Stockholm's Lesbian Bishopess With Her Partner |
(Stockholm) The Lutheran "Church of Sweden" separated de facto in 1526 by the Catholic Church, when King Gustav Vasa of the newly independent Kingdom of Sweden supported the Protestant Revolt. Until 2000, it was the established church of Sweden.
The most populous Lutheran Diocese of Stockholm is named after the capital of Sweden. It was not established until 1942. Its territory was separated from the old, formerly Catholic diocese of Uppsala and Strängnäs.
Stockholm is considered the liberal flagship diocese in the country. In 1998 Caroline Krook was selected as the first woman bishop. It was followed in 2009 with Eva Avantail as the first lesbian in Stockholm's Episcopate (pictured).
Pope Calls Transsexuals Twice
Where the levees have been burst with the Lutherans for several years, the Catholic Church has firmly held to the revelation of God, that He finds one of the worst abominations to be homosexuality. As at all times, voices were heard in the past few decades on the zeitgeist issue of homosexuality in the Catholic Church, which represented an "accommodation" of the Church to the world. The more insistent the gay agenda is the articulated social policy, the louder the voices are. Since Pope Francis has taken the reigns, this request for accommodation seems to have reached the top of the Church Itself.
On January 24, Pope Francis has received a Spaniard in audience, who now presents herself as a man through a sex change. According to information which had been released she was with her girlfriend in Seville shopping, when she was called by the Pope. That was on December 20, not as initially reported on Christmas Eve. In this call, the Pope offered the invitation to the Vatican and was already predicting the date and time. This was already the second phone call from the Pope. The first call was made on December 8, Feast of the Immaculate Conception, and was "a first contact," according to Avvenire , the newspaper of the Italian bishops' conference reported today.
"We Want to Start a Family" - Pope is "Pleased"
In the guesthouse Santa Marta the Pope had embraced the Spaniard, who now calls herself Diego. Likewise, the friend whom "Diego" brought in the Vatican. The transsexual told the Pope his "dramatic personal and religious thing," said Avvenire . The 48 year-old Spaniard today had undergone gender reassignment at 40 because she felt like a man. Since then they don't "feel" they are understood any longer in their home parish.
The transexual wants, with the girlfriend presented to the Pope - actually by his own admission - to "start a family". He claims the Pope said that "he was pleased". La Repubblica therefore headlined yesterday: "Pope Francis receives Spanish Transsexual in the Vatican with His Fiancée."
Move with Pocket Game Trick?
While Catholic teaching on homosexuality has not been previously on the Pope's lips, he already sent a variety of signals for "opening up." It does not change the explicit teaching, so they may be reduced by defenders of the Pope to pastoral individual cases. However, the published opinion summarizes the various signals and spreads the impression that the Catholic Church is making a complete change under Pope Francis. Above all, the widespread impression that homosexuality is not a serious sin any more. And if that's what the Pope "says", who wants to be "more Catholic than the Pope?"
The procedure is not new. Also the other foci of Pope promotes a gradual de facto change of climate without explicitly touching the Church's teaching. Some Catholic observers try the approach to the gay agenda to be interpreted only as an apparent approach. It's presented as a test by the Pope to take the Church out of the public line of fire. Secretum meum mihi, however, speaks of a "move" with which Francis only wants to make it only less vulnerable. He's known about the resistors, who would cause a change in the expressed teaching. He had developed his own "method", "around" these resistors. Although in real life instead, it provides basic perceptual changes in front of everyone, while critics may be unpleasantly forced to provide written proof, where the Pope had actually changed the doctrine. It's a billing system which can not be provided because the Pope does not take care of the writing. A "sleight of hand," says the Argentine website Traditio Catholica. The two phone calls in which transsexuals are an indication of a conscious "planned signal" by the Pope for considerable media attention, broad impact, and yet everything is done informally.

Beyond horrible. Pope Franny apparently giving his blessing to the tranny. Playing Mr. Potato Head with your genitals is abhorrent to God. Are the last Days upon us? God only knows, but the signs seem to appear daily. Domine, miserere nobis. +JMJ+
This outrageous action by the Pope MIGHT be enough to bring him down!!!
If he actually received this pervert in the Vatican together with his "finacee", and encouraged them to start a family, I think that no decent cardinal, bishop or member of the Curia, nor any faithful Catholic would stand for this break in Catholic teaching and practice.
Pope Francis must be forced out of office. It doesn't look like he's going to die next month or whatever....so there must be built a groundswell of the faithful to force him out.
This is a very grave scandal. It must be used to the fullest by faithful Catholics to force Francis out.
Separated Christians should, I am sure you will agree, be careful to keep the eighth commandment in what they say of each other. While what you report of the current official "Church of Sweden" is correct, you fail to mention the Mission Province of Sweden and Finland, which has set up dioceses loyal to the Book of Concord of 1580, and which has already spread to other Scandinavian lands. Moreover, the consecration of the bishops of the province derive from an African Lutheran bishop in historic succession. Please check out the Mission Province and its courageous testimony in the Scandinavian context. And if you have any questions about it, please ask your own co-religionist, Professor William Tighe.
Why should we want to see him booted out? He is doing a great job in discrediting the whole false Vat II program.
Franny and the tranny...Mr. Potato Head with genitals. Two classics!
Who cares?
Exactly Tancred - Anon's is the most insignificant non-news event ever recorded on your blog. Massive yawn!
The entire ecclesiastical world both neo-conciliar and protestant is going relentlessly in a rapidly winding spiral Hellwards. The installation of the latest papal trespasser has accelerated this trend exponentially.

Who do their own schtick.
Not to the girls
Who call themselves Rick.

Who cut off heads quick.

Not to the gals
On their buses so slick.
Not to the spouses –

She, I’ll chastise,
She, I’ll berate,
Then brag to reporters
How I admonish sins great –
A mother and child,
Humbly…humiliate!

Anon 4:23,
On one hand it's great to have Papa Frank at the helm because it exposes Vatican II for what it really is. Many people were made complacent and lukewarm by Benedict XVI, but with Papa Frank these same people are now waking up and becoming unapologetically traditional and jumping ship to the SSPX. The hermeneutic of of continuity has been completely debunked. Catholics are now understanding the true fight in the Church, the Syllabus of Errors vs the Counter Syllabus [Guadium et Spes].
But still, it's only Catholic to want a man like Papa Bergoglio overthrown and condemned. While It's an absolute joy to see Novus Ordo Catholics embracing Tradition, it's now impossible to convert non-Catholics, it's even harder than it was when John Paul II was pope. When speaking to a non-religious person about "culture war" issues you can see the triumph and smugness in their face when they dogmatically cite Francis "Who am I to judge? Anathama sit".
How could this woman who says she is now a man start a family? Not without medical intervention which is also another SIN. But sin is not declared such in modernist Rome.
Matthew 7:1-5
1 Cor 6:2-3
Matthew 5: 17-19
If Benedict is the 'conservative catholic' like so many are led to believe, why isn't he speaking out? Go ahead delete this comment like usual when exposing Joseph ratzinger for the modernist he has been for 50 years.Eventually the right people will wake and realize he is a Vatican 2 fraud.

You will be telling us that he caused this whole stinking mess by resigning next! Oh.....
Why are you writing about Protestant apostates on a Catholic site?
Anon 11:09,
You quote the Bible like a heretic. You can't pick and choose verses, you have to read the Bible as a collective whole.
In the very same chapter you quote, you completely ignored Jesus when He told us to beware of false prophets. How can we "beware" of something without the basic cognitive function of judgement?
"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in the clothing of sheep, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." - Matthew 7:15
In Matthew 7:1-5 Jesus isn't telling us not to make judgements, Jesus is warning us against hypocrisy. That's why he says "And why seest thou the mote that is in thy brother' s eye; and seest not the beam that is in thy own eye? ... Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam in thy own eye, and then shalt thou see to cast out the mote out of thy brother' s eye.
In verse I bolded, Jesus says we can cast the "mote out of thy brother's eye" if we first cast the beam from out own eye. The verses you quoted tell us that we can judge someone if we ourselves are guiltless. You lack basic reading comprehension. We cannot condemn a person for impurity of the eyes when we ourselves are fornicators, we cannot condemn a person for anger when we ourselves are murderers. If we do not forgive someone who wronged us when they ask for forgiveness, then God won't forgive us when we ask forgiveness after we've wronged God.
Tu capisci?
St. Paul further upholds the teachings of Jesus Christ:
"Know you not that the saints shall judge this world? And if the world shall be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know you not that we shall judge angels? how much more things of this world?" - 1 Corinnthians 6:2,3
St. Paul extorts us to condemn our bishops (including the bishop of Rome) if they preach another gospel contrary to Scripture and Tradition:
"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach a gospel to you besides that which we have preached to you, let him be anathema. [9] As we said before, so now I say again: If any one preach to you a gospel, besides that which you have received, let him be anathema." Galatians 1:8,9
I've criticized Benedict XVI many times on this blog, my posts were never deleted. I quoted his own words and expressed myself in a civilized on courteous manner.
I assume your posts were deleted because your grammar and syntax is broken. On top of all that you come across as angry and paranoid. It doesn't matter if your posts were absolute truth or absolute lies, nobody wants to deal with a person who comes across as a patient in a mental health institution.
Maybe Benedict XVI started out a Mod, and made his mistakes, but I certainly think he has repented of his prior judgments and changed his heart once he became head of the CDF. He picked some bad, turncoat bishops perhaps, but don't those bishops have a like obligation to correct themselves, or accept correction, especially correction from the laity as Vatican II probably intended?
I suppose that Pope Francis would claim that Jesus sat down with sinners and was criticised for doing so. He is reaching out to those outside the Church? But is there not a difference here? The problem is that we do not know what the Pope said to these two. According to the source of this story 'Hoy', a Spanish newspaper, the person involved did not wish to say anything about the meeting. However it appears that he/she found peace.
If this person has undergone gender reassignment surgery then that is mutilation of the body and it is a sinful act. But like any other sin is forgivable. It seems to me that this was a private meeting between Diego and a priest and there is nothing exceptional about that and in normal circumstances nobody need know what took place or that it did take place. The problem is that this priest is the Pope and I suppose it is inevitable that the fact of the meeting will become public. Maybe the Pope put him right - we will never know. It is the public angle that concerns me. Perhaps the Pope will justify this by saying he wanted to show the world that he is prepared to meet or reach out to anyone. However the media will inevitably interpret this as an indorsement of a sex change and that will cause scandal amongst the faithful and serve to undermine the teaching of the Church. I would have thought that it would have been more discrete to respond to Diego's request by sending a priest to talk to him rather than risking giving scandal by having a meeting.
Why on earth do you call the confused, self-mutilated woman a he? Every cell in her body rings out and witnesses to the truth.
And as to your ridiculous assertion that it may have been a counseling session, and the BofR might have 'put her right', all you need to do is see how SHE lives her life from now on....if she was counseled as to the sin of her situation, she would move out of the lesbian relationship, and do her best to live as the woman God made her, with the help of His grace and the Sacraments.
If she continues to live as a pretend man, with her live-in lesbian lover, status quo; but having 'found peace' with it after meeting with the Vicar of Christ, then we know what he said to her. And by her statement that she told him they were planning to "start a family" (!) and "he was pleased", it looks to be for all the world to see that he gave them his blessing.
D.E.M.O.N.I.C.
Susan: Sorry about the two 'hims'. It is a pity there is not a neutral gender in English!
I said this might have been a counselling session. Until one gets to know what happens next that is not a ridiculous suggestion.
As to the alleged statement about starting a family and the Pope being pleased I have not been able to find any mention of this in the account by 'Hoy' which seems to have been the source for other accounts such as that in La Repubblica. According to Hoy Diego said nothing about what took place at the meeting.
One ought to feel sorry for Diego. Gender dysphoria is an unhappy mental state. Certain members of the medical profession have exploited such people by carrying out mutilations etc which do not cure the problem but cost a lot of money. Counselling can lead to a cure.
In England we have had our "leading Catholic Hospital" carrying out such operations for years with the hierarchy turning a blind eye to this. I and others campaigned against this for years but received no help from the hierarchy in particular Cardinal Cormac Murphy O'Connor and we all know who he voted for in the conclave! The Bishops Conference was alleged to have said that such operations were okay if the patient felt better afterwards. But they don't. Unfortunately this incident will probably make our hierarchy feel justified in doing nothing.
However take a look at the photo of Diego in the copy of 'Hoy'. He looks a sad individual living an illusion.
Looking further at the articles in Hoy it appears that Diego is 48 years old. I must say that she looks a lot older with greying hair. As to the fiancée there is no mention of her name or any photo. Diego lives in Plasencia and the fiancée in Seville a few hundred miles apart. Diego says nothing about forming a family - there is merely a statement by the journalist that she will form a family. Diego says nothing about her relationship with the fiancée so I think we need to be careful before jumping to conclusions. If she had the full reassignment it will have involved a double mastectomy and hysterectomy followed by further surgery. Without going into details she ends up with something that does not work in any way whatever so anything resembling sexual relations is impossible. Effectively she is neutered at a cost of perhaps £100,000. There is a narcissistic element in this.. Many who have been through this become suicidal. It is therefore possible to see the Pope's actions as helping someone but I still feel it was unwise because of how the media interpret it as heralding a forthcoming change in the Church's teaching. Pink News on the other hand sees no prospect of such a change.
I can't imagine even La Republica, or Avenirre would manufacture quotes opening themselves up to liability.
What a disaster this papacy has become.
My deleted comments were facts or quotes.I have learned to not get emotional when talking about history.Meaning, I don't let my personal views firm my beliefs. So saying I am 'paranoid' doesn't help your case. Its your blog and understand you delete as you see fit.
However I have noticed the only group who is condemned or insulted amongst the Vatican 2 sect are traditional catholics. We agree with John the 23rd that Vatican 2 was a 'new pentecost.'Yes those men from the 50's/60's started a new religion. (His words not mine.Is quoting a Vatican 2 prelate 'paranoia'?
