Coria-Caceres will be the second diocese after the Archdiocese of Pamplona, in which the traditional rite "blessing the Church for centuries", will be celebrated in the Diocesan Church. This was made possible by the decision of Bishop Francisco Cerro."Remarkably, both bishops, the Bishop of Coria-Caceres and the Archbishop of Pamplona y Tudela are called Francis," said the Spanish columnist Francisco Fernandez de la Cigoña.
The Co-Cathedral of Santa Maria de Caceres is the most famous church in the city. It goes back to the 13th century. Its present appearance is in a Romanesque-Gothic transition style, which it received in the late 14th and in the 15th centuries. Since 1986 it is part of the world heritage sites.

Deo gratias.
It's a start and hopefully will lead souls to Catholic tradition.
Did you guys hear that the Archbishop of Barcelona (Francis appointed) just installed 3 traditional priests in his diocese? Here is the link in Catalan:

Apparently he has gotten a lot of backlash from liberal parishioners.
Pray that we may find a priest to celebrate the TLM in Bilbao. Anyone who can help - please respond to this message.
What refreshing news.
Anon.at 2pm, you could maybe reach out to the Institute of Christ the King. They just ordained another Spaniard last year. I believe their current apostolate in Spain is in Madrid. Get in contact with them and see if they would be able to send a priest to your diocese in the near future.
Thanks for the advice anon @ 5:36. I got in touch with them and they just might send a priest once a month. There are alot of details to sort out though - church, approval from local Bishop (although not canonically necessary) etc. Please pray that we manage to sort then out.
May God bless you - anon @5:36
No problem. Glad to hear the ICRSS may help. Let us pray that they open more apostolates in Spain. They should have at least a couple more Spanish priests ordained over the next 6 years or so.
If the Institute doesn't work out, you could also reach out to the SSPX in Vitoria-Gasteiz. They tend to be more willing to send priests to distant locations to start new Mass missions.
It that doesn't work,contact Fr.Kourtney Krier.
He flies from Las Vegas to Central Europe on a routine basis to celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
If he can't do it he will put you in contact with a valid Catholic priest.
He is a Thuc line priest.
Just in case you doubt the Thuc line, the Vatican & SSPX has had Thuc line clergy in their ranks and their holy orders were accepted.(they did not have to undergo conditional ordination or in Bishop Fleiss' case conditional consecration)
