Hello? Doesn't he say the New Mass and accept all of the pastoral Vatican II Councils errors? Are there any closet traditionalists today to be the next pope or will it be the antipope (false prophet) of antichrist?
I guess he'd be about the best available option, him or Ranjith maybe. At least they'd be about on Benedict's 'better than what we had' level and not a regression to the awful Paul-JP years. Too bad Bp. Schneider isn't a Cardinal, eh?
"Keep" it Catholic?? Let's return it to Catholicism first and THEN vote to keep it.
ReplyDeleteMAKE CATHOLICISM CATHOLIC
VOTE TISSIER, FELLAY OR DE GALLERETTA
You may as well vote for Pope Micheal. Lol
DeleteI might be crazy but I continue to recognize the visible Catholic Church as Catholic.

If I really thought that, because some isolated individuals insist that he’s not Catholic for those reasons, I wouldn’t be bothering with this blog.

ReplyDeleteWell....technically one does not have to be a Cardinal to be elected Pope. At least that was Church canon law for centuries (has it been changed?).
DeleteSt Peter Celestine, the one everyone is recalling now, wasn't even a Bishop when he was elected to the Papacy.
Schneider would be a gift from Heaven.
Well yeah, I'm just assuming they'll stick within their own group as usual.
DeleteUnfortunately, when Burke speaks he sounds.... let's call it affected.
