Edit: from Toronto Catholic Witness:
The Bishop of the Diocese of Pelplin, Ryszard Kasyna has issued a canonical admonition to Msgr. Krzysztof Charamsa, who yesterday came out as a practicing homosexual. He has since been removed from active duty in the CDF.
The original Polish may be read at Polonia Christiana:
Statement on Father Krzysztof Charamsa:
In connection with the communique issued by the Holy See Press Office concerning the declaration of Fr. Krzysztof Charamsa and his statements to the media contrary to the Scriptures and teachings of the Catholic Church, whereas according to the norms of the Code of Canon Law, Fr. Krzysztof Charamsa has been admonished by the Reverend Bishop of Pelplin to return to the way of Christ's priesthood.
At the same time the Bishop of Pelplin asks all priests and the faithful to pray for this intention.
Signed,
Fr. Ireneusz Smagliński, spokesman for the Bishop of Pelplin

That's not enough. He should be laicized, without delay. Out of the priesthood with him, and likeminded people,
Damian Malliapalli
Dobrze. Good.
Now, as others have commented, let's see where this all leads to.
Damian, the letter is in perfect order. This is a canonical process. Think of it as progressive discipline in a corporation, verbal, written, suspension, dismissal. This is the first stage under Canon Law and is merciful. If the Bishop does not act this way, the priest can challenge it. He is told to return to his priesthood, not necessarily Rome. It means to break it off and get yourself to me office! He has, I think, 30 days which if he does not respond result in a suspension and then defrocking. The bishops needs to follow the Law.
Barona at Toronto Catholic Witness has a translation of an interview with Fr. Dariusz Oko and a link back to your blog. Fr. Oko reacts to the slander by this priest in Rome.

I think he should be flogged in St. Peter's Square, then defrocked.
Thanks, Vox Cantoris, just fresh from reading it. Fr.Oko's analysis of Fr. Charamsa specifically and of homosexuals generally is a must-read for every Catholic.
I hope Fr. Charamsa, lover of the center ring, repents and turns his life around, but he does seem to be the kind of guy that will end up in a liberal Protestant church in an affluent resort town on the West Coast of South America badmouthing Catholicism for the rest of his days. Maybe he'll even make friends with some retired American bishops!
HHAHAHAHA! I can think of some Cardinals and Bishops (and Popes..like the current one), who would deserve the same kind of punishment.
Be careful what you wish for. They all might enjoy it.
Careful, Anonymous @ 1.39 am - that is the Holy Father you are speaking about, and for the record - not that it matters as long as he's celibate - he's obviously straight. Aside from having had a girlfriend, a picture from early in his papacy shows clear *heterosexual* appreciation for Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, as well as Queen Silvia of Sweden.
For what its worth he was making the Wiccan sign (form of triangle) with his hands several times while posing and purring for the media.
Can you provide a link with video or show me what to look for? Might be worth a blog. Part of the problem with such things is that like with other teenage fads, it's difficult to establish a definitive authority for what constitutes what symbols.

20 seconds he brings them together 3 times with the fingers faced downwards common among Wiccans, imo
