome with great love and respect our brothers and sisters who are attracted to sodomy

all violations of the sixth and ninth commandments.

These people the bishops are welcoming with great love and respect state plainly: I am a sodomite. I am an adulterer. I am a fornicator. They are not saying, "Bless me, father, for I have sinned. I am sorry and firmly resolved to do penance and amend my life because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell but most of all because I have offended Thee my God who art all good and deserving of all my love.

The bishops are encouraging them (welcoming with love and respect) to say, "Bless us, father, for we have not sinned and we have no intention of amending our lives or doing penance but intend to remain in our sin." And then pretending they will deny them this 'blessing.' This minuet could only fool boiled dead frogs who want to be fooled.

This is how God converts people: "The law of the Lord is without spot, converting souls: the testimony of the Lord is faithful, giving wisdom to little ones. 9 The justices of the Lord are right, rejoicing hearts: the commandment of the Lord is lightsome, enlightening the eyes. 10 The fear of the Lord is holy, enduring for ever and ever: the judgments of the Lord are true, justified in themselves. 11 More to be desired than gold and many precious stones: and sweeter than honey and the honeycomb. 12 For thy servant keepeth them, and in keeping them there is a great reward. 13 Who can understand sins? from my secret ones cleanse me, O Lord: 14 And from those of others spare thy servant. If they shall have no dominion over me, then shall I be without spot: and I shall be cleansed from the greatest sin. 15 And the words of my mouth shall be such as may please: and the meditation of my heart always in thy sight. O Lord, my helper, and my redeemer.

Imagine welcoming fools who rebel against God with 'love and respect':
"If you love me you will obey my commandments." John 14-15
"And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand." Matthew 7:26
A fool will laugh at sin, but among the just grace shall abide. Proverbs 14:9
A wise man feareth and declineth from evil: the fool leapeth over and is confident. Proverbs 14:16
It is better to meet a bear robbed of her whelps, than a fool trusting in his own folly. Proverbs 17:12
As he that casteth a stone into the heap of Mercury: so is he that giveth honour to a fool. Proverbs 26:8
As a dog that returneth to his vomit, so is the fool that repeateth his folly. Proverbs 26:11

It would be a very positive move on your part if you got some help with that Jimmy Swaggart proof texting habit of yours.

Here's some poof texting for Gaybriel, the self-proclaimed "roads scholar:":

13 Εαν δε τις κοιμηθη μετα αρρενος, καθως κοιμαται μετα γυναικος, βδελυγμα επραξαν αμφοτεροι· εξαπαντος θελουσι θανατωθη· το αιμα αυτων θελει εισθαι επ' αυτους.

Just so we're clear, and not queer:

13 Qui dormierit cum masculo coitu femineo, uterque operatus est nefas: morte moriantur: sit sanguis eorum super eos.

Finally, in Hebrew, as ordered by the Lord:

וְאִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִשְׁכַּ֤ב אֶת־ זָכָר֙ מִשְׁכְּבֵ֣י אִשָּׁ֔ה תֹּועֵבָ֥ה עָשׂ֖וּ שְׁנֵיהֶ֑ם מֹ֥ות יוּמָ֖תוּ דְּמֵיהֶ֥ם בָּֽם׃

Leviticus 20:13

The EF resident Circus man, so distracted with chatting to phantoms and attempting to persuade his reader that he is a 'roads scholar' (sic) loses sight of the fact that he is holding up to all, probably subconsciously, his inner inversion and fixation with little boys.

Get help.

You seem to hold everyone whose theology is Catholic, likely to be a pederast, Gaybrielle. You set a very low bar for it in the Roman clergy after Saint Pius X’s reforms lowering the age of reason to 7. I thought that was very telling indeed.

You were the self-described “roads scholar”. It’s not so startling, but still amusing, considering your claims to be a titan of mental power.

Readers should down a shot every time Gaybriel answers with a projection of his own psycho-emotional problems. I suggest that the reader's driving be done for the day.
