[TIA] In order to obtain a modernist personal prelature, Bishop Fellay has transformed the work of Archbishop Lefebvre into a personal dictatorship, assisted by a small circle of a dozen priests inside the SSPX ranks. The founder, who always acted transparently before the faithful regarding his relations with Rome, was betrayed.
Accused of being a dictator and asked to resign |
At Albano on October 4, 2011, Bishop Fellay reportedly did not show the text of the Doctrinal Preamble to the SSPX superiors, but only gave a spoken presentation of it. This demonstrates his lack of transparency and his suspicion toward the very members of the General Chapter. Along with his two executives - Frs. Pfluger and Nly - Bishop Fellay seems to want to impose only his processus of merge-betrayal to the other superiors of the SSPX.

I find the article interesting in that:
1. The sources that TIA uses are ex-sspx. Highly unlikely to be impartial in their investigative reporting.
2. The tone has a nice thick conspiracy theory flavour (high on emotional content, low on information).
3. Based on my discussions with Bishop Tissier de Mallerais, it does not jive.
Just another example of the pressures being applied externally to the SSPX (ex-SSPX priests are by definition -out).
What's needed: p^3
Prayer
Patience
Perseverence
TIA are rabble-rousers. They've never cared for the SSPX OR Archbishop Lefebvre so why should anyone listen to them in the first place?
TIA has some good stuff. Like anything else, it's not perfect. I'm very saddened by the division within the Catholic Church whenever it occurs. The Society and TIA should be allies.
Hmmm... this is all very interesting! I agree with staying with the 3 P's; however, one must also keep an ear to the ground, stay awake, and be prepared for whether or not Bishop Fellay signs on the dotted line. Pray for us O Holy Mother of God.
IS THE SSPX MASS VALID? YES, BUT THE PRIEST COULD BE IN MORTAL SIN FOR REJECTING A DEFINED DOGMA WITH HIS ‘EXCEPTIONS’
There are conditions for offering the Tridentine Rite Mass. Are they being met by the SSPX ?
