Germany. Yesterday the German Bishops elected the Old Liberal Bishop Norbert Trelle of Hildesheim for six years as the Vice Chairman of the Bishops' Conference. Up until now the Old Liberal Bishop Heinrich Mussinghoff of Aachen has held the office. Msgr Trelle qualifies because of his Old Liberal bonifides. He formed his earlier seminary chapel in the style of a
Sushi-bar without the tabernacle. At the beginning of September the Bishop celebrated the wreckovation of his Cathedral with a beer bash and
pig roast.
