Vatican Press Office Cites Benedict Denying Private Statement on Fatima Secret

Edit:  to put it bluntly, OnePeterFive has a lot more credibility than the Vatican Press Office. There's no mention of Bishop Kurt Krenn's allegation that Benedict said that the Secret wasn't complete, either. If it really were Benedict, he probably would have denounced Krenn as well. Some might remember that we were one of the first to mention this issue in English way back in 2014.

https://eponymousflower.blogspot.com/2014/01/third-secret-of-fatima-document-is.html?m=1

Here's the Neoconservative commerce website Kath.net's report:

Emeritus Pope responds to speculation of US and Italian media - "The publication of the Third Secret of Fatima is complete"

Vatican City (kath.net/KAP) In an unusual move, Benedict XVI. has [allegedly] reacted to speculation about secret parts of Our Lady of Fatima messages being rejected. Allegations that he had personally spoken of unpublished passages of the "Third Secret of Fatima", were "pure invention" and "absolutely not true", said the Pope Emeritus  on Saturday through the Vatican Press Office. [If anyone has a record of fabrication, it's them.]

A week ago, the US website OnePeterFive had reported, citing the earlier moral theologian Ingo Dollinger, that Joseph Ratzinger had  acknowledged as prefect of the CDF shortly after the release of  the "Secrets of Fatima" in 2000 in a telephone conversation with Dollinger that the book is not complete. Among the suppressed portions were parts of the vision that took place in 1917 in  Fatima, which concern "a bad council and a bad Mass" which were imminent  in the near future.

OnePeterFive's story had been taken up in the last few days by individual Italian media. Benedict XVI. now denies having ever spoken with Dollinger about Fatima. To the question of the Vision report he stated verbatim: "The publication of the third secret of Fatima is complete."

There are always speculations as to the scope and interpretation of the messages that were received by the three Portuguese child seers in several visions in 1917. The minutes of the first two apparitions were published  in 1941. The third part, which was initially secret,  remained so and was sent to the pope personally, which had been published in  2000. It contained visions that have been associated with the Pope's assassination in 1981 and the communist dictatorships in Eastern Europe.

In the first "secret"  the Mother of God calls humanity to repentance in view of serious threats. In dark pictures war, famine and persecutions of the Church, in particular attacks of militant atheism against the Church are portrayed.

The third text speaks of a bishop dressed in white, who was shot by soldiers. This vision was associated later with the assassination attempt on John Paul II. May 13, 1981st The Pope himself had attributed his miraculous rescue of Our Lady of Fatima and the bullet that had injured him, given to the Portuguese pilgrimage site.

At this point, who would believe the Vatican spokespersons if it released the authentic 3rd Secret?

On Feb 8th 1960 another Vatican's press release stated:
"Although the Church recognizes the Fatima apparitions, She doesn't desire to take the responsibility of guaranteeing the veracity of the WORDS that the three shepherds children said that the Virgin Mary had addressed to them."
Where are these WORDS of the Virgin in the part of the Secret that was unveiled in 2000?
We and the world need these WORDS urgently.

Who cares indeed? High time all this nonsense was consigned to the junk heap of history.

Jacques Dumon has also written:

The Vatican has entrapped itself in a loong string of discrepancies, lies, inconsistencies and contradictions in the Fatima affair that nobody believes what they say anymore.
The book of Card. Bertone has not helped but only to discredit him and the Vatican's "party line".

so benedict would come out promptly (and on the vatican website to boot) to deny something related to fatima, yet not come out at all about the horrors in amoris laetitia?
does anyone else smell the masonic bu**sh**?

The BS meter vis a vis the Vatican Press Office is in full effect. The 3rd secret is about the wretched apostasy in Rome. We ignore Our Lady at great peril to our souls.

The magisterium is a corrupt tool for the flesh, world, and the devil but that is no excuse for the lay masses. Imagine a magisterium so brazen in their vanity that they conspire against God. Is this short of calling Mary a liar; or a tell-tale sign of God's reasons for wrath?

Pope Benedict says...
We must recall that Pope Benedict affirmed the pro-Masonic position when he said that Jews do not need to convert in the present times. This was with reference to the Prayer for the Conversion of the Jews.
Then he supported the pro Masonic position when he affirmed that the baptism of desire etc was a known exception to the Feeneyite position on extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS).
Now the Vatican has issued a statement on the Third Secret of Fatima saying that Pope Benedict did not tell any one that the secret was incomplete.
Recently he announced that the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus is no more the same like in the 16th century.Since it has been developed with Vatican Council II for him.In other words there are known exceptions to the dogma EENS mentioned in Vatican Council II.
When Wikipedia would continue to say that LG 16 was an exception to the dogma EENS there was no clarification from the office of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith when he was the Prefect.
Amoris Laetitia is a break with the moral encylical Veritatis Splendor , which he approved. There is no comment here from Pope Benedict.
There are so many other examples which I could give.

Exactly right! They are liars, deceivers and accusers. Like their father the devil.

We know that Vaticon spies scour Catholic blogs looking to find what we think. I hope they are enjoying the ass kicking they are getting over this LIE they put out about Benedict.

We don't like you false Catholics in Rome and abroad. And we don't like your Francis.

Consecrate Russia, Pope Benedict! Do it now. "It will be late. But it will be done."

That is not the style of speaking for BXVI. Not even close. They must think we are as stupid as they are.

I generally don't believe anything that the Vatican Press Office says. It's a spinning, lying spokesperson apparatus that works more for damage control and propaganda rather than honesty and accuracy.

Or.....any of the other fantastic anti Catholic ramblings and actions of this Papacy? They are too many to mention, and frankly, we can't keep up with all the bu**sh** going on in the Vatican. Every day it's something. We are getting 'Burgoglio weary' at this point and the first 'so called' public statement by Benedict is THIS? He is all fired up about a few articles from a blogger on a U.S. Catholic website about Fatima, and he essentially calls Fr. Dollinger (a dear friend of his btw) and highly respected journalists LIARS? This is the farthest reaction from Benedict I can even imagine, if I know Benedict. And to make things more suspect, who do we all know and 'love' that is the English spokesman for the Vatican? Fr. Thomas Rosica. The guy that likes to bring lawsuits against Catholic bloggers? Who are they trying to bu** sh** anyway?

Exactly right, Jacques. There are two parts to the Third Secret of Fatima:. The Vision, and the exact words of Our Lady which follow: "In Portugal, the dogma of the Faith will always be preserved..."

The only way out of the crisis in the Church is the revelation of the exact words of Our Lady and the Collegial Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

After what we've seen with our own eyes, it's time to drop the word "Secret" and start calling it, the message given to us by Our Lady of the Rosary at Fatima.

It *does* sound a lot more like Rosica than Benedict.

No offense to anyone here and I mean this in all due respect.
Personally,I was literally thankful and relieved upon learning Catholics aren't obliged to believe in private revelation nor base their faith upon visions.
I honestly sympathize with men & women who place so much faith and importance into private revelations. This isn't sarcasm nor is it an insult.

Touché anonymous. We're not members of the Fatima Church rather the Catholic Church.

And I don't really need Fatima or Our Lady of LaSalette to show me that the spirit of the antichrist pervades the Vatican. However, the warning that all this was coming is somewhat reassuring.

When Pope Benedict 'breaks his silence' it usually is to please the Masons?

The same people responsible for the Fatima cover up, call the Fatima apparitions, a "private" revelation. And while private revelations are optional, Fatima hardly qualifies as a private revelation. Upwards of 70,000 people were shown the Miracle of the Sun. The Miracle edified the crowd and it has a message for people living today. The Miracle of the Sun places Fatima firmly in the category of a public revelation. It's not prudent to dismiss Fatima out of hand.

From this, my take here is that the loser here appears to be 1P5 [and will lose more ground should they stubbornly continue to hold on to their position]. While many are taking the speedy response of the Vatican as a vindication of Steve Skojec and 1P5, I see it differently. With that response they have successfully marginalized and countered Steve Skojec and 1P5, which to me is indicative that the apostolate was doing really well until now.

Tancred said...

It's no longer effective because you say so? Thanks for that.

thewarourtime.com said...

Just my take, and only if they persist in their position [and I tried to communicate just that] because it is now their position vs. the Church's on a matter the faithful have no obligation to believe in [there are other more pressing stuff like AL]. The sad thing is that it is they themselves who made such a Vatican move possible. Good hear to recall CM intransigent position of never criticizing the pope when the pope himself welcomes such criticism. In my view, it is they themselves who have rendered their apostolate ineffective.

If I were 1P5, believing what I presented in my earlier document, to move my apostolate forward, I would publicly submit to this latest statement from the Vatican. An example I have been giving is Divine Mercy which was suppressed and later the suppression lifted, the faithful ought to respond accordingly.
*
Another argument I made was that the Fatima message was delivered by Lúcia to competent Church authorities [not Mr. Skojec nor 1P5]. If the competent Church authorities are not doing Our Lady's bidding, Mr. Skojec and 1P5 and all of us have no dog in that fight. The Fair and Comely One, the daughter of Jerusalem, the one terrible as an army set in array is more than capable to accomplish what she wants to accomplish as she did in Guadalupe.

Looking at Russia and one can readily conclude that the consecration was done. Cf. Fatima Consecration - Chronology | EWTN [https://www.ewtn.com/expert/answers/FatimaConsecration.htm]. Russia no longer adheres to the communist/atheist ideology and no longer exports such an ideology.

Suppressed or approved, partially revealed or fully revealed, that is up to the Church and God will hold them accountable for how they handle his message. The faithful have to act accordingly and even with approved, they are not obliged to believe. What is in the Divinely Revealed Sacred Deposit of the Faith = [Sacred Scripture + Holy Tradition] as perennially taught by the Church from the beginning is what the Faithful ought to adhere to for the salvation of their souls.
