[Piusbruder.de] The Society is going to attend another church in Paris.
It is relates to the church "Our Beloved Lady of Comfort" in the 8th District.
The building came into existence shortly before the turn of the century as a memorial church, which was built in memory of the the fire of 1897. In this place the Duchess of Alencon, the sister of Elisabeth of Austria, lost her life.
The historically protected church has a large crypt, so that it can also hold large numbers of the faithful.
The 8th District of Paris is northwest of the Cathedral of Notre Dam on the right bank of the Seine, and is the political and economic center of Paris. Here stands also the Élysée Palace.

What are the details of this case? How did the SSPX come to be in charge of this church? This could be the start of something wonderful. As the liberal order of things continues to die off and decline, I believe this will happen naturally.

SSPX moved to Notre Dame Consolation in Paris 8e by Ennemond (2013-01-20 8:59:56 p.m.)
Our Lady of Consolation was erected on the site of the fire at the Bazar de la Charité where died May 4, 1897 one hundred and twenty to five victims, including the Duchess of Alencon, sister of the famous Empress Sissi. The architect of the building has received for his work the gold medal in the Universal Exhibition of 1900 and the chapel and cloister are also classified historic monument.
After successively hosted two religious communities in the twentieth century, Our Lady of Consolation is for several days in the hands of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X under the leadership of Father Gregory Celier. For the Society, this new facility will replace the historical chapel Sainte-Germaine, adjoining the Salle Wagram, serving as priests since 1974 (well before the finish in Saint-Nicolas du Chardonnet). However, if the decor is not as rich, its dimensions remain more reasonable than the parish of V e . It has, however, a greater crypt extended to serve as a place of worship for special occasions.
These places have perished in appalling conditions of women who spent this Tuesday, May 4 for the needy and, in some cases, gave their lives to save others. Their faith was such that they have exercised charity until the end. And besides, at the entrance to the chapel, two large statues around the main gate. They are right faith and charity left. Undoubtedly there a wink of Providence that allows settled in these places the followers of Archbishop whose motto allied these two virtues: "And we have believed in charity" .
The chapel of the Laennec Hospital, Rue de la Cossonnerie, Wagram, St-Nicolas-du-Chardonnet, St-Eugène-Ste-Cécile, now Our Lady Consolation , rue Jean-Goujon, so many places - I cite only the most important - which are also terminals in the history of the traditional Mass e redeployment in Paris since 1969.

A true sign from Our Lady! She has thrown her arms of consolation around the Society.
Queen of the Universe, Mediatrix of men to God, Refuge of all our hopes, have mercy of us.

I have been to this chapel and can warmly recommend it to anyone visiting Paris. It is quite the little gem. Just like St Nicolas de Chardonnet, it is easy to reach by the metro.
please pray for little haley in these sspx churches in paris, thanks
I have been to this inspiring little chapel and would like to take a friend, who is a devout Catholic lady, with me in September this year.
Does anyone know opening times to look at this church, and do they celebrate Mass here? Thank you.
