Having some familiarity with these folks at Saint Benedict Center for a number of years I am a bit startled by this headline. What, exactly, did they do that required them to be "reconciled"?
I am unaware of any of their teachings that required recantation. And the mere fact that the Bishop appointed a priest to serve their community, to replace the aged and infirm one who had been serving them, is hardly anything more than an act of simple justice on the part of the local Chancery. This is not to minimize the graciousness of the Bishop's act but I do not recall hearing him demand any sort of "recanting" in order for them to have a new priest.
It would serve the cause of truth a little better if people like "Father Z" would attend to the facts a bit more than he has. He is good on some issues and abominable on others.
Saint Benedict Center was (and is) hated by many simply for its adherence to authentic Church teaching, no more, no less. And no priest, Bishop or Pope ever required any recanting of any of their teachings despite the weaknesses of these priests, Bishops and Popes.
Even Father Feeney's famous "excommunication" was every bit as bogus as his subsequent "reconciliation."

Father Z should know better.
He should know better, because I heard him so instructed on this. It's not like he hasn't seen this stuff before.
