Editor: Of course it's going to confirm what we've been saying all along. Still, we're not going to demur from pointing out that there were people who weren't willing to innocent till proven guilty on Father Corapi and give more credibility to the accusations than they deserved. Yes, a vindictive woman, imagine that, wanted to ruin Father Corapi's career and after that there was quite an outpouring of dreck assaulting his character from some of the less virile, less orthodox areas of the blogospear, and media complex, insinuations from certain quarters we're not going to forget: the network gone wrong, deacon's stench, the cankerous and crabby roads.

Finally Corapi is exposed as the fraud he always was. How sad that some many were exploited.
ReplyDeleteCorapi himself has dropped the “Father” title. He himself is choosing to leave the priesthood rather than give up his public audience. He has clearly chosen personal pride and arrogance over God.
ReplyDeleteThe moniker “Black Sheepdog” is just plain whackadoo. No serious, adult male who presents himself as a serious follower of Christ chooses fantasy fiction imagery of the sort found on role-playing sites, nor do they adopt a ridiculously funny role-playing name like this. What is this dude? 12? Spend most of his time on World of Warcraft, or something? C’mon!
He has clearly preyed on the mentally and spiritually weak and has opted to continue that path rather than to keep his vows. That should tell you something about his real character, but the people who need to hear that are so far gone themselves, they’ll never see it. Not even after he’s bilked them out of their bank accounts, retirement funds, etc.
At some point you stop feeling sorry for the people who get suckered in by creeps like Corapi. They’re adults, and they make their choices. Fine. Just don’t come cryng to me when you’re broke and Corapi is off on some beach somewhere sipping a Mai Tai and cavorting with a bikini-clad gold digger on your dime.
That the people who think they’re the “truest” Catholics are so easily taken in by a blatantly obvious huckster like Corapi speaks to something very dark and evil in the Church.
Corapi is a fraud, always has been, always will be. He’s living on YOUR money, spitting in the face of the Church on YOUR money, behaving like a frat boy on YOUR money, so fine — y’all can have it.
Corapi is just another cult leader. When he tells you to drink the Kool-Aid, I’m sure his most devoted followers will oblige. Fine. Let them all go to their Maker — He’ll settle ‘em down alright.
Harsh words? Yep. But no less harsh than any of the horse manure that ridiculous faux-tanned, hair-dyed, creepy old loon has ever spouted.
You're both petty old doodoo birds.
ReplyDeleteHarsh words? Empty and vile words with unsubstantiated banter from someone I wouldn't dare to call a man.
