Vatican Denies Report Pope Has Small, Curable Brain Tumor
The Vatican is denying as "completely unfounded" a report in an Italian newspaper that Pope Francis has a small, curable brain tumor.
The Vatican spokesman, the Rev. Federico Lombardi, said the report Wednesday in the National Daily was "completely unfounded and seriously irresponsible and not worthy of attention."
Citing unnamed nursing sources, the National Daily said the 78-year-old pope had traveled by helicopter to the San Rossore di Barbaricina clinic near Pisa in recent months to see a Japanese brain cancer specialist, Dr. Takanori Fukishima. The newspaper said the doctor determined that the small dark spot on Francis' brain could be treated without surgery.

Where there is smoke, ...?
it might explain some of the crazy; but it doesn't explain any of the evil.
As much as I dislike Pope Francis, and his evil agenda, I would not wish this on anybody. Remember Ted Kennedy?
Malignant brain tumors, such as this probably is with Pope Francis, will , even if small, render him incapable of performing his duties as Pope. Even if this tumor is small and malignant, it is possible that metastases to the brain originated in another part of the body.
I must confess that I had a rush of " you deserve it, Francis" the first time I read this...for which I must go to confession. I would not wish something like this, which is MUCH more serious than the Vatican will ever admit on anyone at all.
The Pope probably DOES have this, because the Vatican always comes out and denies it, until it is obvious. They denied John Paul II's Parkinson's almost up to his last few months.
I believe we are looking at a conclave for a new Pope within the next 19 months. Let us pray the next Pope is a Catholic, and strongly leaning towards tradition and restoration, rather in the direction Francis has been taking.
John XXIII was a Pope who suffered terribly from stomach cancer, which was denied by the Vatican almost up until the Pope's last weeks.
They will do the same with Francis, expecially his most ardent supporters.
I'll bet they are in a panic now.
A relative is a Cardiologist who also knows about cancer etc. If Francis does have a brain tumor however small, it is likely he has it elsewhere as well.

If Bergolio does go under the knife for surgery and subsequently has an extended recuperation, who's in charge and might his alleged tumour (God spare him this) render him incapable of continuing in office, Petrine or otherwise?
Brain tumors, even small ones, even of they are not malignant, are best removed surgically rather than treated with chemo. There might be two reasons why it has been reported that Francis' tumor can be treated with drugs.:
1) He is too old, has other health issues (i.e only 1 lung), is not in goot health anyway so likely would not survive surgery or its complications.
2). It is worse than being reported, and surgery would do little good....chemo would just forestall the inevitable.
In any event, with an illness such as this, the best and most honorable thing for Francis to do is to resign, opening the door to a conclave and the election (Please God!!!) of a true Catholic this time....one who looks, acts, speaks, dresses and is like a true Catholic Pope.
If Francis, knowing the likely prognosis and outsome of this, chooses none the less to remain in office, that is the height of selfishness and conceit, and anything but humble.
Best for him to go back to Argentina and live out what time he has left in peace, or find a Jesuit house in Italy to reside.(but there are not many of them left in Italy....with less than 400 Jesuits there....down from over 4
,500 before Vatican II !
Anyway, I think we are looking at a Papal conclave possible within the next 10-18 months. Let's all pray for Francis in this time of illness, and also for a traditional and true Catholic successor.

All this speculation is crazy. Pope Francis may live for years. Pray only that God's will for Francis be done. Pray also that Francis has a happy death, free from pain and anxiety and that he makes a last good confession.
We pray for his conversion, repentance, renewal, holiness and sanctification before his death (in God's time).
Pope Bergoglio has done and continue to do tremendous damage to the Roman Catholic Church. May this little tumor in his brain make him realize that he doesn't own the Catholic Church but it belongs to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The problem is that he is no longer capable to lead the Church, the tumor is probably causing hallucinations and paranoia...this is a real danger... because this could lead to the death of thousands of Catholics around the world...
Return of the Pedophilic Brain Tumor: Acquired versus Innate Pedophilia
Last week, Reuters carried a story by Kate Kelland about a pediatrician in Italy, Domenico Mattiello, accused of sexually abusing his patients.[1] His lawyers plan to present evidence that his pedophilic urges are the result of a brain tumor and argue that the judge in the case should be lenient. As the Reuter's story mentions, this case is very similar to a US case I blogged about a few months ago, where a 40 year old man suddenly developed pedophilic urges and had to be removed from his home. The US case was presented at a medical conference, with very little discussion of criminal charges, while Mattiello's case is presented by Kelland as an extreme example of the sort of challenges neuroscience may bring to our understandings of criminal responsibility. I want to push back against this framing, and argue that a tumor such as this poses an interesting ethical question because it does not simply challenge ideas about criminal responsibility, but also serves as a good example of the different responses to "acquired" pedophilia and "innate" pedophilia.[2]
A tumor could be to blame
While the large majority of criminals don’t have a brain tumor, some criminals have been found to have a cancer that probably contributed to their unthinkable acts. One of the most notable of these is Charles Whitman, who killed 16 people at the University of Texas in 1966 before being killed by police. He had been experiencing terrible headaches and wrote that he was having many irrational thoughts. In the suicide note he wrote before killing his wife and mother and then going on a rampage, he asked that an autopsy be performed on him to see if there was something in his brain causing him to act this way. And there was. Doctors found a glioblastoma tumor that could reasonably have affected his actions.
Pope Francis doctors remain silent, this way confirming that the brain cancer is true, Federico Lombardy was who denied, as he always do, but the doctors are silent, so is true.
and Lombardy says his source is he just asked other Vatican member, this way clearing his responsibility...
Also if the tumor is pressing his brain, he could be having hallucinations, paranoia, and would be extremely dangerous to follow anything he says...
POPE REPORTEDLY SUFFERS STROKE AFTER GOING ON RAMPAGE

So it is clear that a new Conclave must be called.
immediately
Usually, where's there's smoke, there's fire. That doesn't mean Bergoglio has a brain tumor, but we continue to see hints, here and there, that his health is failing. Just this past Spring, he told a group of people in Ostia he had health problems and asked them to pray for him. Could this be the issue he was referencing? Maybe.
We also shouldn't ignore his weight gain. Since his election, he looks to have gained 20-30 pounds. Edward Pentin wrote about that in the Spring of 2014. A doctor interviewed by him speculated Bergoglio may be suffering from congestive heart failure and the weight gain was due to fluid retention from the medication he's taking.
It's also important to remember he's a man who had part of a lung removed in his childhood. That, on it's own, is a serious condition for someone his age. He also suffered from heart ailments during his days in Buenos Aires, but claimed to have been cured of the ailment through some sort of holistic medication approach.
Long story short is this. Bergoglio is likely not well. There are too many hints and suggestions that something is amiss. On top of that, he does look to be showing signs of tiredness. That said, this tends to happen to those approaching their 80th birthday.
It wouldn't surprise me if Bergoglio retired nest year during his trip to Argentina.
I e-mailed a relative of mine who is a cardiologist (but knows a great deal about oncology...the medical field dealing with cancer) if medicine alone would cure a benign brain tumor. He said that although it can arrest the growth, the surest means is to have surgery.
He said that it is not unusuall for surgery NOT to be advised in people of the age of Pope Francis, because even though the tumor will be removed, the side effects and complications are usually deadly for people of that age, unless they are physicially fit and robust. He said if Francis had surgery, what would likey happen is that he would come out of it mentally impared....like the beginnings of Alzheimers or dementia. He also said that leaving the tumor in is a great risk, because:
1) it could turn malignant
2) even if benign, it could press on the brain and cause irratic behavior, mood swings, dementia, TIA's and even strokes and seizures similar to epilepsy.
My relative said that any medicine given the POpe would be extremely powerful, and would produce it's own series of side effects.....nausea, weight loss, dizziness, extreme fatigue, night sweats, fevers.
He also said that emotional outbursts of temper (such as Francis is said to have had over the letter from 13 Cardinals), could easily bring on a stroke or a seizure because his brain is already compromised.
I asked my relative if Francis should resign, and he said that if he were Francis, yes.
Then I asked how long he thought Francis would live, and his answer surprised me.
He said that given Francis age, and overall less than good health, once serious treatment began, the side effects alone could weaken him and even lead to his death within a year.
He concluded by saying that the Pope will not live for many years with this condition, regardless what is done.

Voodoo!
Brain tumor? Well, that would explain a lot and I'm being serious. Often times these tumors impact various parts of the brain causing odd behaviors.
even worse than physical deaths, spiritual deaths potentially of millions.
Wow, that's actually very insightful, thanks for posting.
bergoglio's behavior has been odd and antithetical to the Catholic Faith for many years....check out (from his younger years) the tango Mass, not genuflecting before the Lord after consecration, kneeling for protestant 'ministers' to bless him, telling nonCatholics, "no need to convert", and on and freakin' on. The alleged brain tumor explains very little. He's been trying to steer the mission he's had for decades to completion, now that he's in the seat of power...but it would seem that Our Lord might have other plans. Day by day it truly gets more surreal, as the mass apostasy explodes into full bloom. God help us.
Don't get too excited. At least, not just yet. Remember that this story emerged from the Italian press, and that Italian newspapers are prone to imaginative reporting.
And the fact that the Vatican denied the story? Meaningless. Unhappily, they'd do this regardless of whether the story is true or false. And regardless of whether they've been briefed on the issue.
Anyways, prayers for the Pope and for Christ's Church.

Did he have a brain tumor before becoming pope? He also did crazy, evil things then. If he has a brain tumor why did he accept his papal position.
If he dies or seems dead, and then somehow miraculously comes back to life, then you should read the mdm book where such an event for Francis is prophesied.

A brain tumor now does not explain away decades of heretical actions and spewings.
