David Duke is Catholic Now

Edit: you may have read the book Ethnos Needs Logos: Why I Spent Three Days in Guadalajara Trying to Persuade David Duke to Become Catholic.   Perhaps you also remember when Bill Donahue of the Catholic League made his reductio, "I'm a good Catholic and I agree with David Duke?" Well, Doctor David Duke is Catholic now.  I just received a nice e-mail from Doctor Jones and he confirmed that David Duke told Eric Gajewski when he thought the mike was dead on his show that he was  Catholic.

They have interviewed each other on a number of occasions, but the show in question is here., which is behind a paywall.

We take a moment to welcome David Duke to the altar and the Church of our ancestors, both spiritual and fleshly.

Maybe the Judaizers over at Patheos will become Episcopagans in protest?

Has he repented from his racist, anti-semitic views? If he hasn't, then it really doesn't matter whether he's Catholic or a member of any other religion. To a holy, righteous God who demands Holiness and righteousness from those who claim to bear his name, denominational identity is irrelevant.

Joseph D'Hippolito said...

One more Point: Jesus was Jewish. If Duke still has anti-Semitic views, then he effectively opposes Jesus.

Tancred said...

Oy veh, Joe. Heaven forfend if he believes what the Church has always taught about the Jews or questions U.S. foreign policy with respect to our “greatest ally.”

Did Jesus also accuse his mother of being a prostitute and his real father of being a Roman officer, Pantera?

Lol, weak.

Tancred said...

You’re just as pathetic as Shea.

At least Duke is Catholic now, which is more than I can say for you.

Without taking either extreme, I'll just point out that Catholics are still supposed to pray in charity for Jews to accept Jesus as their messiah. In charity.

Congrats David Duke!

Wow! Didn't realize that acceptance into the Catholic Church included the "I love Jews"-shtick. In fact, I do not believe that they are even mentioned in the Baptismal , Holy Communion, or Confirmation rites.
There is a repudiation of sin and the promise of repentance.
Nothing is said about kissing the behinds of the Sanhedrin along with that.

Tancred said...

Don’t mean to be extreme or anything, but I thought Christians were supposed to love their enemies, anonymous may 24 12:12?

At least you’re not saying we should pray WITH them like John Paul II used to do.

"Joseph D'Hippolito"? That is your real name? Really? You can't grammatically have an "H" in front of the apostrophe. Not if you're Italian or Spanish or Portuguese!!!! Where does that "H" come from really? As a reminder, just as certain Orthodox Jewish Faiths believe only God, and not men can "restore the rule to Israel".The word "anti-semetic" being so often a very abused and missused word, may be defined to include Zionists and Secularists who hate traditionalists of the Old Covanent, as well as traditional followers of the New and eternal Covanent". David Duke needs to understand that only "God of the Israelites can restore the rule to Israel,". Do you?

Eric Gajewski is liar. He is also insane. I wrote a bit about this three years ago.

And David Duke is a slippery character

I wouldn't trust him or David Duke as far as I could throw them.

Before we lob grenades, maybe we should actually listen him speak.

With that said Saint Hippolytus writes that Jesus Christ when speaking "Forgive them" He was speaking about non-Jews only because the Jews are cognizant of what they do... Even today.

Joe D’ippolito is a hard working sports writer. I can give him that, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t also an insufferable boomer.

Tancred said...

Well, Eric is one thing. But I think David Duke is charming. He might also be slippery.

Eric was actually angry with Doctor Jones for publishing this new fact.

Catholics pray for the conversions Christ deniers in two places primarily. Firstly, by attending Sacrifice of Calvary at Mass, but also when we speak "Deliver us from evil" during the Mass. We are standing in their place because they are faithless. Jesus Christ reminds us they are our enemies for all time for all people.

Interestingly, most Jews today are the children of Christian apostates whose own parents Judaized during an Eastern the version of the Protestant Reformation. This why there is only a minority of Jewish men who carry Jewish Y-chromosomes. Larry David for example carries a Native American Y-chromosome, which is a reminder (besides the
thata of Jewish name among blacks) race slavery was almost entirely Jewish operation.

Jews come in all sizes, shapes, and colours. All that proves is that they'll sleep with anyone. As for Duke, he may be a spook in the other sense of the word.

VIC" Said that "Jews come in all sizes, shapes, a colours". This was the case even before the time of Christ. Until only recently, when Israel took in as refugees, there was a large PreTalmudic community of Ethiopian/ Abyssinian "Israelities". The Israelities had communities and converts in ancient times also among the Greeks, Italians, and Persians. There is no sin in racial intermarriage, provided it is within the Sacrament of marriage.

David Duke is no different from other Catholics in the US, especially in the South. We know that after the Civil War the Bishops routinely segregated White from Black Catholics and founded all Black parishes. This did not exist in the French colony and Catholics did not segregate until after the War, when sentiment ran high against the freedmen, who rapidly abandoned the plantations leaving them to ruin. This was not true of all Blacks, of course. In any case, the hierarchy supported segregation as well as slavey, considering the latter a socio-economic problem rather than theological. When the Pope abolished slavery for Catholics the Society of Jesus, Maryland Province sold its slaves, something that people of high moral character did not routinely do. Cardinal Glennon in the 40's forbade Negroes from worshipping in the Cathedral Basilica since there was a Negro parish, St. Elizabeth's where they could worship. People that are speaking against David Duke are no doubt immigrant Europeans who don't know history because their families are new to the Americas. We should not be influenced by secular moralist, who have latched on to racism as the number one vice. They call anything racist that doesn't fit their program. Cardinal Glennon no doubt wished to protect the Negroes their dignity and their persons from European Immigrants, former plantation owner, etc. who sat in the pews. His successor Cardinal Ritter seemed to have been skeptical about whether this was his motivation because he abolished segragation in the St. Louis parochial schools well before the civil rights era. But he had to do so under pain of interdict, excommunication or both. So let's stop looking down on our Catholic brother, David Duke.

What a wonderful news! Dr. Duke has been telling the truth (about so many issues) his entire life. People who seek (and tell) the truth will, sooner or later, find the true faith. Deo gratias.

So we can see this bureaucratic, "business as usual" sheep-like adapt and fit-along Americanist attitude that for us unquestioningly into Vatican II, and Vatican "Springtime" heard mentality! Bishops priests and laeity alike to this very day just take for granted that their bishops and Pope's are insured by the Holy Spirit, Infallible, and nothing should be said against them.

Your reading comprehension skills leave something to be desired.

Is there anything objectively wrong with attempting to protect minority populations by segregating them from evil white people?

Paul-A. Hardy said...

Tancred: Let us admit 'white people' does not refer to an object in the world. Genera do not exist. There is no generic referent for white people to be found in the world just as there is generic referent for 'animal.' We come to reality at the level of species. So there is the human species. Dividing that species into 'white' and 'black' is a classificatory device based upon an ideology attached to governance in these United States. I only gave the explanation I did of Cardinal Glennon's motivation behind segregating "Black people" from "White people" out of charity for the deceased. In reality he might have simply disliked the appearance of Black people. However, this seems unlikely because many "Black" Catholics at that time were of mixed ancestry and looked like there European ancestors. Even at St. Elizabeth's the Black Catholic parish it was said that boys with negroid features were not permitted to serve on the altar. The explanation: they didn't have the intelligence to learn the Latin responses. That of course may have been true, since Blacks had been bred for at least 200 years for dull repetitive work to which human intelligence is naturally repugnant. However, again this is only a possible explanation, since after slavery 'Blacks' intermarried freely breaking the rigid rules of slave breeding. Church officialdom has always followed for the most part social conventions concerning class, caste and breeding. In the period from 1789 church officialdom was more and more inconsistent as it imbibed the ideology associated with the French Revolution: Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité and 'la carriere ouverte aux talentes." Bishops for the most part were from the nobility as they should be to my mind. Popes from the peasantry and bourgeoisie have proven to be a disaster since Prince Eugenio Paceli (Pius Xii), who had the requisite personal dignity for officiating at liturgical rites. After all, the Bible says we are made in God's image. Hence we must have leaders who keep that before us at every moment. David Duke has always sought to manifest this, having his face surgically altered to reflect the regularity of features, consonant with human dignity. For he was born of a very low estate. I admired him for that. It pains me to watch the present Pope amble around like an animal on the altar, since he too is of low birth. And this is ironic, since the 19th Baltimore Synod deliberated on whether Blacks should receive Holy Communion so careful were they to avoid disobedience to the Scriptural injunction not to scatter pearls before swine and give what is holy to dogs. I wish that Jorge Bergoglio would imitate their scrupulosity and step down.

It would just to separate minorities from evil white people. No doubt about it. But the presumption that white people are intrinsically evil or that black people are incorregibly, and intrinsically evil is problematic. Evil people belong in jails and in confessionals, and perhaps hell. Good people of all colors belong in heaven together. The Social Reign of Christ the King invites that we mirror on earth what is in heaven. If we are all Catholics worshipping the same Sacrament why would we want people to be separate? Why would a Church militant want to keep armies divided. Protestant churches were created as reflecting national interests over religious dogmas. Lutheranism is a"German" church. "Black Baptist" is a "black" church. White Baptists are a "white" church. Catholic means universal. Catholics should be segregated to stand out and apart from these garbage fake churches. These black Protestant still harp on how "black" they are. Still attack whites and others who show meekness and fairness and intelligence. Because Protestants do not elevate man to God, but tear God down to the level of men. Protestants need no intermediary with God because they think that they can speak for God. They can never be allowed to be arrested fairly or told they are unqualified for a job, or told not to be disrespectful because only they can judge their actions words and thoughts in front of God, and "feel" the vibes of a direct line connection with God. You can never criticize a Protestant for what they have done and failed to do.

Paul-A. Hardy said...

Dear Constantine: Do you really think that there are evil white people? To me there are people who are afraid. After all, "white people" are an extreme minority on this planet. They have witnessed mass genocide and wonder when it will be their turn perhaps. "White people" have not always acted in the most prudent manner considering their easily identifiable minority status in the world at large. But fear always indicates a lack of faith in a provident God, Creator of us all.
One reason to separate "Black" people from "White" Xtians is that Blacks have continued their old pagan religion under the guise of Xtianity. The orgiastic rites amongst "Black" protestants testify to this. In so-called Catholicism it is even more explicit , I mean Voudun and Santería. Musical rhythm & dance is employed to induce trance-like states, which allows them to directly communicate with their deity. The music and dance, now evidenced in the women's "twerking" is their mediation and causes their illusion o being immune to common civility and morality. This is especially severe amongst the devotees to the African deity Chango who is worshipped under the name of St. Jerome. But behind their orgiastic rites is fear also whipped up by their priests, priestesses and so-called preachers of the Gospel. Europeans protestants provided a framework for "Blacks'In the US different from Latin America and the Caribbean but its all basically African paganism..
The present Pope instead of disavowing paganism has indicated a course of equity in this regard. If you can't beat them join them I suppose. Do for the indigenous Amazonians what you did for the "Black" slaves: Recognize their old deities for the sake of Fraternité and Egalité as well as Œcumenicism. It is the same move we witnessed with regard to the sacrament of marriage. Marriage in the Catholic church too Roman law as a guide, where vows, once taken are unbreakable. However, after Vatican II priests were allowed to break their vows with impunity, why not married couples? Bergoglio wants religious equity for Black protestants, Latin American indigenous people, etc. —Égalité. I myself stopped attending Roman Catholic masses because I felt the need to isolate myself from people influenced by the Pachamama cult, which is growing after papal endorsement.
We attend ROCOR, where the congregation is untouched by this new Roman Catholic trend and the atmosphere relatively safe, although we don't get involved with the people or clergy. We come and leave. Beliefs, after all are catching and one needs to protect ones children. Besides, a substantial portion of the congregation is from the old European leadership class. Their dignity at worship is extremely edifying as it is when visits their private chapels in their castle and palaces in Europe, where the ancient Roman rites is often kept.
Protestantism is an abomination. All that you say is correct from my experience. Black Protestantism is even worse because its mixed with paganism under the control of an often fanatical priesthood. In my vicinity, a servant under the influence of Santería murdered two children under her care. Was this a sacrifice of some kind?

Racism/favoritism is a sin. All racists are satanic to the core.

In the New Testament, Paul demands active unity in the church, a unity that explicitly joins together differing ethnic groups because of their common identity in Christ. Paul proclaims that, in Christ, believers form a brand-new humanity. The old barrier of hostility and division between ethnic groups has been demolished by the cross; and now, all peoples are to be one in Christ (Rom. 4; Gal. 3–4; Col. 3; Eph. 2).

Christians of other ethnicities aren’t just equal to us; they are joined to us.

Paul insists that the primary identity of Christians is to be based on their union with Christ—not on traditional sociological, geographical, and ethnic connections. Again, the implications are profound. Christians of other races aren’t just equal to us; they are joined to us. As Christians, we’re all part of the same body, united by the presence of the same Holy Spirit who indwells us all. We’re not just friends or fellow worshipers in the same religion, but brothers and sisters in the same family.

John gives us a glimpse of the people of God at the consummation of history, describing them as people from every tribe and language and people and nation (Rev. 5:9; 7:9; 10:11; 11:9; 13:7; 14:6; 17:15). This fourfold formula of tribe, language, people, and nation stresses the ethnic diversity of the people of God who will worship around the throne. It’s a picture of the climactic kingdom of Christ, and, as such, provides a model for us to strive toward. John clearly sees the kingdom of Christ as a multi-ethnic congregation. We must make this a reality because THIS is our destiny. Our cultures and labels we give ourselves will no longer matter in the world to come. The old earth will pass away.

Favortism among people is a SIN and likned to the law breakers of old.

Favoritism, according to Merriam-Webster, is “the unfair practice of treating some people better than others.” The Greek word translated favoritism in James 2 literally means to “receive according to the face.” In other words, to show favoritism is to make judgments about people on the basis of their outward appearance. Here are three reasons why showing favoritism is prohibited in Scripture:

1. Favoritism is inconsistent with God’s character.
Impartiality is an attribute of God. He is absolutely and totally impartial in dealing with people.

“For the Lord your God is the God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, mighty, and awe-inspiring God, showing no partiality and taking no bribe” (Deut. 10:17).

“For there is no favoritism with God” (Rom. 2:11).

“There is no favoritism with him (Eph. 6:9).

“Now I truly understand that God doesn’t show favoritism” (Acts 10:34).

Showing favoritism is inconsistent with God’s character, antithetical to the gospel, and therefore incompatible with “faith in our glorious Jesus Christ” (Jas. 2:1).
2. Favoritism is contrary to God’s values.
James addressed a situation in which believers gave preferential treatment to the rich (2:2-3). What would motivate this kind of behavior? Is it not because these believers valued the rich more than they valued the poor? They would rather have the rich attend their church than the poor, and their treatment of the rich and of the poor reflected their values.
James reminded his readers that their values were not God’s values: “Didn’t God choose the poor in this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that he has promised to those who love him? Yet you have dishonored the poor” (2:5-6). They were acting in a way that was contrary to God’s values.
In a message on the evil of favoritism in the church, John MacArthur said: “We tend to put everyone in some kind of stratified category, higher or lower than other people. It has to do with their looks. It has to do with their wardrobe. It has to do with the kind of car they drive, the kind of house they live in; sometimes it has to do with their race, sometimes with their social status, sometimes outward characteristics of personality. All of those things with God are non-issues. They are of no significance at all. They mean absolutely nothing to Him.” (gty.org)
3. Favoritism is sin.
James makes clear that favoritism is not simply disrespectful of people; it is sin against God. “If … you show favoritism, you commit sin” (Jas. 2:9). It is sin because it is contrary to the character and command of God. Because favoritism is sin, there is no place for it in the hearts of God’s people, and certainly no place for it in the church.

There’s no such word as “favoritism” in the Bible. You must be using the GLBT Bible for pride!
