Granted that the happiness of some women
does depend upon daily male sacrifice, we should still agitate for the
abolition of Fathers’ Day, because Fathers' Day perpetuates and legitimizes the rape culture.
Let's face it. It's not about getting rid of Father's Day, it's about getting rid of being reminded in any "way, shape or form" of the pure, beautiful and loving God.
Yep."For you have not received the spirit of bondage again in fear; but you have received the spirit of adoption of sons, whereby we cry: Abba, Father."
Thanks, Viterbo - you are spot on ! Our Almighty Father represents authority; He is the rule giver. The 'other guy' says: Non Serviam. Guess we know where these 'gals' are coming from....and, by extension, where they are go to (LOL) LaurelMaryCecilia
Speaking of Tacky Liberals, I read that unlike recent previous Popes, for the 3rd year in a row (2013,14,15), Pope Francis celebrated Mass for the pilgrims in Rome for Corpus Christi, but refused to participate in the procession, instead hopping in a car and meeting the procession at the end where he celebrated Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. It can't be for health reasons that he didn't participate, because all previous recent Popes just knelt before the Blessed Sacrament in a van covered by a canopy. Not very dignified, but they knelt before the Blessed Sacrament.
I guess Francis doesn't really believe in it. He never kneels at Mass or genuflects at the consecration.
Getting in a car and meeting the Corpus Christi procession at the end is a slap in the face to the whole traditional procession in Rome......but coming form Pope Francis, why am I not surprised.
Well, Damian, he's at least participating in it in some form and letting it go on. Given what Paul VI put us through, things could be much worse. Maybe he's too old to kneel that long? Pray and fast for him.
Lol!!

Damian J. Malliapalli
The Pope suffers an extremely painful form of Sciatica and has complications with a knee and hip.
