Will the Vatican Require All Diocese in the World Church to Have an Exorcist? |
Such a call from the Holy See that every diocese has to commission exorcists, as the daily newspaper of Sao Paulo reported, was not yet known. In the coming days, the Vatican may have to comment more on this subject. There is doubt as to whether the assertion of the Brazilian daily newspaper corresponds to the facts.
The request coincides with a demand by the head magistrate of the diocese of Rome, who died in September 2016. Father Gabriele Amorth, priest of the Society of St. Paul (SSP), repeatedly criticized the fact that many dioceses had no exorcists. During his 30 years of work, his demand that every diocese should at least have an exorcist who was officially commissioned did not receive any hearing.
At the beginning of the article by O Estado de São Paulo it now reads:
"The Vatican is directing this year that the dioceses of the world to train priests to carry out exorcisms."
The Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum of the Legionnaires of Christ (LC) has offered a course "Exorcism and Prayers for Liberation" since 2005. This course deals with the different aspects of obsession, but is not explicitly addressed to priests, which is why laymen can also participate. It is the world's only university offering of this kind.
No diocese, however, has to send priests to the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum. The XII. Course "Exorcism and Prayers for Liberation" will take place in the course of the 2017/2018 academic year in May 2018.

First off, why isn't there one already? Many times there is and he is just unknown, they have to keep it on on the qt because of the satanists years ago who were apparently taking them out (per Malachy Martin).
ReplyDeleteSecond, this is coming from Francischurch so what can be believed here? They're telling us divorce is a okay (among many other evil things) but then they're interested in combating evil in every diocese? Something doesn't add up here.
Sure it does? Who in the Vatican said that 2 plus 2 equals 5.
DeleteFrancis did (does he reside in the Vvatican?) in a document called "Amoris Laetitia" which promotes ambiguity with regards to marriage and thus causing great error among the faithful. Start messing around with Church blessed divorces and you will indeed have a large spike of satanic activity. Then you're appointing exorcists to battle said satanic activity. Does that "add up" to you?
DeleteIsn't that creating the problem itself to then "solve"?
Why would the Vatican want to appoint an exorcist in every diocese when there's no indication that the Vatican even believe that Satan exists? It doesn't make sense.
ReplyDeleteM.Ray
You ate your Wheaties this morning. Good point.
DeleteHe wants to exorcise all the "rigid" and Pharisaical orthodox Catholics and those disturbed young people who like the Tridentine Mass.
DeleteSo per Fr. Arturo Sosa Abascal S.J., head of the Jesuits, this will be to cast out a “symbolic figure” who doesn’t really exist, a 'figure of social conditioning'?
DeleteLOL....this is laughable. Every 'Diocese' is to have an exorcist Priest? Wonder if Francis is going to start on his own 'turf' in Rome? The Vatican has an infestation problem that requires an entire team (as in football team) of exorcist Priests!! It has to be a very dangerous place at this point. I wouldn't go near it.
ReplyDeleteYou have to understand that demonic possession goes after the innocent to use as a source of gaining souls. Children are usually targeted. I don't think that evil people are necessarily possessed which means without their consent. They willingly invite him in. Someone who becomes the devil cannot be exorcized.
DeleteYou say that "demonic possession goes after the innocent to use as a source of gaining souls. Children are usually targeted."
DeleteHave you got any statistics to back that statement up? The late exorcist Fr. Malachi Martin said they could create no profile of the typically possessed but that there was always some action the possessed engaged in that caused the possession. I'm not talking about a harassment which can be caused by a curse from someone else, I'm talking possession, provide some link to explain that, I would love to learn more about what you said.
Good article here from the Dallas Catholic blog where the late Vatican exorcist Fr. Gabriel Amorth explains that women are most frequently targeted for possession (not children). Makes sense, you hate the Mother of God so you go after women and if you want to destroy the family, destroy the woman.

Possession of the innocent has little value for the devil. The wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23. If you are unable to commit a sin, then you do not sin. Logically, there is then only one other reason for inhabiting the innocent.
DeleteSo many churchmen from PF downwards are doing the work of the devil, little wonder exorcism needs to be done increasingly. It is only when these churchmen from PF to those of the lower ranks do the work of God that exorcism may be beneficial.
ReplyDeleteGAWWWWWW....has anyone else seen this????...

You really can't make this stuff up! (especially the penultimate line in the first link)...we're in the flippin' Matrix.
And lord of the world 1908 where a priest called francis loses the faith and assists the antichrist to set up the one world religion just before the second coming
DeleteThe new pope is now "inaugurated"? Give me a break. The coincidence of Baron Trump and Trump Tower from 1896 is too weird.
ReplyDeletethe ring thing...that really blew me away. Benedict kept the ring, wears it, but will not use the governance aspect of it (THAT's what's by his own will)...how does anyone still doubt what's going on? and bergoglio using paul vi's....how is that even allowed??? I mean, it makes all kinds of sense...they are of the same spirit; goal of bringing down the Church, sodomite masons, backstabbing traitors....how many were the good priests tortured and murdered in soviet russia because montini ratted them out as a mole, like the Judenrat soros in a red beenie. bergoglio's background looks every bit as bad...powerhungry and corrupt.
Deletehow is it even licit, valid even(?), to strike the same ring? Has that been done before?...anybody know?
And yeah, the Trump prophecy thing...that's just beyond bizarre....I wonder what else he wrote, besides the kid's books she mentioned.
Malachi Martin did write about the underground Church in Russia. Supposedly, he was sent secretly into Russia as a bishop to help create that Church. He said that the movement was compromised by spies who were seminarians. It would make more sense to put the blame on Montini for trading information with the Russians for future considerations. The same would appear to be happening in China with the destruction of the underground Church through the support of the Vatican for a compromise Church as a step toward full Communion. Cardinal Joseph Zen alludes to such.---You have to remember the history of the Jesuits with China. St. Francis Xavier was a missionary who attempted to unite Christianity with "ancestor worship". This was rejected by the Vatican. The Jesuits have a history of compromising "their own mothers" in order to achieve a certain result. Certainly, the order believes in "the end justifies the means". The biography of Arturo Sosa, not the baseball player for sure, gives off one "hurricane 'red' flag" after another.
DeleteYou make a lot of claims in this forum JBQ including the absurd statement above about Saint Francis Xavier one of the greatest saints in the Church. When I read your statements above and try to find information none of them (so far) can be verified as correct.. So please go ahead and post a link to a credible source about the great Saint Francis Xavier promoting ancestor worship.
DeleteAnon at 3:53, I believe JBQ meant to refer to Fr. Matteo Ricci, S.J., not St. Francis Xavier.
DeleteIt was Matthew Ricci who promoted ancestor worship in China. (9.02.06: "Well at the World's End": Inculturation Through the Ages III: The Jesuits in China. Nevertheless, the driving force behind acceptance of foreign cultures into the Church was Francis Xavier in Japan. The article makes the point that the Jesuits brought the same ideals to their work with Native Americans.---My early Christian faith was nurtured in North American Martyrs Parish (before the current effort by the Church to destroy parishes as a prejudiced ideal). Isaac Jogues was the most notable. He was tortured with the loss of his fingers and went home to France. He obtained a dispensation for his hands and went back to work with the Iroquois who took his life.
DeleteJBQ, please provide a credible link to verify your false statement above about Saint Francis Xavier, I'm not nor am I doubt anyone in the forum interested in your conjecture, you've made several false statements here as I've shown, so please provide a link to prove otherwise.

ReplyDeleteJust a humble correction.
St Francis Xavier NEVER attempted to unite Christianity with'ancestor worship'.
The Chinese Rites Controversy was an attempt to evangelize the Chinese with and through those points of Chinese secular culture that do not conflict with Catholic faith.
At one point Catholic missionaries believed that to bring the faith was to transform the Japanese, Indians or Chinese into little Spaniards or Portugeuse.
Xavier died on Sancian Island never touching Chinese mainland or having penetrated the Chinese interior.
You ARE referring to Fr Matteo Ricci sj and his attempts teach the Roman Catholic faith in China through Chinese culture and language.
The efforts of the Society of Jesus in China was stunted by the influence of Dominican and Franciscans in Rome.
He was correct in 1654 and he is still correct today. So called ancestor worahip is/was a secular rite that doesnt compromise the Catholic faith.
Think of a faithful Catholic who posts a photo of a beloved parent, child or spouse that has passed away.
He pray for the repose of the souls of our dead relatives without worshiping them.
Sorry but I could speak for hours on the subject, as it was topic of my graduate studies.
He was 400 years ahead of his time and Pope Pius XII corrected the error.
In Christ,
JBQ
ReplyDeleteI do agree about the detestable state of the Society of Jesus.
May God send a Pope faithful enough to shut them down until they return to the faith of beloved Sainte Ignatius of Loyola.

In Christ,
Sorry Wilderness, but JBQ is right about the Chinese controversy. Whether or not Ricci was 400 years ahead of his time, he was wrong, as was Pius XII, well-intentioned though he may have been, in encouraging the 'Chinese Rites', which went too far. The Jesuits indeed started their slide into compromise in the Faith not in the 20th century, but in the 17th. The Chinese Rites was just an early example of the disgusting "enculturation" that has corrupted the Church's liturgy, at least in the Novus Ordo, all around the world. That attitude needs to be eradicated from the Church. Some day when the TLM is restored as the ordinary form, God willing.
DeleteCorrection... Not 1654 but rather 1604.
