Opus Dei Archbishop Makes Big Concession to Gender Ideology

Edit: the age of Mahony, alas, is still very much with us, despite the appointment of a Neoconservative Opus Dei Bishop. As if the liturgy and music weren't ugly enough. Is a Cardinal's hat from Pope Bergoglio really worth the loss of your immortal soul? Here's the video from Joseph Sciambra.

“they (laity) have no other right than to let themselves be guided and so follow their pastors in docility.”
- Pope Saint Pius X [1835 - 1914] (Vehementer Nos, Acta Apostolicae Sedis/39 (Feb.1906), 8-9)

We must know our place.

Give me a Catholic priest who says the true Holy Sacrifice, adheres to Catholic doctrine and morals and I will follow him, which is obviously what St. Pius X meant; but to suggest that we must follow these hectics into hell in an aberration. OLJC and St. Paul tell us clearly in the Holy Scriputres to avoid even an angel from Heaven teaching a different Holy doctrine than what was taught: let him be anathema!

....yeah, and your place is apparently a little hot in the seat "vincent".

Take a gander over at 1 Cor 5:1-5. It's written by a man named Paul, and it's in a big black book we call "The Holy Bible". Now, you'll need to walk a little ways away from the erotic butt section in your favorite book store, but if you look really hard, you'll find it.

and what the living hell is up with that music??? It sounds like cats...cats in mortal agony. Gomez is lost; and Escriva weeps.

The "Mass" as modern performance art??? Wow. That was one of the most painful things I have EVER watched. Abberosexual appearance was just the tip of that iceberg.

Gomez represents a "false right", which is to say a false opposition to the Novus Ordo Religion. In essence it means pretending to oppose the revolution, but just for show. His job is to keep Catholics on the Vatican II plantation: quiet, pliant, and giving money. My source for the concept of the False Right is www.traditioninaction.org

Father Hesse referred to Opus Dei as the "heart and brain" of the Conciliar Church. Apparently Escriva admitted pinkos into his community when doing so was under excommunication. - "But isn't he a saint?" you may ask. Sure. He's a saint of the false Novus Ordo Religion.

Yes, indeed!
I will follow the teaching of St. Pius X, and Blessed Pius IX, and Pius VII, and Pius VI, and St. Pius V. They were obedient to Our Blessed Lord by handing on TRADITION as they themselves received it. They taught with clarity. They opposed error wherever it arose.

So kindly reply: should Catholics obey these Sainted Popes, or Jorge Bergoglio?

"Is it Tradition? -Ask no more." - St. Vincent of Lerins, Church Father

We have slid down the slippery slope ever so much further toward the great abyss. Lord Have Mercy on all the souls who are being led down the dark path of deception, lies, and evil - by those who are supposed to be the shepherds of the flock, not the wolves - but alas those who don't know their faith are blind to the truth. These are dark days indeed. For the remnant of us who follow Christ - the true shepherd - we must remain vigilant in prayer, sacrifice, fasting, and especially praying the weapon satan and his minions hate and fear...the Rosary.

Why does Mass have to be a performance? Why do they think we want to be entertained? Why do all these lay people have to be in the sanctuary? Sorry but I'm rather new to all this. One thing that really really bugs me about Catholic churches is that there is always some lay person -usually a woman - with a following organizing something. It can be a rosary, morning prayer, novena, special devotion. But you can no longer walk into a Catholic church to contemplate or to pray. There always has to a something going on. and the Mass looks like that too.

Grace and peace to you, Caterina. Welcome to the Remnant of the Catholic Church. Your questions are more deep and probing than you might realize. Allow me to say that the same nagging questions led to my gradual discovery of the Catholic Faith. Further, what you describe are results of the revolution against the Church. This revolution, in absolute terms, began at Calvary, March 25th, 33 A.D. at 3 pm. It will persist until the coming of the King at the end of time. What has this revolution done? It has overthrown hearts and homes, thrones and empires; and it now occupies the Holy See, absurdly demanding we believe that the singular Papacy can be bifurcated into a rule by two men. Fear not. The revolution's anticipated triumph will result in its most stunning reversal and defeat. You might already have a devotion to Our Lady of Fatima; only she can help us. Help us she will indeed. Events of our time seem to bring into view a new and stark reality that we rapidly approach a cataclysmic end to our present historical epoch. Be not troubled by this either, however. Say your Rosary, find a Catholic (Latin) Mass if you can, and strive to increase in sanctity. In so doing you will be guaranteed not only your place in Heaven, but perhaps even live to see the Triumph of the Immaculate heart. - No more altar girls, no women in the sanctuary, no aberrosexuals in the pulpit or chancery. Just a glorious visible Church surging forward once again at last, carrying out the Great Commission of Her Divine Spouse and Head, Christ our King. God by you.

Clearly Saint Pope Pius X would counsel Catholics to follow the teachings of his successor, Pope Francis.
The teaching of Pope Francis in Amoris Laetitia has not been challenged for its orthodoxy by his fellow bishops, in particular by the famous group of 11-12 Cardinals who were regarded by many as the 'gatekeepers' of orthodoxy.
If there is a problem, where are they?

Pope Benedict XVl placed Archbishop Gomez as head of the Los Angeles Archdiocese. The Holy Father trusted him and we all rejoiced believing the Mahony days were over. Gomez has betrayed the trust God placed in him. Pray for him!

My God. Satan at the helm. This is what fifty years of compromise on the part of priests looks like. Fasten your seat belts.

No, St. Pius X would do no such thing as recommend Catholics follow Bergoglio's "who am I to judge" stance toward sodomy, a crime that calls out to God for vengeance. St. Pius V called for sodomite clerics to be defrocked, then turned over to the state, who would subject them to the death penalty. St. Bernardine of Sienna called this the worst sin possible.

Is that why St. Josemaria said Mass in Latin every day, pre-V II and post-V II, if I heard right, Ben? The "heart and brain" of the Church might have been the organizations started by St. Josemaria, a saint by any standard, and Frank Duff too. And what are you talking about with the pinko thing? Wasn't that a long-range tactic of the Commies since the 30s, a generation before V II?

Susan,

Speaking of St. Paul, wouldn't he have told the Chinese dude in the cap to take it off in church? Chinese men don't wear caps in churches in China, but I guess rituals in the Taj Mahal open up all kinds of possibilities.

BTW, you just gotta love the way these NewAmChurch types put Chinese people, homosexual parodies of families, pitchermaids, and who-not on the same footing. As Oscar Wilde might have said of these Little Nells, you'd have to have a heart of stone not to laugh. What a show.

it's all about the 'gesture' Barnum. This is a papacy of the gesture and the photo op; and what really goes on behind the curtain (ie major hissy papal temper-tantrums, fainting spells, deals with communists and tyrants, etc.) is non of the unwashed-faithful's business.

Here's something that gave me a belly laugh (first one in about....well, just over 3 years....*scratches head*...wonder why that is). You'll enjoy...when the Brits are funny, they're FUNNY....

That so called Mass is a banality. Some warped mutation that those there give life to by going along with the guff. I would say to the sodomites get out of here! You manufactured a child through your vanity. Where is its mother? You deluded liars.

Ben.quivenit@gmail.com said...

Yes, indeed, "a saint by any standard". And that was the impetus behind the John Paul-the Not-So-Great saint factory. Any standard JPII wanted to use could make a saint, since he abolished the office of Devil's Advocate along with the rigors of investigative standards long used by the Catholic Church and replaced it with (your description fits) "any standard".

The meaning of my words are plain. Escriva admitted communists into his community when doing so was under excommunication.

"Is that why St. Josemaria said Mass in Latin every day, pre-V II and post-V II, if I heard right, Ben?" - This is a non sequitur.

I could only stomach less than one minute of that appalling liturgical travesty. Everything about it was wrong - from the giant square packing crate used as a supposed altar, to the lack of any defined sanctuary, to the crowds of lay people crowding around the altar, to the appalling elevator music playing in the background and finally to the Satanic travesty of having sodomites with their child slaves actually displaying their evil partnership at the altar of a Catholic Church!
And you tell me that the bishop is Opus Dei!!! What has happened to that organisation?
Lord help us!

When I see comments from "Barnum" and then watch the video, just what other name pops right forth? Why, it is "Bailey". AB Gomez looks like the ringmaster for the three rings of "Barnum and Bailey".
