"The Koran gives Muslims the right to judge Christians and kill them with Jihad," he said. "It gives orders to impose religion with force, with the sword. For this reason, Muslims don't recognise the freedom of religion among themselves or others."
Pope Benedict XVI on 11 Oct. the opened the two-week-long meeting of 246 Middle East bishops and other religious leaders by lashing out against violence "in God's name".

Most interesting. But I think if one substituted the word "Talmud" for "Koran" a similar situation would reveal itself. What has been going on in the Holy Land these past sixty years should amply illustrate the point.
It is all very well and good (and necessary) to point out the excesses of the Moslems, but let us not forget who stirred up that hornet's nest back in 1948 and has kept the anti-Christian forces at white heat ever since. In other words, let us keep a thorough and complete perspective on what is going on in the Middle East, and not fall into the trap of heaping ALL of the blame upon the Moslems. There are other evil forces at work trying to destroy that holy land, and those forces emanate from places as far afield as New York, Washington and Tel Aviv.
