Würzburg bishop invites all Protestant spouses without preconditions to the Eucharist - Yesterday was talk of "individual case" was yesterday
Würzburg (kath.net) The Würzburg bishop Franz Jung pronounced a general invitation to the Eucharistic reception for Protestant spouses at the two pontifical masses for married couples. "But today, the anniversary of marriage, I would like to make the invitation to the Eucharist for interchurch marriages, in which the two partners have remained faithful to each other," said the recently consecrated bishop according to the press office of his diocese. There was no indication in the press release that even in the DBK orientation aid, which had not been approved by the pope, there was no generalized access to any Protestant married to a Catholic spouse without distinction. It was, according to Jung in his sermon, for a long time fought over intensively, what could be a spiritual path, at the end of a permission for Communion in individual cases for Protestant partners could look like. He would, ‘intensively discuss this recommendation of the German Bishops' Conference with the diocesan councils in the coming period.’ The German bishops, however, want to ‘pay special tribute to the ‘lived faithfulness of marriages in the domestic Church’ especially in confessional marriages,” he continued in his sermon.
The only admission requirement for a Protestant Christian married to a Catholic to the Catholic Eucharist, therefore, seems to be a suitably long marriage in these Mass celebrations with Bishop Jung. The admission of Protestant Christians "on an individual basis", which is so strongly emphasized in the discussion, seems to be obsolete here, but at least it does not appear in the press release. Bishop Jung could thus be the first Catholic bishop in Germany to publicly represent such a general invitation to the Protestant spouse and spread it through the diocesan media.
In the run-up to the Kiliani Pilgrimage Week 2018 couples are invited to these services in Kiliansdom, who have been married for 25, 50, 60 or 65 years.

Like abortion in certain cases...always infiltration by stealth
Thank you, Pope Francis. The bottom line, is your failure to uphold the Catholic Faith once again, and your failure to lead. This should never have happened. The German bishops hatched this blasphemy, but by your inaction, you approved it. Francis probably actually does approve of it.
He should be sacked by any true Catholic cardinals left in the "sacred" College of Cardinals.

Those who promised a formal correction nineteen months ago & didn't follow through on it, plus their silent supporters (inc. SSPX), are as much to blame for this schism as PF, his cronies & German heretics. They have no credibility & have now separated themselves from Christ. The very few Cardinals who spoke against this debacle should now jointly make a statement, haul PBXVI from his apartment to appear on the balcony & resume the papacy he so hurriedly left. He then must hand out excommunications left, right & centre before he properly retires if he so wishes (no dual papacy this time) & divests himself of the papal regalia. The one who should speak will fall silent, but now must awake from his stupor & do God's bidding.
Drip, drip, drip. The dissolution of organized religion and the creation of a new spiritual belief system based on world unity.
Fulton Sheen warned us about it in 1947. God must have given him a glimpse of these heretics. They are not Catholics.
Lutheranism, Febronianism,
Anti-infallibilism, Modernism, Neo-modernism. Same German particularist and nationalist heresy, changing name but not substance.
There's plenty of room for all at the Table of the Lord's hospitality. That's one of the main reasons that Christianity was so effective in its early evangelization.
"...at the table"
See...that's a major part of the problem. ...it's an ALTAR...with a divine Victim Sacrifice. And early catechumen's weren't even allowed to stay for the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
You really need to bone-up on 1 Cor 11 and early Church history feybriel.....but then again, boning-up is your specialty, eh?
Total nonsense, little annoying troll.
Before Constantine, criteria for accepting new cathecumens were so strict that you modernists would scream if they were applied today.
Fasts were very strict and long, covering almost half of the year.
Penances were frequent, hard, and applied even for minor faults.
If you fell into heresy or apostasy, there was absolutely NO chance you would EVER be readmitted to any sacrament. You could have been absolved on your deathbed, period.
So much for the "open church"

Will Cardinal Marx and the German bishops violate their Constitution and laws ?

No they simply did what Jesus would have done and that is, feed the multitude without demanding that they be baptized, survive a trial by ordeal, forcing each one into a confessional or even having to fast from midnight.
No wonder his disciples abandoned him. He didn't observe the requirements of Canon Law.
The feeding of the multitude is not the Eucharist, darling.
Stop playing the soppy-silly-boy game. You are not buying anyone's mind, since we are not self-indulging sentimentalists.
You say that the feeding of the multitude is not the eucharist. John 6 uses the symbolism of the feeding of the crowds with the loaves and fishes to expand on the eucharistic discourse of Jesus.
St Cyril of Alexandria taught that the feeding of the multitudes is a direct metaphor for the Eucharist, so to St John Chrysostom, so too Hilary of Poitiers and many others. If you visit the catacombs in Rome you will see striking pictographs that illustrate the eucharistic symbolism of the feeding of the crowds. Think and study before you assert.
Thank you, sir, a great post.

Larry, John, Faybriel or whatever...
You are delusional if you think that any of Holy Fathers (for example St John Chrysostom) would give Holy Communion to unbaptized or a heretic.

Rab (YeeHaww),
Get help.
Code of Canon Law 1917
Canon 731 §2
It is forbidden to administer the sacraments of the Church to heretics or schismatics, even though they err in good faith and ask for them, unless they have first renounced their errors and been reconciled with the Church.
The point at issue is whether or not the feeding of the multitude with the loaves and fishes was understood to be a metaphor for the Eucharist. It was, beginning with John 6 and interpreted as such by the Church Fathers and depicted as such in early Christian art.
Get orthodox.
Rab
Get an education.
The issue is you using a metaphore for Communion to justify removing all conditions required to receive the Communion in the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. You are not convincing anyone.
P.S. Are you a priest? If you are, why hide it? :)
Are you educated on the subject?

"Those who must speak will remain silent" (Sr Lucy of Fatima)
Did she know that those who must speak didn't include the Pope himself? Indeed it is blatant that Francis is a cunning accomplice of this mass desecration and one can be certain that the Pope never will utter one word against it. He very astutely sowed the confusion in the minds with this scandalous end aim in his mind.
Well played, Jorge !
They go on ad nauseum about the ancient Church till we start talking about the actual texts, and the penances they assigned. It’s like people in the early Church believed people could sin and had to make restitution for it.
As usual, he is a grievance in search of an argument.
More childish old queenery.
You have a clear advantage in the queenery department, old Tart.
Obviously, poppers give you brain damage.

I’ll bet you acquire all of your knowledge through direct experience and never read. The physiological damage from the lifestyle must have fostered this somewhat, manifesting in your pathological obsession with this blog.
