A back door to a neo-mosaic practice in the Final Report of the Synod
The XIV General Assembly of the Synod of the Bishops (October 4 – 25, 2015), which was dedicated to the theme of “The Vocation and Mission of the Family in the Church and Contemporary World”, issued a Final Report with some pastoral proposals submitted to the discernment of the Pope. The document itself is only of an advisory nature and does not possess a formal magisterial value.
Yet during the Synod, there appeared those real new disciples of Moses and the new Pharisees, who in the numbers 84-86 of the Final Report opened a back door or looming time bombs for the admittance of divorced and remarried to Holy Communion. At the same time those bishops who intrepidly defended “the Church’s own fidelity to Christ and to His truth” (Pope John Paul II, Apostolic Exhortation, Familiaris Consortio, 84) were in some media reports unjustly labeled as Pharisees.
The new disciples of Moses and the new Pharisees during the last two Assemblies of the Synod (2014 and 2014) masked their practical deny of the indissolubility of marriage and of a suspension of the Sixth Commandment on a case-by-case basis under the guise of the concept of mercy, using expressions such as: “way of discernment,” “accompaniment”, “orientations of the bishop,” “dialogue with the priest,” “forum internum,” “a more fuller integration into the life of the Church,” a possible suppression of imputability regarding the cohabitation in irregular unions (cf. Final Report, nn. 84-86).

That is what you pray for---because this aptly-named Athanasius is one of God's instruments to thwart the Francis agenda of destroying the Church. Bishop Schneider is doing only what serious, holy pastors do, inspite of Francis's insults (and your pathetic echo of them): care for the flock of Christ when their errant or cowardly pastors fail to do so. And Francis is a fine one to be talking about airport-hopping when he wastes millions of dollars (he, the modest, humble one who is consumed with the plight of the poor) on celebrity trips to promote his leftist agenda rather than its antithesis: the Holy Catholic Faith. You and your beloved, vulgar "tangero", "Gabriel," are defeated already in your heresies and malevolence towards Catholic Truth. May you repent before your appearance before the Eternal Judge. RC
The imposters have worked hard now for about 150 years to control the church now they have their man at the top who quickly making appointments of those who follow his false agenda ineresting times ahead for those who follow the true catholic church and faith.
Probably the holiest and best Bishop in the ranks today. I always pray for good and holy shepherds to be sent to us...true Saints; he is one after the Good Shepherd's own Heart. God bless and protect him.
Who's 'Gabriel?'
an idiot.
He's a pathetic effete who will find himself working in a real job before the year is out.
This is what all bishops ought to be saying - pointing out the truth instead of ignoring it.
Whoa! Some feels threatened by the good bishop!
Whoa! Someone feels threatened by the Good Bishop! I wonder why?
It's the 'internal forum' that's all. Though I'd prefer it if adulterers were told to live the Josephite marriage.
Those with a guilty conscience will always know it, those adulterers who have wriggled their way into receiving Communion and the priest enablers that allow it.
You can start worrying when the Church formerly declares that The Blessed Sacrament is merely a symbol and isn't the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Our Lord.
Honest to God, I was brought up to never even conside that a divorced man is eligible for marriage. Even if I were to fall in love with a divorced man, I would have to leave him, even with a broken heart. But I seriously think I would avoid the guy in the first place. The notion of giving up Communion is too great.
Sheesh, how on the earth have these people been brought up by their parents that they are marrying divorced people, or that they would enter adulterous marriages. There is no way that I would have gotten away with this sortof thing with my mother. In fact, both my parents' attitude to Henry VIII and Martin Luther was such that they didn't need to explain the Catholic teaching on divorce.
