Edit: Andre Cabes, the rector of the shrine insists that Lourdes is a place of "encounter", but it doesn't matter to him that these are illicit and scandalous encounters in an open endorsement for gender ideology. This from the Telegraph:

Used to be Feb 11 was a day to celebrate the appearances of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Used to be Feb 14 was a day to celebrate faithfulness of priests unto martyrdom.

Maybe they will be advertising lourdes as a pervert paradise spa resort where you take your purchased children and the priest will bless whatever vice your into:

P.S. when are you going to report on this:Earlier this month, the Vatican released its training guidelines for new priests at a press conference and asked for feedback on them. Veteran Vatican reporter John L. Allen Jr., an associate editor of the Catholic website Crux, wrote about the guidelines in a column last week.
The church official who outlined the rules argued that bishops have “no duty to report allegations [of sexual abuse] to the police,” Allen wrote in his column.

According to 'Riposte Catholique' the reports were due to misinformation from AFP which unfortunately has been copied by both the English and French press.
The Chaplain in charge of the Family has denied it.
A year or two back I stayed in a hotel in Lourdes and inevitably I still get emails advertising the Hotel. In the last week I got an email inviting people to celebrate St Valentine's day and generally feast and have fun. It struck me as a bit odd at the start of Lent when one should be trying to fast. I suspect this is the origin of this story. Evidently they are clueless.
