Wonderful news: the Muezzin, at his last breaths, expressed his desire to be a Christian so we must now belief, with the Universal Church, that he received Baptism of Desire and is now in Paradise with God.
ReplyDelete@"PeteGrainger"- where do you find the news of the Muezzin's conversion?
DeleteCopulating with a Taliban banner whilst dying = Baptism of Desire?
ReplyDeleteOn the feast of the Transfiguration August 6 when the news of the destruction of the Muslim army reached Rome in 1456 and Pope Callixtus III commanded the bells of Christendom to ring forever at noon to thank God for the triumph. Quite a coincidence?

ReplyDeleteGood news!

Very strange coincidence. Like God striking down the heretic (heathen) desecrating his temple.
ReplyDeleteI've come to have much more respect for what the Hagia Sophia represents (the Byzantine Empire and the Greek Orthodox Church), than sadly I do of the Vatican of Pope Francis today....a corrupt, wreck of a Church filled with perverts, heretics and pedophiles.
I remember the photo of the lightening strike to St. Peter's the evening of Benedict XVI's resignation. I don't think it represented the wrath of God, but rather the opening of the pit of hell to allow satan and all manner of demons into the Catholic Church. And we have had them with Pope Francis and company 1,000X more than before him.
I think that the death of the muezzin was an act of God trying to protect Hagia Sophia. The thunderbolt was God washing his hands of the Vatican II church.....and whathas come from it in the last 8 years.
