The 1968 Revolution, the German People and Empty Cradles |
The following considerations relate to the Federal Republic of Germany, but also apply to the other German-speaking countries and more or less include other Western European countries.
Federal policy makers have celebrated recently over what is just a slight increase in the birth rate and for the third consecutive year. In 2014 there were statistically 1.47 children per woman born in the fertile age. This is still far below the necessary value of more than 2 children for purposes of preservation. The development is however gratifying, says Federal Family Minister, Manuela Schwesig (SPD) since in 2013 there were only 1.42 children and even only 1.33 children 2006.
Increasing the birth rate in 2014 of little relevance
However, the figures do not indicate how much of this increase is applicable to a higher birth rate among women with a migration background and would therefore mean no real trend change.
The numbers sound good, but the demographic decline of the German people is still in full swing. Although the entire future of the political system, of society, the contract between the generations and the social security hangs in the balance, the question is not addressed. This has to do with 1968, the debate initiated by the student protests and has since gradually become established thinking. In other words, with a suspended scale of values, putting it bluntly, can be characterized by selfishness. Young Germans wish, as youth studies at regular intervals confirm, an intact family with children. However, in the implementation of life plans they tend to "perfectly arrange their lives before the planning to grow," said Die Welt.
1968 the Sexual Revolution and Humanae Vitae
1968 is also a sexual revolution. In the same year Pope Paul VI. published the prophetic encyclical Humanae Vitae. As the students revolted at the barricades, the Bishops revolted in the German speaking world against Humanae Vitae. With the declarations of Koenigstein, Maria Trost and Solothurn, the bishops of Germany, Austria and Switzerland rejected the Encyclical.
In the ideological paradigm shift of 1968 is included the "reconciliation of work and family life", it's a nice slogan, but this has in fact led to a one-sided preference for profession and the decline of the family. An admission of this fact is denied by politicians and society as undesirable.
The consequences of the revolt were not long in coming: in 1972, the killing of unborn children was legalized in the DDR [East Germany] and also in the BRD in 1974, even if officially it is an nonpunishable crime in Germany. A dead child is a dead child, regardless of whether the killing is considered punishable by the state or has been legally observed. And since 1972, fewer children are born in German than die there. In 2015 the German people have diminished already for the 44th year in a row. The yearly averages a default of more than 25 percent. The policy of promoting immigration has concealed this decline for years. The keyword under which this immigration occurred, varied, depending on how large the resistance among the people was. First there were guest workers, then generous family immigration, after the Fall of 1989, the German ethnic groups of the former Eastern Bloc countries were absorbed, then one said that they were asylum seekers and now they are called just refugees.
Need for people and the taboo demographic question
The economy needs workers and consumers, trade unions need members, the churches priests and faithful, left-wing parties voters, the Greens the comfort of their ideological convictions and the state the security of its pensions, soldiers and so much more. Shortcomings and deficiencies like the lack of doctors in certain areas, the fading population in entire regions, lack of qualified personnel, immeasurably increasing social costs, reduction of educational standards, to somehow pass and strain non-German children through the education system, ghettoization, together with violence and increasing crime directly related to the demographic decline. The potential for conflict imported by immigration must be mitigated by a lot of money. This in turn increases the pressure of taxation. If business is pleased with the immigrants as consumers, we do so at the expense of the general public. The money that 'refugees' pay must be previously given to them by the host State. It's a form of redistribution on a large scale.
And yet the root cause, the dramatic decline in birth rate after 1968 is a taboo topic that is not discussed publicly. But gaps can be plugged, yet the problem isn't solved. The plugging of holes also results in new holes. This is due to the prevailing attitude that must not be questioned. The problems are seen, but one does not want to change one's own way of life from selfishness and convenience. Many lack the willingness to make sacrifices and to renounce certain amenities. But if the individual behavior is not changed, the whole thing can not change. This discrepancy resulted in demographic terms to a split in the population. On the one hand, young people who are willing to start a family and to give birth to children. On the other hand, a growing number of egoists who defer having children for professional, career, hobbies, luxury until it is too late or completely do without them. Federal Family Minister Manuela Schwesig demonstrates a preferential understanding of homosexuality and is therefore symbolic of the catastrophic but trendsetting '68 thinking.
1968er Age Group The Least Fertile
Population scientists are warning in any case against too much elation over the small rise in the birth rate in the years 2012-2014. This is not very meaningful, since it is not apparent whether for example, for some reason the deferred fertility of certain age groups has now been realized. There could be a decline in the next year again. More meaningful than the birth rate of a calendar year, is therefore the final average number of children of an age group. For their calculation, the Federal Statistical Office assumes that women no longer have children later than their 49th year. Therefore, such final figures for children will become available for the year of 1965. The women born in 1965 in Germany gave birth to an average of only 1.55 children. This year the German people has shrunk by 25 percent in comparison to the previous parental generation.
Martin Bujard, research director for "Family and Fertility" at the Federal Institute for Population Research has, however, already estimated further and calculates the average number of children for other age groups. Although this was only a forecast, it is never the less fairly probable.
Bujard came to the conclusion that the year of 1968 brought the least children. The statisticians calculated for that in 68 the number of children per woman was 1.49.
In the 70s there was a slight increase to 1.54 to 1.60 children per woman, said Bujard.
The consequences: mass immigration and mercilessness of Cardinal Schönborn
Earlier this year the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung wrote: "The economy and the federal government, therefore, is to promote immigration from abroad" (01/21/2015). It cited Ulrich Grillo the President of the Federal Association of German Industry (BDI) with the words: "With immigration we secure permanent growth and prosperity in our country in the face of our critical demographic trends." A statement to be read at the end is directly related to the so-called "refugee crisis" and its political handling.
Alone in 2015, according to media estimates and the authorities, some 2.7 million people have immigrated into the Federal Republic of Germany. 1.2 million in the course of legal immigration (eg, within the EU, family reunification of non-EU) and 1.5 million as "refugees". It is a controversial term because it is prescribed by politics and the media and may not be questioned. Church representatives play an inglorious role in this context. The Slovak weekly magazine Týždeň (The Week) quoted Vienna's archbishop, Cardinal Christoph Schönborn: "A rational calculation shows that Europe needs millions of immigrants in order to maintain our way of life". At the same time he criticized the resistance of "Eastern European Catholics" against mass immigration as a "scandal", of "a shock, really a shock." Critics of unrestrained immigration the Cardinal mercilessly accused of "xenophobia". And since in modern Church talk everything must always be a "chance", Schönborn recommends the refugee crisis as the realization of "a huge opportunity" ... "to show the Muslims our Christian attitude."
The issue of the persecution of Christians in the Middle East can only be addressed in the terms of political correctness. This currently means that since the attacks of Paris, after all, the Islamic state (IS) may be criticized, which official Church representatives also do, while until then it was merely silent on the part of the Church. The Church pipes in on this issue to the tune of politics? Which politics?
From Volk to Population - Man as an Import Item
"The "commitment" to the refugee reception will be officially brought into direct connection with the Syria conflict. But only 30 percent of incoming "refugees" were registered as Syrians. And even then, there are doubts about whether these "Syrians" in fact originate from Syria at all.
The policy promotes apparent mass immigration, but this denies it officially. The consequences for the ethnic, cultural, linguistic and religious composition of the population are far-reaching. Speaking of Population: Already in 2000, the artist Hans Haacke was commissioned in the Berlin Reichstag building, to dedicate his artwork to "the population" as a counterpoint to the inscription on the Reichstag facade "to the German people". There was a decision undertaken by the Bundestag that made the transition from specific people to any old population.
The attitude of the rulers can only be explained against the background of "our critical demographic trends". The policy follows the economy, the "growth and prosperity" calls for "immigration from abroad" as a solution. Was this immigration seen by some at first as an emergency solution, but today recognized by some as no longer the "problem". There are too many people in the world anyway, and if we lack that, we can certainly import them.

The advantage of migrant over indigenous workers is that it is much easier to exploit them and pay low wages.
ReplyDeleteWe must as Catholics go back to the pre-1951 holy week and Holy sacrifice of the Mass.1962 Missal is not the tridentine mass. This may sound silly however,in order for our station in life to get better as a civilization,we must practice worship that is pleasing to the Lord. This includes practicing the after midnight fast before Holy Communion.
